I wouldn't mind making a second Yokai if needed to fill in some spots.

No idea what they'd be though....

"Sorry, only thing around here is forests and mountains for miles. If you're looking for a desert I don't think anyone around here can help."

"I have heard rumor of a sea of sand far to the south, though, but I can't say for certain its what you're looking for miss."

"Hm, well, regardless that helps if even a little. You have my thanks." With a shake of her head, Charlotte turned and left the small tavern. Ugh, ever since leaving Astril she's had almost no luck finding anything regarding her studies. To be expected she supposed, but it was frustratingly annoying how little people even cared about. She couldn't find a single person that she could have a decent conversation with, either. Not that she was trying to say she was better than the people outside of Astril, but education was a thing many people there valued - and it seemed quite a few outside, did not.

"Ugh, at this rate I'd be better off at picking a random direction and walking." She grumbled, stepping into the cool early morning air. She had been traveling for some time now, after ending up shipwrecked on a coast not far away from here. After spending a few weeks being scared out of her mind since she had never once set foot outside Astril, she realized that despite most people there believing the world outside was filled with nothing but barbarians and madmen, the people weren't so different after all.

Still made socializing a bit awkward though.

Where would she go now though? She was out of options and leads.

Again.

She let out a long sigh, pulling her cloak tighter around her. Well, might as well see if she could find a map of the region. Maybe if she could find a traveler who knew where they were going she could tag along a bit? As much as she didn't like to admit it, she practically knew nothing of the world outside of Astril.

If standing on her human legs, Suzue reaches a respectable height of five foot seven. She has light brown hair, amber colored eyes, and is typically seen as somewhat dainty and slight of frame. As most Jorogumo tend to be, most would likely consider her to be fairly attractive, appearing to be around a young adult age. In her hair she wears a simple hair ornament, and she is a fan of simple though yet elegant seeming dresses. Her usual casual attire may seem a little outdated, or at least a bit odd by today's standards.

Six yellow and black spider legs grow from her back, able to be used as well as her other limbs. If using her spider legs for support, she can reach nearly six foot five - quite an intimidating boost, especially since she has a tendency to sneak up on people for giggles. Six, pupiless eyes can be seen on her forehead above her two 'main' ones. She has spider like fangs that extend from her top two canines, that are difficult to hide. Of course, this is not a side of her that many see unless she directly wants them too. The legs, are mostly used for defensive and maneuverability.

Suzue is not much of a fighter, especially when compared to other Yokai, and she's quite aware of her lackluster combative ability. Her skills are as one might expect of a Jorogumo, are geared more towards deception and misdirection, as most Jorogumo naturally are inclined to. Who knows, though? Perhaps she could learn alongside a cute Onmyouji one day. Her preferred method of fighting is that of sneak and non-direct attacks. She is fairly good at setting up traps to ensnare people and things using her threads. The fire-breathing spiders help too.

Shapeshifting:
Jorogumo are born with an inherent ability to shapeshift. In effect, this allows them to change from their more monstrous form to one of a beautiful women. Typically, it's used to deceive people and lure handsome young men to an untimely death. Thankfully Suzue doesn't do that. _{Any more.}

Spider Tongue:
As with most Jorogumo, she can both speak to and control lesser spiders. As spiders can often go unnoticed by people, this is a fairly good way of both gathering information and simply knowing what's going on around her. She has an uncanny ability to know quite a bit about a lot of people because of this. The spiders vary in size, and carry an extremely potent venom typically. On the extreme end of this, the ability allows her to command large, fire breathing spiders that are the size of a large dog. _{She has a tendency to let spiders make a home in her clothes}

Thread Control:
The threads of a Jorogumo are strong enough to ensnare a fully grown human with ease. She can wave these with ease, from her hands, legs, and her spider appendages. She can manipulate them with a fair bit of ease, using them to ensnare and trap foes, even Yokai. The thread is strong, durable, and make for excellent protective wear. Her own clothes are made of her own silk, and as such offer quite a bit of protection from certain Yokai. _{Also good for, ahem, other things}

Venom:
A lesser used ability of hers. Jorogumo inherently have a very potent venom that can weaken a subject over the course of a few days in small doses, ensuring that they suffer or she can inject a large dose all at once to greatly weaken any foe or human. Yokai are not immune from the venom, but depending on the type they may be resistant to it. Difficult to bite a foe directly in combat though, but being swarmed by small spiders is a good way of getting a small dose of it. _{In small doss some people might find it enjoyable}

Physical Abilities:
As far as her physical strength goes, she's surprisingly strong and athletic compared to a human. While she's nothing on super-human levels, she's much stronger than her slight frame suggests and all of her legs hold the same ability. As one might expect of a spider, she's surprisingly agile on her feet, and can climb and cling to surfaces using her legs and webbings. As well, she is a master of stealth and moving fairly silently, and makes almost no noise when moving.

Whether this is true or not, Suzue is rather mute about, but she makes no effort to hide her actual age from people. She's old. Really old. Old enough go be a great-grand mother and at times hints that she maybe even is. She never gives a clear response though, and constantly either brushes the question off or otherwise flirts her way out of it.

What she does tell people, is that she's just a bored Jorogumo who wants to 'play' with humans. Whatever that means.

The truth of the matter is a bit less friendly than she passes off, though. She's a jorogumo, after all, and they aren't known for being friendly. However, age, and perhaps meeting the right people, can even change their naturally cruel disposition.

Currently she lives in the rural area, just outside of town in an old, though well taken care of home with a friend she affectionately refers to as 'Chi-Chan'.

Personality:
Upon first glance, Suzue, is very formal in her mannerisms and tends to treat everyone with a high amount of respect and proper decorum. Some might mistake this for her being overly serious and humorless, but they would find out quite quickly that she in fact, doesn't take most things seriously. Under that initial formality, is a very promiscuous and even slightly domineering person. While she no longer takes part in the cruelty that most Jorogumo are known for, she still finds humans a little on the...'curious' side. As in, she finds them funny to play with.

That's not saying she's uncaring, quite the opposite. While she likes teasing, messing with, and otherwise making humans uncomfortable, She cares greatly for her comrades and friends, and while she doesn't like conflict she will never let anyone hurt those she cares about, even at probable cost to herself. She tends to dote slightly on people she likes, and likes being doted on herself. Displays of affection a very easy way to get on her good side. _{but that might not be the wisest choice}

Other:
Is an excellent seamstress
Can play a guitar and other string-based instruments fairly well. Can sometimes be found playing an acoustic guitar.
'Suzue Yamazaki' is the name she took upon deciding to live among humans, and isn't the name she was born with.
Is a reasonably good cook.

Alright, well, here's the spider. I think I got everything right, but do tell if there are problems. I'll get to addressing them later~

For the most part she's done. If someone wants to be her Onmyouji, do tell. We can work out the details of that and stuff. If not, I'll make her own Onmyouji later. Maybe have her gain one over the course of the RP.

Eith and Chimaera

The Chimaera led the Shellagh back into the ruined castle, the noises of the camp quickly fading once they found themselves inside of the old stone walls. For the most part, they walked in silence. The Chimaera for the most part deciding there was no room for words until their little duel was over with. She led the both of them back down into the dungeons where Miren and Katherine had previously found documents regarding Eith's condition, though instead of going towards the kennels she led the two of them in the opposite direction until the came upon a large, round chamber. Well, large compared to the rest of the rooms in the place.

"Hmm...this will do," The chimaera walked into the center of the room, turning to face her would-be pack leader. "...this place is an unpleasant one, but having one last duel here would make him happy..." She chuckled lightly to herself, her snake tail looking oddly somber in the dim light of the room. "This one will spare you a story, for now, Shellagh. For now let us see if you are worthy of command."

She took an aggressive stance as she bared her claws.

The fight, was brutal. Chimaera was not holding back, and neither was Eith. The Chimaera adopted a brutal, fast, and relentless attack strategy. She closed the initial distance between them in a mere few seconds, her powerful legs carrying her swiftly across the ground to land an easy blow on the Shellagh, sharp claws digging into the Shellagh's flesh as a stream of lava-blood poured out from the wound. As fire spilled onto the Chimaera's thick fur, she merely ignored it - not seeming to care one bit if she was burned.

It seemed for a time the two were evenly matched, but even with the Chimaera's impressive physical strength and endurance, it was not a battle she could easily win against the demonic hound. Her venom was not overly effective against Eith's fire-blood, and the hounds regeneration of flesh wounds was nigh-instant, making cutting wounds from her claws nearly ineffective.

Even so, soon both combatants were done.

Chimaera was panting heavily, burns covering quite a bit of her body as she stood at the far end of the room. Eith stood some distance away, and though she didn't look too injured the Shellagh, at least by the Chimaera's estimations, was at least hurting some, but she couldn't keep up the fight any more.

She straightened her posture, and laughed.

"Well, then, Eith of the Shellagh...You have earned yourself a Chimaera. Use this one as you wish."

Marie for the most part remained silent. By the time she was back at the camp, she had lost the wings. She still kept to herself though, deciding to still not be active in the current affairs of the others at the camp. Instead, she propped herself up on her previous seat in the wagon and just remained silent.

Luna had put her in a bad mood.

"A-ah?" Avaline's eyes brightened once again as Sol showed her how to use the mug in question. She swiped it from the humans hands, holding it in the palms of her hands as she raised it in front of her as if it was some rare treasure. "Master Luna! Master Luna!" Before Sol could stop her, Avaline slithered over to Luna who was just now coming back from wherever it was she had run off too. "Aha ah! Sol has showed me the wonders of spoons and Mugs!" She held the items in front of her, still as enthusiastic about them as she was. "I am ashamed to admit it but you humans make some interesting things, yes! Such wondrous items!"

Sorcha, meanwhile, was busy dealing with a kitten. The dragon sighed, pulling the kitten closer to her. Yes, she supposed that was a problem wasn't it? The storm drake frowned as she let the kitten vent.

"...I am not sure what to say, Little One." Sorcha glanced over to Sol. "I am sorry if you thought such a title was special. I...that is what I call all children under my care." She replied honestly. "You are not the first, and I doubt you will be the last if this stubborn old dragon refuses to die anytime soon." Sorcha chuckled lightly, though fell silent as she continued. Ah, this was a right problem that she didn't entirely feel like dealing with at the moment. The dragon let out a long sigh.

"But, perhaps I can talk to Livia about your current situation. She is the best source of information regarding both the soul and things relating to it. She could likely give some insight."

"Aha? O-okay?..." Miren was just getting more and more confused by the second. She had no idea what was going on with Katherine and Meowka at all. What she did know, she was getting little worried about Eith it had been at least ten minutes or so since she went with the Chimaera to have their little duel and - "Ah!" Speaking of, she could hear them before they came into view.

For the most part, Eith looked fine. The Chimaera though, looked more than a little roughed up though she didn't seem bothered by her wounds or the burns on her fur and body.

"Y-you're back! I-I kept some warm for the both of you." Miren greeted them with a smile before looking over to the Chimaera. "U-uhm...are you...?"

"Ah?" She smiled at Miren. "Do not worry about this one. These wounds are nothing and will heal soon enough, but something to fill the stomach would be much welcome, little rabbit."
