Honestly, I don't find Emi to be depressing if I must be honest.

Is her background a little...depressing? I will agree, that is so, but I don't think she herself is a depressing character.

now...if you do want to see a depressing character, I could definitely make one who makes all of you feel depressed, then laugh at your tears :P

....yeah, gonna definitely make a familiar character now for that sole purpose :D

Chasers - Boundary of the Crimson Sky [remake]

"Yeah yeah, whatever." Katherine said, biting down on the cigarette between her lips. Ugh, goddamn it some days she hated this job. At least she didn't have many people to deal with on a regular basis. Just some shady types selling some equally shady merchandise. Or, her, selling equally shading merchandise. Not like she particularly cared that much, wasn't any of her business what people were buying and selling. As far as she knew, she couldn't get arrested anyways. Plausible deniability was always a thing. Not like anyone was gonna come looking in here at all though. She was fairly certain the shop owned by some gang boss or something.

Meh, whatever.

"Here's the money." She said, handing the man a few large bills. She honestly couldn't see the value in this stuff herself, but well, she was just the person who handled the money, and threw out any troublesome customers. Any business for selling stuff, was done with her boss. Selling prices were fixed, and non-negotiable. Her ability to intimidate people tended to help with that. The man she was doing business with gave her a pleasant smile, however, and graciously accepted the money.

"Pleasure doing business with you. And tell your boss our debt is settled, hmm?" With that, he left the store. She had no idea what he meant by that, and she didn't want to know. She wasn't in the business of asking questions anyways. Just making sure there was no trouble from anyone. At least her shift was over and she'd finally be able to spend most of the night doing abso-fucking-lutely nothing.

Well, that was her plan anyways until a slight buzzing in her head made itself known. As she grabbed her jacket from behind the counter, she sighed. Oh great, what did those jackasses in the Association want now? Better be goddamn important - she had a whole lot of nothing to do. Tsk...well, not like she could complain a whole lot. She did rather enjoy the work at least.

Well, she supposed she should get over there then. After making sure her boss new she left, She exited the rather shady establishment, and hailed a cab, giving the driver the money and directions to the place.

It took roughly ten minutes to reach the place in a cab. Probably filled with other people - and other chasers. Not planning on being sociable, she found a quiet corner of the place and sat, lighting another cigarette and caring little if she was going to be bothering anyone with it. Whatever this was, it'd have to be important.

Physical Description:
Blonde hair usually tied back into a ponytail and dull bluish-grey eyes are the things people would notice about her. Standing roughly at five foot seven, thanks to her rather athletic build she can come off as a bit intimidating to some people. Her snarky attitude doesn't help either. Most of the time, her face has some sort of scowl on it. She has a rather jagged scar across her left eye, which is artificial.

Special Skills:
Aside from having the tactical training from a lifelong military career, she has impressive physical strength and stamina as well from constant working out and exercising. Expert use with most firearms, and extremely skilled hand to hand combatant. Not to mention stubborn. Though she can't remember her training exactly, it's a bit like riding a bike.

Her artificial eye acts as a sort of information storage device. It can also automatically translate foreign written languages and can help process information, determine probabilities and give a map of the immediate area, if one is available.

Unfortunately, most of its data storage banks seem to have been corrupted recently, leaving only the basic functions.

Profession
Dishonorably Discharged Soldier/Mercenary

History:
She's been a military girl since the age of 18. Joined up as soon as she can, and easily made a name known for herself among the others for getting the job done quickly, quietly, and professionally. Unfortunately, at the same time she became rather bored by the military and its strict rules and red-tape. About the same time, she was approached by someone from a mercenary group, the 'Fenrir' company, seeking to hire her and her skills. Hesitant to accept the offer at first, she turned them down. Until she got into a fight with one of her superiors.

After that, she eagerly accepted for a chance to finally get the chance to have some actual 'fun' without the military's red tape.

She was one of their best soldiers, and quickly rose through their ranks, becoming the leader of her own small squad. What she's doing this far out here is anyone's guess, but it doesn't seem she brought any of her team with her.

Personality:
Kat, is usually pretty friendly despite her snarky attitude and somewhat hostile seeming behavior. A sarcastic jackass, some would describe her, anyone is fair game for her snark and insults. Even herself, if she does something stupid. This makes people kind of...well, they don't exactly dislike her, but she doesn't exactly have a lot of friends for this reason. Not that she really cares.

Despite the bit of shunning she receives from other people, she's not a bad person and doesn't think much of it. Mostly, she just doesn't really care much of for other people, since they don't really care much for her. She's a soldier by trade, and she follows orders, even if those happen to be...well, coldly killing everyone in a building and making sure there are no witnesses.

....even if said witness is barely even a child.

Clever and resourceful, she's quick to adapt to most situations. Has a love of alcohol and cigarettes, and can almost always be seen smoking if she can.

That color? Yeah, it's Dark Blue.

Well, it's mostly I want/kind of need to wait to see what he does with Gall before I have Livia act, I think. Whatever he would do, would probably influence what she would do next. AKA, having her spirits restrain him, then blast him out of the window if he starts something xD

So...I don't see why you couldn't. I think it would be fine, if you do. I can work with it either way, so don't worry about me too much~
