It would be cowardice in her eyes, and in the eyes of those who adored her. Surrendering to Asuka would only give the red haired menace enough fuel to light the searing flames of Tohru's downfall. Still, with the resurgence of Chizuru's true murderers, surely Asuka's anger towards the girl had subsided. Wincing a little, Tohru gathered up her broken practice sword. She would need a new one anyways. "I guess I'll have to grin and bear it then. Right, Rin-san?"

Her blush was a tad more evident at the mention, her hand upon her lips as a soft giggle she gave. ~"True, father is always searching for the perfect husband for me, but I could care less honestly. The man I desire is not one of wealth in materialism but wealth in heart, if that even means something."~ The smile she returned to Max, although a tad languid. She shook herself out of it however, ~"So, Maxwell, are you nervous? It is graduation after all. Who knows what our futures may have in store?"~

Alone she stood in the midst of the garden, ruined by the battle earlier. The gardening club would certainly not be happy with their rose bushes pruned to mere sticks, but still, Tohru survived, and so had Rin. She turned to the girl but with a genuine smile. "I suppose I should probably see to these wounds, before...." But then it hit her. She had just realized it was already sundown. Dammit, how could I forget! My duel with Hanazono-san!" But could she even stand against a master swordswoman such as Asuka in her condition. It took all she had to even face Kaname, and the only reason she survived that was Asuka intervening. As a Prince, she had her honor to uphold, yes, but how could she even hold a sword in her hand, let alone endure against a woman of Asuka's skill?
