so...um...i'm error and I've been doing rp since i was about 12...so for about two years I've been doing rp.(except for last year...) i'm not the greatest but i'm better than some people I've attempted to rp with... but im willing to give it a try again...feel free to pm me.

I get intense social anxiety. Especially in Guild/RP settings. I always have. No mistake my best friends are those who engage me and are willing to guide me away from the anxiety and back to just having fun writing together.

I'd be so lost without them.

Discord and role-playing, a good idea or a no-no?

I've seen groups use discord for easier contact in a rp, and I've even seen groups migrate to using discord fully. Then again I've seen groups die in discord too.

1: What is your opinion on using discord alongside the site?

2: If a group based in a discord server was looking for people, would it be against site rules to post a lfg for it here? I cant seem to find the site rules page.

1) Has it's pluses and minuses. Depends on taste.

2) Yes it is. That's considered advertising for a non-site RP. As Nutty said if the Discord has a Guild connection, it's fine. Otherwise...

Hello! My name is Sierra, or you can call me Kiwi, whatever is better for you! I’ve recently started getting back into the life of Roleplay. I stopped a few years back and only did 1x1’s with a friend, but now I’m missing the joys of doing it with someone new or with a group, just something to get the creative juices flowing. I have been role playing for about 10 years now, Kiora being my very first, but over the years I’ve developed a better idea of how things should go outside of the Mary Sue I created when I was 12.

I’m a big fan of any and all Roleplays whether it’s group or singles, and I love detailed plots that keep active. I work full time and will be doing over time soon, so as long as you can work around that schedule and be patient with me that would be great. The genre of the Roleplay doesn’t matter to me either; I can go from slice of life to fantasy without any issue.

Anyway, I’m going to take a peek around here and see if there’s anything I can jump into. If you’re interested in doing a Roleplay, feel free to let me know!

I'm not very good at introductions so I'll give it my best...

Hi everyone! I've been RPing for about 8 years and a friend told me about this site so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm used to doing D&D rp stuff and a few other things here and there. I really enjoy RPing when I get the chance but not many people around me do it so I guess this'll be a good place to start. So I guess here I am and I hope I can have some fun here :)

As for what you can call me... Since "oblivious" is a weird name and even dumber to type... how about "Leo"
