Current I just can't. This is too much. Berserk was so influential on so many things that I love. Goodbye, Miura. You'll be missed by many.

Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Small post is small, but I was unsure where else I could take that.

That, and for some reason, words are hard at the moment xD
~Syna, Mage in training~

Rauru, Nuun Highlands

Typical Knight being all...Knighty. Hiding behind some sort of...code or something and words instead of telling something like it is. It was quite obviously not under control in her opinion, or they wouldn't be trying to constantly reassure people it was under control like they were doing. That next bit though, actually impressed her a little. She assumed most Knights would try to still be all bravado and say that as long as they were around, nothing would happen. Or something like that, at least. Well, maybe Sigurd wasn't too bad then.

"Thanks, but I can look after myself." She replied with a small huff at the offer of seeking the knights out for help. "I travel alone mostly, anyways, and these rings ain't for show." She gave Sigurd a smug smirk as they walked up to the Inn, briefly flashing the ring she was wearing on her left hand. "This is a magic ring, if you didn't know. Could probably do ten times the work that oversized knife you have." She didn't wait for a reply to that, and turned and walked into the Inn.

Ugh, her feet were killing her...she needed a drink.

Totally different character that doesn't look like a child, though. Just small. I'm glad to know that the number one criteria for adulthood is not freaking out about apparently dying and being turned into another species. O_o

It's just that all the assumptions people who have been turned into lizards and cats and things are making about the age of others is frankly hilarious. And inevitably someone treating an imp like a child but being told that they're nearly 70 would be amusing.

Now, I'm not trying to start anything or something, but I'm honestly finding it a bit stranger that Ariana is assuming you have to be externally freaking out to be 'freaking out'.

Everyone 'freaks out' in different ways. Someone can very well freak out like she is. They panic. Some get snarky, defensive, or use words and bravado to mask their uncertainty. Some may become quiet, and try to rationalize things.

Point is, there is no clear definition for how one should be 'freaking out'. Everyone reacts differently to things like this. In Neix's case, she's internalizing everything. Which is bad, because at some point, she's probably going to snap at someone like she just did at Ariana.

The fact that Arianna is kinda...throwing a temper tantrum and accusing people that aren't acting like she is, aren't freaking out on some level, is kind of a childish trait. Which means, it's not to much of a stretch for people to assume she's a kid.
Post will be up in a few hours~
Sorry for the delay.

Will probably go ahead and get Syna to the Inn and stuff, so you could probably go ahead and describe the scene at the Inn, I think.
~Alianor, Knight of Silver~

Receiving no answer from the hooded man, only made Alia more suspicious. She narrowed her eyes at him from under her helmet. Still, he hadn't done anything yet and he didn't seem intent on making trouble, at least not yet so she said nothing, and replied to Ansgar.

"Better to make acquaintances now, rather than wait until we're being attacked by a lizard who wants to use our bones as toothpicks." She chuckled, shaking her head slightly. A small concern, at least, and she didn't expect everyone to be as friendly seeming as she was. She shot one last quick glance to the hooded man, but for the most part she turned her attention to two others who made themselves known. A rather...comical fellow and a rather...unpleasant fellow. She laughed a bit at Ansgar's reply to the man.

"Indeed. I'm expecting a warm welcome party any second now." She replied. "They woke all of us up with the loudest bell they could possibly find, so it'd be rude to not greet us." It was then, the sorceress' turn to introduce herself. Melissa Maris, who proceeded to sit at the Bonfire and a fairly...provocative manner. If the sorceress kept this up, she might just have to request she wear something else.

"Fate does indeed do strange things at times." She replied, though she sounded a little skeptical of that. Fate wasn't something she believed in all that much. Not since she left her homeland, at least. "Though-"

Before she could even start on her second sentence, the bell tolled again, but it seemed someone finally got tired of its constant ringing. It was smashed, followed by silence as sinkholes opened around the gathered group. Moments later, a Wyvern made its appearance. Massive wings spread wide, flying right towards the Swamp.

"Speaking of welcoming parties and lizards..." She gripped her spear, holding it at the ready.

~IT DOES ITS LEVEL BEST TO GLARE AND PULL A SCARY FACE, BUT IT CAN’T HELP GRINNING IF ANYONE PATS ITS HEAD~

Okay, good, scanning it with the pokedex was just as simple as pointing and shooting. Awesome, then. Nerds knew how to make things simple, then. More importantly, though.

~ACQUIRED 100 P FOR ENTRY: PANCHAM!~

That was it? THAT WAS IT? Just 100?! She could have made more by just mugging some poor kid. Well, stealing their lunch money rather. Fucking hell, what was this? Those nerds could pay ten times more for doing their work you'd think. Unfortunately, she didn't get much time to ponder that. She had alerted the Pancham, and a battle was quickly ensuing. For one, that surprise attack had been less effective than she had hoped. Two, the Pancham snarled - if it could be called that - and was charging right at Quill.

"Alright Quill! Show that Pancham's whose boss! Knock that Pancham right out!" Lynn shouted. A direct attack was a bad idea, in all likely hood. Fortunately for her, Quill was 100% smarter than she was when it came to tactics. Ignoring the directive to attack directly, the Sneasel would dodge to the side, sliding around to Pancham's side, letting the tree behind her do the work for her, hopefully causing the Pancham to run into it.

Lynn simply frowned at the display.

"I said attack it, Quill, not dance with it!"
