Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

  • Name: Kiyohime
  • Class: Lancer
  • Appearance: Kiyo, is something wrong with your hair?
  • Personality: If you keep your word and don't rebuff her, then she will be a loving and attentive wife, though eternally with the downside that she might kill you at any time if you were to start lying or turn your back on her. To other people, she can be fairly snippy if her devotion is questioned, but will otherwise try to be polite.
She's not oblivious that her own world-view and attitude has its shortcomings and is rather... incorrect, but there's not much she can do about it.
Obviously, if you try to run, there will be problems.

    • Noble Phantasm: EX
  • Class Skills:
    • Magic Resistance: A. Kiyohime is a dragon... implausibly so, and yet.
  • Personal Skills:
    • Flame-Coloured Kiss: A. Love and madness allows Kiyohime to push far beyond what she should be capable of, to the point of her current state--and its main benefit. Dragons, after all, are creatures with magical breath... that extends to Kiyohime as well. Even without transformations, she has the fiery breath of a dragon. Albeit smaller.
    • Insanity: EX. Even beyond her in-life fixation on Anchin and implausible achievements thereof, Kiyohime will invariably decide that her Master is Anchin and shower them with the same affection... despite on a conscious level being rather aware that they are not the same Anchin. It's best to not plumb too far into the depths of her mind: her Master is Anchin, even if this is a different Anchin or the same Anchin in some capacity. They are Anchin, and she is Anchin's wife. It's quite clear to her.
Grants extraordinary resistance to mental interference, particularly where her Master is concerned. However, command seals that would attempt to alter or address this fundamental problem will have no effect.
    • Morph: C+. Kiyohime's shapeshifting is highly limited, merely being a degree of her full transformation into a dragon. However, this specialised transformation comes with direct attribute benefits; as she transforms further her base strength and endurance will increase... at the obvious downside of being increasingly a dragon.
    • Stalking: B. A bizarre ability to pursue a beloved target... no matter the distance, a combination of the five sense and magic will allow Kiyohime to track down "her" Anchin regardless of the distance.
  • Noble Phantasm(s):
    • Name: Transforming, Flame-Emitting Meditation
    • Rank: EX
    • Type: Anti-Unit
    • Appearance: Hot.
    • Effects: An immensely straightforward ability... Kiyohime transforms fully into a dragon, with incredibly lethal, fiery breath. Normally, as a Servant, this would have a duration of merely a single turn--but here in Japan, it can last longer with an appropriate mana supply, though her abilities don't support this alone.
  • Alignment: Chaotic Evil
  • Changes: Combination of GO Lancer and Berserker versions, with modifications to make more sense. Given the benefits of staging ground for the extra rank of Agility and NP endurance.

Small post just to keep moving things on.
Tyaethe Radistirin

"You've got my report. You're pretty good, could be better; enough of a grasp of tactics to handle this lot. Just don't have us charge uphill in a thunderstorm in swampy weather and it's good," Tyaethe stated, shrugging again and turning away from the battlefield. Was the paladin supposed to assist with corralling the surrendered and managing the dead? Probably, but she didn't think there was anyone that could make her.

Nor was she particularly good at it when she only came up to everyone's chests. Manifesting armour just to help with logistics was a pain.

She'd just go check on their supplies and prepare for the trip back to the capital.
Hibiki's face was an interesting look as she followed Zeke, by now ignoring the mostly-harmless crowd--mad they might be, but it was also clear that they were nowhere near capable of presenting a threat. Even any potshots taken just deflected harmlessly off her wrists. Her attitude in the alley was clearly dismayed... not as horrified as the girl's disposition would suggest, she had clearly seen a lot more death and destruction than her attempts to make conversation leant towards.

But this was far beyond what Hibiki usually dealt with. The Noise tended to be a lot cleaner, most of the blood came from internal injuries... there had been disasters, but nothing like this. This was undiluted carnage and destruction, perpetrated by monsters every bit as bad as the Noise, even if they were definitely more vulnerable.

Whatever might have been human about the beasts feasting, they clearly weren't any more, and they needed to be stopped, before any of the non-maddened people of this city were drawn into it. And deciding this was about when Hibiki surged past Zeke, the jump taking her beyond the first beast and to the end of the alleyway, fist cocked back and the mechanisms on it shifting, ratcheting back a massive assembly of potential force--

The ensuing punch, and shockwave, reduced the front of half of one of the beasts to something resembling salsa. Possibly still overkill, given the crater that Hibiki, the bodies, and parts of the neighbouring buildings' foundations now found themselves in.

The paladin just rolled her eyes, swinging the sword onto her shoulder as the carnage came to a standstill, "Don't say I didn't warn you; there's worse than him out there and I can't fight them all." Not for want of trying, but it was simply impossible to be everywhere there was a strong opponent or the like.

Red eyes scanned the increasing gloom of the camp, noting that everything seemed to have come to a halt now. Whatever resolve the remaining bandits might have had was definitely broken with the collapse of their leader and they were just standing around awaiting their fate. Good thing that she wasn't in charge of prisoner management, that was always pretty boring.

Tyaethe kept pace with Elodie, looking at the fallen Bandit King and his opponents, "We've definitely got room for improvement. Should have only needed two of you at most."

"I dare say it feels just as comfortable as the old one. Certainly, the stiffness has reduced considerably," Efander answered, musing. How odd that she felt so comfortable despite the major changes and their coming from what felt like one moment to the next, "It may be that regulating mana flows unconsciously has the same effect as exercising muscles would normally do so; or perhaps allowing her Divinity's essence in for so long had an effect.

"Perhaps at a later date I may find time to write a memoir and consider the effects of regular contact with advanced energies on the nature of the soul but for now, we have quite more pressing concerns. For instance, did I size my clothing correctly?" she wondered, turning around to give Aerarius a better look, "And..."

This time, the gold eyes were meeting the robot's gaze, "Did anyone on the way down note that this forest must have taken centuries to grow?"
@ERode Is it a good trip?
Double post, but I have a deadline right now, so I won't be able to post until the weekend. Though waiting on @ERode anyway.
The Ex-Old Man

Those children... rushing off like that and leaving an old-timer like her alone. Didn't they know that was awfully rude? Not to mention a sure sign of bad luck--the thought was promptly cut off by part of the passageway out collapsing. If she had delayed just a minute more, this would really have been something of a problem. Nearly as much of a problem as the sudden appearance of a forest.

Hm, from the growth, it wasn't an old primeval forest, it was more similar to the way some woods had grown up during the sage's prior travels. It was all in all... something of a bad sign. Like the bad luck hadn't been put in stasis and things had gone quite wrong, making their rest much longer. That would explain how her age had changed so drastically in comparison to the relatively short time they had been planning. A few decades, after all, wouldn't have been expected to both reconfigure one's anatomy and remove a normal lifetime's worth of ageing.

The new village at the mountain's base was the only place the others could have gone and Efander made her way down, continuing to work out some of the kinks in her muscles, testing the restrictiveness of her tailoring a bit more. Sure enough, outside the town was a quite noticeably metal figure, presumably left so as to not scare anyone... or maybe they thought that she might get lost on the short trip. As if a great sage could get lost; they would merely take a different path and arrive exactly when they meant to.

"Ho, so you have been left out here to greet me?" the girl asked, moving to more clearly be seen by Aenarius--complete with her change of outfit. Not that this was the ideal target to assess a reaction on.
