Bio

Hello! Welcome to my little bio.

Not much to say, really. Just a horror game protag that likes writing and playing vidya games when I'm not being chased by the cosmic forces of darkness. (I'm a security guard that works night shifts usually).

Have some dancing medjed.

Welp, this couldn't have gone better.

She was swarmed by a mob of young fighting type pokemon, nearly all the ones in the castle seeming to gather around her after her declaration. She actually hadn't expected this many to show up - and now she had to somehow pick out which one she wanted. She couldn't very well take all of them! Oh, Mienfoo and Chimchar were adorable though, and Machop and Conkeldurr was so tough looking, it was hard to decide! Before she could though, a beep from her pokedex interrupted her thoughts. Huh? A text? Oh, it was from Erika - ah, she was in still wood already? Well, might as well send a well timed reply!

"Hey hey, you ever wrestle a Pangoro? Oh man those things are tough! Fun though. Currently at Mt. Strength, be there soon!"

As soon as she finished sending the text, Ralia tugged lightly on her clothing to get her attention, pointing to the Chimchar sitting on top of a Timburr's stick.

"Eh? You want me to catch that one?" She asked, earning a nod and a smile from the small fairy type. Had it been one of the ones Ralia was playing with? Well, either way if he was good enough for Ralia, he was good enough for her! With a grin, she waded through the sea of small fighting types until she made her way to the Chimchar. "Well, Ralia seems to like ya," She grinned, Ralia waving eagerly at the small monkey like pokemon. "So how about it, wanna come with?"

Isabella followed quietly, easing her nerves back under control as she walked through the hallways. A few of her guards spared her a friendly salute and wave, but for the most part she remained impassive. The princess was quickly beginning to realize that this place was not as ostentatious or decorative as her home was. Everything seemed so...impersonal. Sharp edges. Practical, one could say. She almost felt mildly suffocated walking through here.

Once inside the room, Isabella took a few seconds to look it over. She might not have been the most attentive at times, but she did have an education and knew how to work a court - in theory. The dining hall was much like the rest of the castle. Practical and not meant decoration. Almost the exact opposite of the opulent palace that she grew up in. One could tell much about a lord from how the state of their castle - something she learned from her younger brother.

She got the impression they weren't very...'fun' people.

Isabella watched their escort leave with mild worry. The slave was a sweet girl who seemed far too nervous, and the nobles seemed far too indifferent - but she pushed the thought aside as she took a seat where it was indicated that she sit. She took a seat closest to Zavra, still feeling terrible about having just walked out.

Of course, all these thoughts of worry didn't display on her face. As Lord Hasingwrath spoke, Isabella took note of the distinct lack of guards and servants in the room. Her older brother said feasts or official meetings between nobles that didn't have some sort of guard presence could only end badly. She decided to shove that worrying thought out of her mind for now, though and focus on the table in front of them. They hadn't set out any food yet - odd, then where were the servants? They had drink set out, but it smelled strongly - like the stuff the palace smith drank instead of the sweet smelling wines she was used too.

Ah, if her younger brother was here he'd be having a field day with impish insults about this places decor and the order of things.

For a few moments, Isabella didn't reply. She took the mug of ale - it was only courteous after all - and for a few seconds simply stared at it. Ugh, the smell was appalling but she couldn't turn down their hospitality. She almost wanted to vomit.

"...Zavra," She began quietly, blushing a little from the compliment. "Is too kind. She is far better herself."

Okay, words were said and she was doing well! Yes, good good. She bought the mug to her lips, taking a taste of the strong alcohol, instantly regretting it as she was wholly unused to it. When she had been invited to a feast she thought there would be a whole crowd of people, not simply the four of them. Far less nerve wracking than she thought.
I seem to be delaying my posts a bit lately

I'll get a post up tomorrow morning, promise
"Hmm..." Charlotte walked over, taking a quick look at the symbol. "No good. This part is different from the one you have." She replied, pointing to one of the parts of the symbol. She took the item from Himeko, running her hand across the piece of cloth and studying it intently. Fairly new cloth, not old, at least from what she could tell without actually taking a sample and dating it. So then why was this related to Harena, then? It couldn't be new, if it was. It had to have been older unless someone made it recently and left it...but to what end?

Wordlessly, Charlotte took the piece of cloth with her as she walked down the aisles, scanning the shelves for any mention of the old country. History of the city, a book on math, a bestiary of sorts...and a book titled 'how to pick up fair maidens'? What was that doing here? She had half a mind to read it to see if the title was a ruse, but decided against it.

"Hm, we'll likely have to dig a bit. Look for books relating to the history of the world." Charlotte said removing a book from the shelf and thumbing through it. "Perhaps find something about runic languages or occult symbols. I can read and speak a number of dead languages so if you run across something that might need translating, do tell."

If she had told herself she'd be doing unscientific things with a non-human, Charlotte would have told you that you were crazy a week ago.

Meanwhile, Marise was waiting patiently near the front of the library. She wanted to help, but she wasn't entirely sure if she could here. History and academia were not her forte. That was her sisters. Her's was earth-based magics and politics.

"Tsk, tea sounds lovely, sister." Livia replied with a tired sigh, giving her sister a mildly playful smirk. "And who knows, maybe Odette and I have that sort of relationship." Livia teased. Odette merely blushed heavily at the thought, using Livia as a shield between her and Katherine, unconsciously pressing her rather ample chest into the smaller girls back. "Or am I not allowed to have a little fun either?" She mused, leaning into Odette. For a ghost, she could make herself relatively physical and quite the comfortable pillow. "But no, thank you Sister. I am fine. Just a bit of rest and I'll be back to normal by dinner."

"Hello..." Odette quietly greeted Katherine.

"Odette, this is Katherine...she's my sister. Katherine, this is Odette...a permanent guest here starting today, if she feels so inclined."
I'm here

Really tired
Will probably post later this evening or early tomorrow morning.

Isabella shook her head silently. She just wanted Gracie there, that was all. With a deep inhale and exhale, Isabella stood straighter, seemingly doing her best to put on a calm face and get her nerves under control again. Okay, if Gracie was with her she could do anything. Simple as that. She could do it. Isabella dusted off part of the cloak she was wearing, taking one last look at her own appearance as much as she was able too. Nothing seemed out of place, so Isabella left the room with hopefully Gracie following behind her.

"Lead the way." She quietly stated to the waiting slave girl. Isabella noticed the girls nervousness, but dismissed it for now.

~Isabella~

No? Gracie...said no? For a moment a pout that could only be described as 'adorable' crossed Isabella's face. She could understand why Gracie said that. She could, really, and knowing that Gracie believed in her was a comfort in and of itself...but she couldn't. Not now. Back in the palace she could attend feasts and balls just fine by herself because she was surrounded by people she knew. Her brothers, mother, and father...nobles she knew most of her life. She had even gotten to the point where she could give small speeches and at the last one she even gave a toast, albeit a rather shaky one.

But here? Surrounded by so many people she didn't know? That she was likely going to have to answer a near unending stream of questions for?

"Gracie..." Isabella's mouth turned into a slight frown. She didn't like what she was about to do, but she at least was self aware about her own problems and what she could and couldn't do well. "You're coming with me." She didn't raise her voice, nor was there any hostility in it, but it was firm, unyielding and she likely wouldn't be too happy taking no for an answer - but if Gracie truly wanted to, Isabella likely wouldn't do anything if she still refused.

~Isabella~

Isabella, felt terrible to put bluntly. She couldn't help it. Whenever she was put in such a situation, whether it was real or just hypothetical, she just froze. It was stupid and she knew it, but it was something she couldn't just make go away no matter how hard she tried. Now she had probably just made Zavra upset, upset the servants and guards and...well, she had half a mind not to attend this so-called feast anyways. Better if she just quietly stayed in her room for the night until they could get a move on.

She wouldn't get to rest so easily though.

The slave girl from before was standing in front of her room, offering to take her to the dinner.

"..." In...out. Breathe in, breathe out. "One moment..." She managed to quietly speak out. She had said she'd go, and she would. She just hoped she wasn't going to be the center of attention, and she wasn't going to be going without Graice. Isabella quietly walked into the room, taking a few seconds further to get her nerves under control as she gave Gracie a mildly pleading look.

"Come with me, please."
Isana Seiger

"No part of you is cute." Isana bluntly stated as she began dragging Alice towards the door until the woman decided to use her own two good legs. It was then she notice just about the only member of Justice Heart she didn't entirely hate. Ramona. An old rival of sorts, same with Elise. Unlike Elise though, Ramona was a little different. She actually made attempts to not be a complete stranger and after what had happened...well, Isana couldn't hate her. She was still pissed about the whole thing - but at least Ramona had made attempts to make amends.

"And maybe you shouldn't have been too busy being a complete degenerate." Isana replied with a light scoff, lips forming into a small smirk. It was more of a playful jab than anything particularly hostile. "We all got attacked by a monster. You didn't?" Isana questioned. Curious, if that was the case then. Not that it mattered right now. She had a...ergh, date with Alice. That she was currently regretting every second of.

"Well, whatever." Isana sighed, rubbing the back of her head. "I'm taking Alice I think we're gonna go checkout that old abandoned theater. See if we can dig anything up." After that, it was couch shopping and her sleeping in all day and doing abso-fuckin-lutely nothing if she could help it. "...and maybe dump this one off at a rehab center." As much as she didn't hate Ramona, she pretty much still hated everyone else here and had no intention of sticking around longer than she had too. "Don't get into too much trouble, because I won't be saving any of your asses this time around." With that, Isana turned to leave, a final dismissive wave towards the rest of the others in the club house.

Ah, she was missing an event raid. Ah, sweet shiny loot, why must you be so limited...
Chione

"Oh wonderful. I've never taught anyone before but it can't be too difficult." She grinned. "And yes yes, very well. I suppose I am as rested as I'm going to be." She got the sinking feeling that training with Kozue was going to be literal hell, but trial by fire and all that. She could handle it so long as she maintained focus. "So lets get going then. I shall follow your lead," She gave a nervous chuckle. "as best as I am able at the moment."

Sorcha

"Ah!" Avaline looked surprised when the doll appeared in front of her. A moving doll? How curious! "Wait tiny non-human-thing! You're adorable let me hold you!" Avaline slithered off after the doll, leaving Sorcha and Luna alone with Katherine. Eventually she'd find her way to where Sel and Meowka were teaching, barging in after the doll.

"Hmph," Sorcha gave her wings an impertinent flap. "That's miss dragon lady, Katherine...but very well, since you asked so nicely I certainly wouldn't mind teaching these students." She had taught people before, so it wasn't a stretch to say she could do it again should she put her mind to it. "If it is history I shall like to think I'm fairly good with it...since I've lived through most of it. Shall we get started then?"

Livia

"Heh," Livia laughed, casually walking over to Aetheria. "And If I told you she's a demigod would you take more interest in her then?" Livia asked simply. She wasn't quite certain of that statement herself, but Chione certainly wasn't human, or at least if she was at some point she attained divinity through some means. Not that it particularly mattered too much in the end - this wasn't the point of her 'visit'. It was more simply something to peak Aetheria's interest and possibly give her more personal motivation to do as she asked. "But that aside...I want you to keep an eye on her for me." Livia continued. "I'll compensate you appropriately if need be. As well, see if you can figure out why she's here, hm?"

Cocoa

"Ah...favorite color?" Cocoa seemed to think really hard for a moment, face scrunching up as she apparently tried to solve some extremely complicated color. "Ah! Green! What about you, Otille? Do you have one?" She asked innocently, obviously just happy to be spending time with the farmer girl.

Lyssa

"Good choice. We'll take a dozen!" Lyssa immediately said, placing the appropriate amount of money on the counter for the cookies. After a bit of waiting, she was handed a box of a dozen of the cookies Fia had pointed out, and Lyssa handed her two of them as she looked around the shop a bit longer. Lets see...sweets were only one stop on this date. What else could they do?

"Ah," She said turning to Fia. "We should get a drink or something too. Anything you want?"

Gwynn

Whatever Gwynn was expecting, it was not a retaliation. Unprepared as she was, she did not have the proper reaction time to completely dodge or block the blow. She took a step backwards, barely able to prevent Maoin's foot from slamming into her head full force. Instead Maoin's foot clipped her face, grazing across her cheek and the bridge of her nose causing her to stumble backwards, nearly falling over. Had she...had she really done that?

For a moment, seething rage filled her as she winced in mild pain, holding her face where Maoin had hit her. This damn cat - the train of thought was caught off as a warm liquid flowed from her nose, covering her hand and filling her mouth with the taste of iron. Her other hand went to her sword, then she remembered what she was here for, and restrained herself.

"Filthy animal," she grumbled coldly as she, straightened her posture, looking at her blood covered hand then back to Maoin. "You're lucky I have better things to do than waste my time with you." She'd need to stop at the infirmary after this. Had to be presentable to the headmistress at least. Oddly poised, Gwynn fixed Maoin with a gold glare.

"Next time, Maoin...you better hope your new master or whoever boots it is you lick," She turned to leave, casting a glance over her shoulder. "Is around to save your tail...Because you won't get any more mercy." With that, Gwynn left, leaving Maoin alone in the street and a crowd of curious onlookers.
