They also lead the city in ground breaking medical research to heal all kinds of disease. Many people rely on their products for their medical needs, and by most of the public they are a fairly good company in a sea of corrupt organizations. Unfortunately, they are just better at hiding their nasty, probably horrific little secrets.

The board of directors consist of the leaders of the various departments of the company. Everything is run by them, and they make the decisions on everything after the approval of the CEO. However, recently most have started operating independently, for fear that the current CEO would shut down their pet projects if he found out about them.

It's not much of a stretch to say, these three people hold most of the power in the company. The lead the research projects for new drugs and other things, and are
always testing something, even if said something isn't so ethical. Their words carry weight within the company, and they quite often use that to their advantage. However, it is also quite well known
none of them get along and often compete among themselves and their teams. It has led to some...accidents in the past.

David Ackerman
Originally, he was a celebrity - a well liked character on a TV show some years ago, though few today remember his acting work, they simply know him as the face of Sinclair Therapeutics. After a tragic accident that resulted in his wife and daughter being killed, he was hired by the company to be their face. The person who goes out and does all the public speaking on behalf of the company. After a few deals and few other questionable backroom discussions, he accepted.
He keeps the job to this day, although many don't know about this little history of his. Currently, many people see him as the leader of the company - and many of the board members want to set him up as the CEO as soon as possible. Some are probably going to attempt to...'deal with' the the young Mr. Sinclair in an appropriate fashion to set him up as the new CEO.

What does every large company need? A lawyer. An army of them. And good ones. Aside from these two who handle most of the day to day needs, they have quite a few more that most members of the board consult with to see if they can find any loopholes in the laws, to possibly skirt around them for their more questionable projects. Of course, they also handle any legal trouble for the company as well.

This man, 'Captain Cantrell' as most of the company board refer to him, is the leader of the Fenrir Mercs, or the Wolves of the Sinclair family, as they're more commonly referred too. Mostly, he is there for security reasons. During meetings the room is always covered heavily by armed guards who are sworn to silence as to what the people are discussing.
Of course, he also does have some say in the company, but for the most part he is only involved in constructing new buildings, or expanding or renovating existing ones. Why? Well, what better way than to secure your building than have a trained military man set it up as essentially a well fortified base if the need ever arises?
Sinclair Therapeutics has been the leader in medical science and progress for years! Even now, we continue to stride to a future for a healthier, better, you! Ignore those rumors about addictive drugs and black-market dealings!-Shareholders-
While not as big as the others, they are equally important. They are the biggest investors in the company, and quite a lot of money comes from them, which means they have just as much of a say in anything as everyone else.

Background:
Sinclair Therapeutics was started some time ago by a man by the name of David Sinclair - the great grandfather of the current Garret Sinclair, if the records are to be believed. At first, they did exactly what they said they did on their company slogan. Sinclair really did want a way for people to get the medical attention and medicine they needed. However, his son, the person who inherited the company after his death was less than a saint.
Greedy and corrupt would be putting it lightly, and he was smart about it as well. He kept up the companies friendly, customer oriented attitude while secretly setting up major, definitely unethical practices and none were the wiser about it. He kept this position until his death, and his son took over. Now his son, Garrets father, wasn't much better about it. Money was the bottom line for them, and he didn't care about at all how it was achieved. He also started investing in some questionable research practices - human gene therapies and human gene modification. Its rumored he was looking for a way to create a super solider without cybernetic enhancements before he was suddenly killed.
That was about a month ago. Now, after his oldest brother was also murdered and the second son was found to be 'mentally' unsuitable for the job, Garret Sinclair, the third in the family inherited the position, with little resistance form the board.
Currently, the direction the company is going to be taking is completely up in the air. Garret Sinclair was never supposed to take the position - the eldest was, and he wasn't educated in it like they were. Many question whether he is capable or not for the spot, but well...if you were to ask around for a bit, you'd discover rumors that someone had orchestrated the events of his brother and fathers death, and had his second brother committed to the loony bin.
With so little faith in the current CEO, most of the board turn to the charismatic, David Ackerman for their decisions, who has stated the company will continue to innovate medical practices and ensure the best possible medicine makes it to the markets at the cheapest price.

Azanel - A small red, circular shaped tablet. Medically speaking, its a relaxant - and indeed, it does its job and helps people maintain focused and calm during a task. Its relatively cheap, and one of the companies biggest products for one reason: Its high addiction rate. Of course, this isn't known at all to the general public, aside from some general conspiracy theorists, why? There aren't any currently known addictive substances in the medicine, and no other independent testing has proven this to be true. Of course, if you look at the companies little black book...you'd find a very different story. The strawberry flavoring? Yeah, that's just used to mask the addictive synthetic substance they put into it.
Side effects of prolonged use usually include muscle spasms when not on the drug, increased hyperactivity and loss of attention, and other potentially hazardous effects. These effects don't start appearing until well after someone has been abusing it for awhile, however.
Various other illegal drugs sold on the black market, and quite a few legal ones as well.
