As a holy paladin, I can't say for certain PrinceAlexus is going to be smighted, but don't be surprised if you find him with a mace in his face.

Well they almost had him, the slippery devil he was. One quick grasp of the youngling's hand and she yelped drawing her hand away from her death grip on his greasy hair, Rebecca scowling at the beast while keeping him trained in her sights. His retort, pretentious at most, the woman, still in disbelief that she had to crawl all over the bastard just to get his guard down once, seething on the inside with the utmost displeasure to his snide remarks, even the rude gesture he issued to shoo them away like bothersome mosquitoes.

~"If you think we're just going to scurry away because you defeated us, then you're an even bigger fool than I had you pegged for."~ Her snarky comment delivered with the telltale click of the gun's hammer being thumbed back. ~"My beloved and I are not leaving until you've given us everything. Who were the major players of the three families, what sordid affairs did they have their filthy hands in, and just who the bloody hell was targeting all three?"~ Then, something caught her eye, a brief glint of light, garnering her attention to...something in his ear. Dammit. There it was, proof that even if the did pump him full of bullets...he would just brush it off as a mere scratch from two incensed vampires. Rebecca smirked, lowering her weapon and snickering to herself, more or less mortified by not realizing it before. "Mistress?" Camille's brow furrowed, once more her .45 aimed dead center on the back of his head. "What the hell are you doing?"

~"Ah, so it would appear."~ She mused shaking her head, still that confident grin she wore even after learning of her tactless error. ~"You're immune to silver, huh Vladdy-boy? Quite a rarity, but it also means even if we did intend to kill you...there simply would be no reason for us to gun you down. I'm afraid we're carrying the wrong equipment to get rid of you. So, you've won this one, you smarmy prick."~ Back into her holster her gun went, a mental slap of her hand to her face, Good show Rebecca, good show. Not only did you debase yourself for this bastard...you can't even kill him. Even so, I'll find this one's Achilles' Heel...and have him groveling before my feet

~"Camille sweetie."~ She sighed, calling to the girl. ~"Lower your gun from him. All those bullets will do is just ruin his nice clothes. And we wouldn't want that, now would we Vlad?"~ That last snarky bit added with a heated glare towards him, a look that indeed said without a single word...she would kill him one day.

~Present Day...~

How long has it been....

That is what she had wondered in her nostalgic trance, eyes, languid and mournful, transfixed upon the picture of Maxwell and their dear friends, the very same she had kept all this time.

She reached her hand out, slowly to touch it, but then...she drew it back, a bitter sigh crossing her ruby lips. ~"The past is simply that....the past. I can no longer change it..."~ Outside the dressing room door, faintly she could hear the audience awaiting her, their constant chatter and anticipation as they waited for the scarlet beauty to grace the stage, and their doting eyes, once more with her magnificent, larger than life persona.

Two years, that is how long it has been, two years pushing her way through the adversity, the strain and the struggle, to make it here.

Daniella Reindheart
, a name that could be heard all over the city and soon...the entire world, a voice that captivated audiences upon gracing every stage and transistor radio. Yes, she was a star, a bright and shining star at that. For just the ripe young age of eighteen, she had done pretty good for herself....but...of all the promises she had kept for that span of time, to become a singer as great as her dearly departed mother, to rise above the ranks to stardom...one...she had broken.... her promise to forget the past.

"Miss Reindheart, it's time." The stage manager gathered her attention from her reflection in the vanity, a brief moment to make sure her hair and makeup were perfect, and that her voice would be up to par for this night. Then, with another sigh, she stood from the vanity and made her way over. ~"Wish me luck."~ On her way out, a sly wink she gave to the lad. And just like that, the mask was on.

No one wanted to see Daniella, the broken, miserable woman. No, they were here to see Daniella, the scarlet beauty, the songbird of the city, their precious, coveted gem. So that is what she gave them, a false, alluring smile painted across her face, sparkling emerald eyes that only held a fictitious glow, and a charisma of a woman who thought she was on top of the world, high above the heavens, instead of festering and writhing in the torment of her personal Hell.

The curtains drew back, the blinding glare of the hot spotlight hitting her so sudden, yet not a cringe or wince she gave, elegantly sauntering across the hardwood stage, tenderly clasping the microphone in her frail, dainty fingers, a tempting smirk crossing her luscious lips, then...the delivery, ~"Hello my darlings, did you miss me?"~

The crowd cheered, applause all around with her sultry voice echoing throughout the concert hall, a few whistles and cat-calls here and there from some of the rowdy sailors and soldier boys up front, indeed enamored with such a femme fatale. ~"Thank you, thank you all. You're very sweet."~ Softly she giggled, a small blush emanating from her pale, porcelain cheeks. ~"I think me and the boys in the band have one more song left, if you would like to hear it."~ They all cheered their loudest, one final song to wrap up this wonderful evening, one final chance to hear that beautiful voice of hers.

To the band behind her, an ensemble of fine, talented musicians, she gave a nod and a wink, signal for them to begin playing.

The music, an intimate, tender melody, a perfect composition to accompany her vocals. A deep breath Daniella took...and then...

@Dmessenger Noted. Will be getting a post in soon-ish. SAW is on right now so...yea.
@Carlsberg

"You better, or I might have to bite you." A little nip of Jen's earlobe as she whispered in her ear, her heated breath cascading against the girl's skin. She was starting to warm up to the idea of getting this girl in bed. If not that, then maybe a quiet alleyway with her back pushed against the wall.

Her licentious gaze met with Jen's, an equally lustful smile shared between the two.

Then the race kicked off, the roar of the engines like shockwaves crawling up her legs. Damn, between that and Jennifer, it might be Liz having the problem of keeping her hands to herself.
@Carlsberg@Dmessenger

It was starting, engines revving loud as the racers took their positions, ready to light a fire across the dry concrete of the storm drain.

Liz shrugged; she didn't really know how this race was gonna turn out, or who was going to be the victor. Her main concern was the cops didn't show up and bust them, killing her buzz for the afternoon.

She had only seen a few races, but they were still exciting as hell.

A heavy blush overtook her face, painting it red upon hearing those libidinous comments once more. She couldn't deny she would definitely sleep with Jen, but it was a tad intimidating how...forward she was.

"Eh..." Lightly she shrugged her shoulders again. "I think I'll stick around and watch the race. Besides, the excitement, the danger..." A rather devious smirk across her lips as she turned to Jen, purring in her ear. "It really gets my engine revving." Hey, if she was gonna be so forward, Liz might as well follow suit.
@Carlsberg@Dmessenger

She smiled back at Jen then turned to the guy she pointed out. "Sick ride." She said looking over his car. Dude must've put a lot of work into it Liz thought. Definitely looked like it would smoke this other guy's whip in nothing flat. And yeah, now that she thought about it, why not stick around?
@Dmessenger@Carlsberg

Just at that sly wink, she felt her face grow hot. A small smile crept across her lips as she decided to hop the fence and make her way down to the riverbed, stumbling a little when her feet made contact with the concrete.

"Hey." She greeted Jennifer, actually quite happy to see her again. "I'm...sorry about earlier
"
She apologized before looking over at the guys, namely the one with the baddest looking car there. "Friends of yours?" She asked Jen raising an eyebrow.
@Carlsberg Maybe just see her but not hear her. I'm kinda suspecting she's not really that close to where Jen is.
@Carlsberg

These days, twenty bucks wasn't much, but it was enough to help her get by. True, she could have made more if she was a whore or a dope dealer in this god forsaken city, but if there was one thing Liz was never going to do...it was sell her soul to this rotten place.

She sighed, walking along the train tracks back to the smog and filth of the inner city, her guitar slung over her back and the cash she made today stuffed in the pocket of her frayed and tattered skinny jeans. That should be suitable for more food, and maybe a bottle of Jack for her friend Mike.

Down on the storm drain below, where the river once flowed wild and free before urbanization raped nature and defiled her beauty, there seemed to be some sort of commotion, a bunch of cars, street rods and amped up classic muscle from the looks of them. The illegal street racing circuit was big here in this city, that much Liz knew. From time to time she did frequent some of the races. They were exciting, the adrenaline rush, the feel of raw horsepower just inches away from you as it screamed by.

Her face was pressed against the chainlink fence, a curious gaze. Then...she spotted someone out of the crowd. Was that...her?

"Jen?"
