"Quite a lovely, dreary day isn't it." If someone happened to be looking, they'd have noticed a small spider skitter across the floor, right under Asahi's feet before disappearing under a table and skittering up Kaori's leg. "Thank you, Asahi." She replied in a friendly manner, taking a sip of the tea.

Like Asahi, the spider too, was mostly lost in her own thoughts while she waited for Tomoko to arrive. She likely looked quite elegant, sitting there, sipping on tea, with rain falling in the background.

Thankfully, no one could read her thoughts.

Dear gods there were so many cute girls here. In high school in general! She better start thanking whatever gods for giving her such delicious eyecandy now that she was attending highschool. Why didn't she think about it earlier? It was ingenious! And gym class! It had become her new favorite thing in the world. Aaaah, she really wanted to just...snatch a few up an-Ahem. No no, she had turned a new leaf. She had to behave herself. Couldn't cause trouble for Tomoko.

For now she'd be satisfied with knowing the color of the class president's undies.

"Ah...Tomo-chan." Setting the tea down, Kaori flashed a friendly smile towards Tomoko along with a friendly wave. "Asahi just made it. It's not half bad. I should bring some snacks next time."

"...Rude thing, aren't you." Estelle hummed, narrowing her eyes at Wisemon and completely unfazed by his attitude. She had really done nothing wrong, had she? She most certainly hadn't been rude, either. Hmph, well, whatever then. She'd get into this library one way or another at some point. She was certain it was full of very useful information, and if this hermit didn't want to do the nice thing and share, things could always be persuaded otherwise.

So, she turned to move towards the books as Wisemon ordered them to take something.

"My Queen?"

"Haaa, I don't like it. Not at all." Estelle replied with a sigh. "You, who have been utterly rude to me for know reason think to command me and ask me to help you?" Estelle's mouth turned upwards into a smirk. "I should burn this entire library down for your arrogance." She grabbed the book nearest to her - one saying something about Dianamon? She didn't care. "But since i am far more nice and benevolent than you seem to believe, I'll do it."

"Hmph. My queen we should leave. Wisemon's data seems to be becoming increasingly unstable."

...honestly none of the books seem particularly interesting for Chessy and Estelle to take. None particularly fit well with what I'm going for here.

Suppose Dianamon or Venusmon are the more appropriate ones, eh...hm.

Still fourth one down, one to - "Gweh?!" Damn, she really needed to remember how fast these little snacks were. The redhead, barely had seconds to react as she brought up her hatchet, holding it between her face and the creatures teeth hoping to catch the creature mid jump on it. She'd try to shove it off of her - in times like this having something like a pistol she could just pull out would be fuckin' amazing. Assuming it was successful, she'd make an attempt to drive the blade of the weapon into this ones head.

Hmm, seems like her 'Stronger I' skill negated the negative penalties from the class she choose. Interesting, and good. Her focus turned back to the Mana Slice in her hands. A new...symbol? The 'Pound' sign? Was it a missing number or was it something else? Ash narrowed her eyes at it. Seemed like every time she felt like she figured something out, something new reared its ugly head. With a click of her tongue, she shoved the thought aside for now, focusing back on what she wanted to do earlier.

Putting her dual cast skill to use, she formed the 'Poison Splash' spell in her claw, observing it like she had with Mana Slice. Assuming this was sort of the 'Mana Orb' version of a poison spell, she should theoretically be able to make it into similar spells and shapes as the base Mana spells, yes? Or close enough to be functionally similar. Obviously something like liquid poison may not have much cutting power, but having other spells for reference and building on it was a basic scientific step. Plus, it'd be good to make this skill far higher. If she could reach a point to cast numerous spells at the same time, that would be a very good thing.

Focusing on the Poison Splash, Ash began trying to change its shape, hopefully that Mana Shape skill coming in handy. First, she tried to mimic and copy the shape of Mana Slice into the Poison Splash, first condensing it and cutting down on excess particles in order to give her the same amount in the Mana Slice. Next, she would move the three square particles into position. Actially...would a slice even be useful? For flesh wounds, but what about armor? No, focus one thing at a time.

Next, she would attempt to force those oscillating lines into position if they hadn't already automatically connect, and finally using Mana Shape in order to try and help it maintain its shape.

Hearing the voice of Beni-Sensei momentarily caused Suzuka's fur to stand on end. She might have acknolwedged Kaguya-hime's presence, but at the moment her focus was entirely on not getting shoved back into hells kitchen.

"Beni-Sensei! I-I'd never bother master, ahahah..." Urgh, that wasn't a total lie at least. She wasn't bothering mana that much? Even if she was, wasn't like Mana would do anything about it. "Master and I are totes besties, aren't we Master?" Suzuka pulled out her phone, quickly moving to her Instagram and pulling up all the recent photo's she had taken with Mana. The one recently at Burger Wham. A few of various activities done throughout the day followed.

"See? Totes besties! Just two cute highschool girls livin' life to the-"

That was a rather questionable picture taken of Mana with her back to the camera and showing off a bit too much of her thighs and butt with the comment '10/10 thiccest booty master, change my mind', and she had just shown it to Beni-Sensei.

A cold sweat broke out on her forehead.

Ah, so this was how her JK career was going to end.

Charlotte pursed her lips, narrowing her eyes ever so slightly at Yuriko. Ugh, such a useless conversation. Flattery was useless in the grand scheme of things in every aspect. Was she hoping to gain favor with her? Perhaps on other mages stroking their egos would be fruitful.

"...right." Charlotte sighed, deciding to drop it. Momo would probably scold her if she didn't make some attempt to be civil, and that was somehow more annoying. "I suppose its one of my better pieces." She replied curtly. Well, it was certainly something to look at and she considered it adequate. "I do think it could have turned out a smidge better, though. I had to skimp a little bit on the embroidery since I had sort of rushed finished it right before I left for Fusang."

Ah, she was talking a bit too much.

"Ahem..." She looked off to the side, adjusting her glasses slightly. "I suppose I shouldn't keep you if you must find your servant, though?"

"Ngh!" Lizzie winced, feeling the gecko's teeth clamp down on her leg. On the bright side, it was right in striking distance. The bounty hunter grabbed her hatched, wrapping both hands around its grip and swung the blade right into the side of the lizard's skull.

Appearance:
Kaori often appears as a young girl, having made an effort to appear the appropriate age that is needed to enroll in highschool. Beautiful, elegant, its an effort not to think her beautiful and even then most would be downright lying about it. Dressed in elegant kimono's and other traditional clothing made from her own silk, she often appears a touch more elegant than what is found in modern society - or at least likes to think she does. When attending classes at Tomoko's behest, however, she dresses in a much less showy manner.
Personality:
In one word, Kaori is a Lonely little spider, and also kinda a huge pervert.
The Jorogumo comes off as a playful, affectionate sort with a lascivious side to her - which perhaps, is somewhat expected considering what she is. Jorogumo after all, according to mythology, seduce men in order to eat them. Kaori once again rather adheres to the mythology in this regard...the only difference with her, is well, she prefers 'snacking' on adorable little girls.

Kaori loves physical affection and affirmation of any kind, quickly falling into a somewhat listless or broody state and old habits should she be left alone for a bit too long and become lonely. As she's quite aware of this, Kaori eagerly seeks out others and attempts to...well, stealthily taking panty shot with her spiders is affection! Its definitely not Harassment, and neither is anything else she does! Flirting and calling someone's chest adorably small or lusciously big is not harassment!

For the most part, the spider is friendly and loves nothing more than being around, with, on top of, or under a cute girl. That said, it's best not to get on her bad side. While she doesn't like showing that side of her to people she's with, she's no stranger to violence and cold blooded cruelty that would make an Oni pause.

Abilities:
Jorogumo posses a number of abilities, most of less than directly combative nature. Like others of her kind, Kaori possesses a cunning intelligence and a natural predisposition to cruelty, though she at least seems to have some restraint when it comes to that.
In more supernatural abilities, Kaori has the ability to produce extremely fine, durable silk possessing strength similar to that of fine steel wire. Often used to ensnare, bind, and prevent her prey from escaping. Most of her clothing is made from it, and you'd be hard pressed to find a better fabric for making lightweight, extremely protective clothing from. As well, she can produce a potent, extremely powerful venom from her bite. While short term it works to physically weaken, lead to memory loss and loss of fine motor control, it isn't lethal unless sustained exposure is kept.
A number of spiders often follow her around, and she can both communicate and control most arachnids. Want to know what's happening around the city? Well, she can probably tell you. Such an information network was how she was able to evade public eye for quite some time.
Skills:
Cooking, cleaning, sewing, basic first aid, living as long as she has, she has picked up on a few miscellaneous skills, most notably in the domestic department. She loves spending nights out, practicing her singing.
Equipment:
Clothing made from her own silk. Durable stuff.

Brief Backstory:
Kaori has lived in the area for a surprisingly short amount of time, moving into the area some five odd years ago. Where she was and what she was doing before then, she doesn't really care for or like talking about. At some point after living so long, sometimes you just really stop caring. She comments sometimes about being from Shizouka Prefecture, but little else.

As one might expect, as soon as she moved in she started to cause mischief, doing her utmost best to hide her shenanigans and preventing from humans catching on. She wasn't greedy, after all, and had a particular method for making sure she didn't get caught.

Two girls a year. Taking them off the streets at night, no one would miss them for some time. A little venom made them not remember much, even if they escaped. She didn't eat or hurt them, no. In fact, she often let them go. Having her darling little spiders take care of evidence and making sure most didn't even recall anything, made for an easy time hiding her tracks. This went on for four years, until she started to get a little more aggressive in her trouble making.

Because of this, eventually someone starting putting what evidence was left behind together and tracked her down to where she lived. She thought it was just going to be a rather boorish onmyouji, but she was in for quite the surprise. Instead of some battle hardened mage or mystic, was what could only be described as the most adorable little girl Kaori had ever seen. Why was she out there hunting Youkai! So dangerous! If it had been any other Jorogumo aside from her, the poor thing probably would have been eaten alive.

After a brief confrontation, Kaori conceded. If the girl wouldn't willingly let her take care of her, then she'd just have to help her. So she let the girls she had abducted go, most in fairly good health and she started helping this Suzuki Tomoko with her duties, whatever they might be. Going to a highschool? After a bit of paperwork, she found herself as a new student in the school.

The only downside is that this isn't an all girls school, tsk~
