A mallet would do next to nothing to the glacier Kosuke usually was in front of a stranger. As a solid social brick, he was proud of his resilience in the face of frontal assault, but there was something familiar about this guy which he couldn't place a finger on.

"Wait a minute!" Kosuke shouted.

His hands shot out and rapidly patted Shiro all over. The gleam in his eyes and the speed of his arms were like a 6 armed deva. The patting was mainly focused on the sides of Shiro's body, but they were so soft Shiro would've hardly felt it. After a few seconds, Kosuke stopped abruptly. The only evidence of the intense pattting session were Shiro's ruffled clothes.

"You're Paper Moon!" He said, his voice dropping to a hiss.

He could recognize him because just four days ago, during the Civil War, he'd done the exact same thing. He'd been hovering a little to compensate for his real life height at the time, so it was the same feeling as when he'd done it just now.

"You're not supposed to know me. What are you doing?" He said in a dangerous tone. "Depending on your answer I may have to erase you..."

Then they can go find a cute little parfait for Asahi.

"Yeah, alright I guess..." Kosuke said dejectedly. "I'll be leaving then."

A bunch of the information he'd gotten just now, he hadn't known about but it wasn't really what he wanted. Granted, there was a low chance the Newspaper Club would've known about it in the first place, but there weren't many other places he could really go to. There were very few people in Purple Crown who gathered information. There was the Newspaper Club who had a very open policy with it, and there were the Erasers who were kinda illegal and who didn't take random requests either, so there wasn't much choice in Purple Crown.

There were sometimes people like Todo Machidai who was sort of an individual kind of broker, but Kosuke only really wanted to associate with him when he was Candid Eye. Kosuke didn't have much of a reputation in Purple Crown, but both he and Todo understood that if he stuck around him for too long what little there was would turn sour. Todo probably didn't know anyway.

"Crap... the hell do I do now?" He said.

I say that leveling up is alright, but that Cloak of Starlight ability is too powerful. It's at the same time, a strong defense, a nearly impossible to avoid automatic attack, a debuff, and a utility spell. On top of that, when he gets over level 06, he'll be able to maintain it indefinitely. That really needs a revision.

The one for the cat is ok, though.

I meant for the cooldown to start after the duration had ended but I'll increase it to three anyway
I removed the retaliation effect and instead added some conditions for melee attacks
The invisibility was probably too much to begin with so I removed that as well, but I would like to keep it
And there's some extra restrictions on capacity as well

Will that be alright now?

Can I have Arkadian at level 2 next time I post for him?

Abilities are as follows

level 2

Arkadian - Level 2: Cloak of Starlight
When activating this ability, the stars on Arkadian's cloak start to shine and it gains the ability to grow and shrink at will. Cloak of Starlight is able to absorb and nullify any ranged attack that hits it, but it will only be able to absorb an amount of attacks equal to 1.5 times his level.

An attack is classified as something equal to something large like a tank shell, or a volley of 6-7 bullets.

Cloak of Starlight does not completely protect against melee strikes, but blunt attacks and stabbing attacks will have their damage halved and additional effects nullified, and slashing attacks will end Cloak of Starlight's duration prematurely if sufficient damage is inflicted onto it.

Cloak of Starlight lasts for 1 round plus another round per 3 character levels Arkadian possesses and cools down in 3 rounds, starting after the duration ends.

Christopher the Cosmo Cat - Level 2: Astral Shift
Astral Shift allows Christopher to teleport a short distance away in any direction. He teleports in a small flash of light but that's mostly a cosmetic feature. It can be used while Christopher is channelling Cosmosis and also passively allows Christopher to be conscious during Cosmosis so he can teleport properly. He still cannot move quickly while channelling Cosmosis however.

Astral Shift has no cooldown, but can only be used once per action which for Christopher means once per round.

Sorry I've been gone for a while. Could someone summarize the IC for me? Are all the guild kings there? Did we get new people?

If you're looking for a more micro-oriented summary it's something like;

After Hibiki tripped, the Red King and Green King passed by and the Red King bent down to help. Emmma took the package off her hands which happened to be their new printer.

Kosuke stepped over her to ask Thomas about finding out what the Black Guild's plan for the School festival was, then Thomas invited everybody in for snacks which were on the table.

Then @Reapthemusic's character Erika came back, allegedly being in a coma until the death of Corpse Collector (read this for more info, and our new person @ColouredCyan's character Caitlyn Dunnst swung by the Newspaper club as well.

Erika is no longer a social recluse and is now popular amongst most of the students, and also came in to flirt with the Red King a little bit. @ColouredCyan's character steps into the clubroom a little later.

Meanwhile in the Clubroom, the Blue King who, as it turns out was a benefactor(?) of the Newspaper club, goes off at everybody and takes Erika outside to have a secret conversation.

After the secret conversation, Blue King comes back in and Caitlyn also comes back in, and that's where we're all up to right about now.

It's basically only been about 2-3 minutes since Hibiki tripped and you can basically do whatever you want right now.
