Okay, I am so sorry that took so long. Holiday crunchtime has been a killer over here.
Krista Reynolds

Krista had scarcely put her own hand down from returning the Captain's salute when the Sargent entered. Krista snapped to attention, her relief at seeing them alive tempered by the phantom burning her arms from the last time she didn't show her proper deference. Still, she was at the back of the group and seemingly unnoticed by the rest of the group, which suited her just fine.

She stayed in the back as they were shown the containment area, moving forward enough only to get a good look at the first screen. The creature just radiated unease, even through the screen. The idea that it was so close by unnerved her, and she found herself glancing between the screens and the sphere, half expecting it to try punching its way out like a comic book monster. Her gaze lingered its cell as the rest turned to the other. Like before, she couldn't help but feel a bit of a stranger to the proceedings.

She was one of the first to leave, having no business with the cadet she'd never met. However she made a point of approaching Elise, and saying "I'm glad to see you made it in one piece, Sargent." She kicked herself and quickly added "Or made it out alive, I mean."

I looked across the muddy pit, reeking of decay. My mind went back to some of the drug dens and brothels I'd busted, though the humidity made the stench cling to my nostrils. The lizards on the other side were oblivious to the group's presence, but I've seen enough gaurd dogs to know that could esily change. Last thing we needed was for

“Think you can get the other one?”

Marston turned back to Quiet, Cedar, and Julian.

“If you all have any other ideas, I’d be willing to hear ‘em.”

"I've hit harder targets." A trail of dead bodies testifies to that. I unholstered my gun, cradling it both hands and keeping the muzzle down. It was heavy in my hands, and mentally practiced the motion like I was at the station's range. Lift the gun, point at the target, and fire off a trio of shots. "Ready on your mark, I will take the one on the right."
@LeiaHairI think it's far to say we have at least a few pony fans in here, so if you want more clarification on those aspects feel free to air those questions.
Im so sorry, I didnt realize you were waiting on me to post. I will try to get a post up soon. @Dragoknighte
Whelp, I am watching. Certainly hoping to see this go through. Incidentally, if anyone needs to ask me questions about MLP and such, feel free to ask.

The situation had deteriorated quickly. An all out brawl had broken out, onis and humans fighting each other, though the humans were clearly at the disadvantage. Margot had barely pushed herself to her feet when an oni zeroed in on her, lumbering up. She drew her blades quickly, the metal glinting in the dim light as she held them in the ready. The oni grinned reaching behind his back with both arms. "You fight with toothpicks." He drew a pair of clubs and swung them horizontally, forcing her to step back and bend back. Fifty kilos of iron crashed together mere centimeters in front of Margot's face. "I will break them, and then you." He pulled the clubs back, twirling them around and resting them on his shoulders with casual ease. "Heh, lucky."

Taking a step back, she stood back up. The oni snorted, their hot breath flapping her hat's brim. His chest gave away his next action, left shoulder tensing up in preparation for a swing. The club came crashing down where she had stood a moment before. She shouted as she stabbed her sword through the oni's forearm, forcing him to let go of his club. With a grunt she pulled her sword out, dodging the oni's wild swing with his other arm, driving her dagger through his hand. Both of the clubs thudded to the ground as he curled up and wept. "No, just good."

She took stock of the situation, picking her way through the rubble, using her nimbleness to her advantage to dodge or subdue any oni that she came across. Already small pockets of Nomads had grouped up, holding off the oni and defending the few surviving civilians to different degrees of success. She barely noticed the woman confronting Daichi in the center of the now destroyed arena. Finally she spotted Brooke kicking an oni down, and ran over to them. "Jill, Brooke, good to see you al—" she noticed the skeleton standing with them, and blinked owlishly. "...On est dans un maison hantée ici?"

Personally I am going for a bit tongue in cheek. It's why I went for both Max Payne and the Medic. I was thinking of at least one exchange between Max and Kerrigan (@FrozenEcstasy) would be chuckle worthy. The Medic himself comes from an absurd universe, and I purposefully made it so he could bring some of that absurdity to the crossover.
Ah this looks neat. And full character wise. :P

Anyway I hope this goes well, I will be reading along.

“Feels like I just broke into the world's sturdiest toy chest” I looked to Masrton and shrugged at his comment. “I didn't realize they had rubber in the Old West.” Stowing the toy away, I looked at the seeds that came with them. They were hard as rocks, and didn't look very appetizing. “These don't look like any nut I've seen.”I stowed them away and walked over to the log. “Alright, let's go check on the others.” Taking Shen's hand, I climbed up and over the log and jumped down the other side.

I looked at the mushroom Marston offered, and gave him one of the seeds back. “Thanks. You recognize this? I can't say I have but it looks like it would hurt to be beaned with one of these.” Beating dust off my hands, I looked at the rest of the group, and saw that Cedar had climbed onto the robot like a magnificent steed. Adding another line to my “List of things I never expected to say” list, I walked over, taking a quick stock of the rest of the group's status. “Didn't find much. Looks like we'll have to head that way,” I nodded to the north, “to find anything good.”
