No one saw it coming. People had always thought Humans May not be alone in the galaxy, but by 2049, without any proof, most people just called belief in aliens crazy. Clinging to the old ways. Technology had advanced over the last few decades. Cybernetics have become legal, but heavily regulated to prevent cyber terrorism. Bioengineering and Cloning has since become legal, but is still in its infancy. All that aside, the world isn’t what it was. Everyone has a story of where they were when they arrived. Four years ago. The 12th of April, 2054. The first wave hit the hardest, because we were caught unprepared. First, there were impacts globally. Glowing white steaks coming from the sky. They bypassed every defence we had. We didn’t even know they were coming until the first one hit the ground. The impact itself wasn’t much, but it was the fallout that got most people. Each device that fell to Earth emitted a pulse. The effects were catastrophic. Each pulse caused a different effect, and each was unpredictable. Later this technology would come to be known as the Chaos Drive, and become instrumental in turning the tide of war, but that wasn’t three years. The Chaos Drive changed the earth. Humans no longer had the home ground advantage as they were hunted by aliens. The laws of physics no longer acted as they should around the drop sites. However, Humanity doesn’t give up. We didn’t give up. Two years ago, a group of people managed to get a military installation back online. They formed the Crisis Control Unit. The CCU began researching on a way to give Humanity an Advantage.
Race: Cambion Gender: Male Age: 427 Psychological Evaluation: Sylox is an interesting person. Son of a Demon, raised by a witch, has led to Sylox having an odd disposition to other supernaturals. He doesn’t fear death, and isn’t afraid to risk other people’s lives to get results, often to the dismay of his colleagues. One thing that most people notice, is that he doesn’t seem to take anything seriously. Believing the sole purpose of life is to have a good time. A trait he seemingly got from his father. He also developed a penchant for magic. He got this from the woman who raised him. Now he uses Magic to solve nearly any problem he comes across. Using for the most menial of tasks, just show it off.
Background The story of Sylox, like most stories starts with his birth. Actually, it started about nine months before his birth. His mother, Lois King, made a deal with the Devil. Well, not the real devil, but rather a greater Demon known as Graz’zt. The deal was she would give him a son, if he gave her eternal life. The deal was struck, and Sylox was conceived. Then, the next week, she made a deal with a Witch offering up her first born Son. Sylox was never told what his birth mother got from the deal, but she never had to work a day in her life after that.
Then along cake little baby Sylox. The look on the Witch’s face was priceless when she realised the baby was of demon blood. What ensued was a custody battle, the likes of which hadn’t been seen before. A greater Demon vs a Witch fighting over who gets to keep the child. Meanwhile Lois had left. Leaving the two supernatural forces to fight it out.
An agreement was reached. The child would be raised on Earth, by the Witch, as was promised. Since the Demon’s deal didn’t mention custody. However, Graz’zt managed to get the kid every second weekend. Was it fair? No. But life wasn’t. At least the Witch prevented Graz’zt using Sylox as a gate to allow him up to earth.
Thus, Sylox was raised, being taught the Mystic Arts by the Witch who raised him. What was interesting was spending every second weekend in Hell. Mainly because it wasn’t terrible. Graz’zt looked out for his Son during his time in Hell, which led to Sylox actually enjoying his time there.
Combining Demonic and Arcane magic was a task in of itself. An interesting ordeal. He studied it in his own time starting back when he was around sixteen. The first couple times it got a little messy. Letting more than a few lesser demons up onto Earth. He learned though. Four hundred years had given him time to practice.
Training(if applicable): Trained in Witchcraft by his mother Trained in Demonic Magic by his father Trained in the use of Blades by Demons in Hell Taught the art of Gunslinging from Doc Holiday Military Training
Relevant Experience(if applicable): Spent every Second Weekend in Hell Served in both World Wars Served as an Exorcist for several years Is responsible for keeping his Dad in Hell
Notes:
Greater Demons cannot pass onto Earth without a bridge. At least not on any meaningful way. While there are many theories about how to allow a Greater Demon full access to Earth, only one remains tried and test. A child of said demon. Hence why greater Demons are so willing to make deals for birthing them a son. The combination of a Demons own ‘Font’ and a human soul creates the perfect bridge for summoning a Greater Demon. This isn’t to say that through elaborate sacrifices it can’t be done, just a child of a demon is easier. However, there is a way to prevent the Cambion from becoming a bridge, and that is with a Demon Mark. Developed by Witches and Fae working together, the mark branded on Sylox’s back, and prevents Graz’zt from crossing over to the mortal world.
Sylox’s Weapons of Choice are dual sub machine guns.
Name: Quentin Truehorn Nicknames/Alias: Q Age: 16 Gender: Male Nationality: Australian Hometown: Cairns Date of Birth: 28/10 Appearance: Height: 178cm Weight: 69kg Status: Legacy Weapon of Choice:
Magic: Body Modification. A specialised form of magic, that has evolved from Truehorn magic. Instead of applying a simple buff to himself, Quentin can modify his body. Allowing him to increase nearly any physical attributes he wants, and eventually alter his physiology on a molecular level. Strengths: Quentin's main strength lies in melee combat. Specifaclly utilisng acrobatics, with raw physical strength to strike hard from many different angles to keep his enemy off gaurd. He is hard to phase, and will rarely waver from his course. Weaknesses: Using his ability hurts. It hurts a lot, and requires concentration to change an attribute. Howver, once it is done, its effects last as long as he remains awake and lucid. Fears: Not being strong enough to save his friends and kill demons. Personality: Quentin Truehorn would typically be called a good guy. He cares about his classmates, and offers his assitance when people look like they need it. He has quite a pressense, both on and off the battlefield. On the battlefield, he utilises his abilities to give him a larger than life pressence, taking all the attention from the demons, to allow his friends to get out unscathed. He often uses his abilities in private, as to not show that it causes him pain, so as to hide his weaknesses from his friends, so they can count on him. Likes: Helping people. Killing demons. Guitar. Dislikes: Pessimism. Demons. People who take life too seriously. Backstory: Taught the value of the Truehorn name from a young age, Quentin was raised to hunt demons. Trained into the habit of enhancing his physical abilities each morning as he awoke, so he was ready for the day ahead. Then, typically he would train for a couple hours before religiously studying the Demon Book. When he wasn’t doing either of these things, his parents encouraged him to explore other interests. He developed a knack for the guitar. His life wasn’t particularly hard. His parents cared about him, and tried to raise him right. They did a pretty good job. Now, enrolled in the Death School, he can finally make his parents proud. Hobbies/Interests: Playing the guitar, acrobatics and fighting Other:
Classification: Personal Transport (Corvette) Length: 34.00m Width: 33.00m Height: 15.00m Armament: Dual Blaster Cannons facing forward, and one facing backwards. Defences: Deflector shields, sensor jammer Fighter Hangar: n/a Support Craft Hangar: n/a Manoeuvrability Rating: Very good Speed Rating: Very Fast Hyperdrive Class: 0.7 (primary) 10 (backup)
Standard Features:
Shadowskin. A matte black finish of light and sensor absorbing material that was applied to armour to increase its stealth capabilities.
Sensor Jammer. A type of device capable of blocking or fooling sensors. This could effectively cause a ship to go unnoticed by any possible observers, and also to prevent an attacker from gaining a weapons lock on the ship.
0.7 Class Hyperdrive. To go fast, quick enough to outrun standard imperial ships.
Reserve power cells. In case something goes wrong.
Small common space & kitchen. It is uncertain how long someone will be aboard such a ship, so amenities have been supplied.
Furnished living quarters for 2. In case the Jedi Shadow has a guest or is working with a partner. The living quarters can be locked using a specialised code, effectively turning a living quarter into a cell.
Refresher. A bathroom, so the Jedi Shadow can remain clean, and relieve themselves.
comm suite. So the Jedi can remain in contact with the Council. It is encrypted to prevent the Empire from intercepting the transmissions.
Exo-suits for 2. To allow the Jedi shadow to operate in hazardous environments, such as the vacuum of space.
Advanced Features:
Thrust Trace Damper. A stealth device used to help conceal the presence of starships by capturing the exhaust gases from a ship, and waiting for them to cool before expelling them into space.
Force Stealth Augmenter. A device designed by the Jedi Shadows, and produced by Jedi Mechanics to enhance a Jedi’s Force Stealth capabilities, extending them to the whole ship.
Force Linked Onboard Remote Control. A device that allows a Jedi to pilot the Ship from anywhere within the ship. Allowing for a lack of conventional controls. While the responsiveness and ease of use are best while seated within the ‘cockpit’ the Jedi can leave the cockpit to perform other duties aboard the ship.
Strengths: One of the best Hyperdrives in the Galaxy - The Hyperdrive equipped to the CL-43 is one of the best in the Galaxy in this era. It has achieved this through excessive use of Mechu-Deru by Jedi Mechanics during production. The drive itself is technically a class one, but modifications have been made by Jedi Mechanics, to allow a force user to utilise their Force Speed to essentially overclock the Hyperdrive, allowing it to reach a Hyperdrive rating of 0.7 for short bursts. Stealth - The CL-43 is designed around stealth. Utilising several advanced stealth technologies to make it extremely hard to detect. Unless you know its there, it can be very hard to detect. Though, if you know what you're looking for, there are some strategies to detect the ship. Namely, the pilot cannot use Force Stealth to hide the ship during Hyperspace travel, meaning Trained Force Users can detect it as it drops out of Hyperspace. For non-Force Wielding individuals, magnets or gravitational fields are good ways of detecting the ship, if you know how to calibrate your sensors to look for it.
Weaknesses: Locked Weapons - Unlike most ships of this size, the weapons can not spin. The weapons are locked in place, requiring the piolet to move the whole ship to aim the blasters. Shielding Technology or lack thereof - The shielding for the ship is rudimentary at best. While it does possess Deflector Shielding, it is really only the bare minimum required to survive in Hyperspace. The design of Cl-43 is focused more around sneaking around an enemy ship, rather than engaging in direct confrontation. Force Linked Onboard Remote Control -While the technology itself could be seen as an advantage, as it allows a single pilot to in theory perform multiple jobs on the ship at the same time, but for most, such multitasking leads to error. When not in the command chair, the controls are sluggish at best, and downright unresponsive at worst. Trying to pilot the ship requires concentration. It is damn near impossible to do any practical piloting if there is an intruder boarding the ship, that the pilot has to fight. Additionally, the security on the technology is pretty weak. It has no way of knowing which force user is the owner of the ship. Thus, having multiple force users on the ship can lead to dramas, as they both put in conflicting commands. Experimental Hyperdrive - While the Hyperdrive is very fast, it is still in its early phase of development. Sometimes it doesn't activate when needed, and can easily overheat if used at 0.7 for extended periods. Additionally, to run at 0.7, it requires the Jedi Pilot to focus, through the force. This has the added downside of giving the ship a largely "Force Signature" while in hyperspace. Making the ship easier to detect while in Hyperspace if it is running at its maximum.

Age: 27 Branch: Sorceress Skills: Guitar, making cocktails, hunting witches and supernals Magical Ability description(If sorceress): "" - Robert Hatch's ability is derived from music. The ability, which he has coined, 'Solo Warping,' is Hatch's ability to invoke magical effects by playing the guitar. He tends to focus on boosting his allies, while weakening his enemies. However, he can summon various offensive effects, such as lightning. While Solo Warping is Robert's main magical ability, it is not his only one. Non-standard gear:
Robert's weapon of coice is the Gun-Tar. Part gun, part guitar. He got special consideration to wield this instead of a normal rifle, because the abilityt to carry a guitar into combat without having to carry more gear was very usuful since it was the root of his magical ability.
The Party Rocker Armour (or PRA!) is a custom suit of armour. Reinforced with magic, to protect him from curses and hexes. It is also enchanted to prevent it from being manipulated by magic. Robert has painted it brioght colours to fit with his aesthetic.
Physical description(images or written, I am fine with either): Biography: Robert Bently Hatch, has gone to a great effort to brand himself as the Rocker. Rob, as he casually goes by, was raised predominatly in small, mobile settlements of humans. HIs parents had raised him to respect human life, and his mother (who was a witch) was the magical protector of the community he was raised in. He deleoped his gift at a young age, when he turned to guitar as a creative outlook to help escap from the disaster of the world. When he started playing, the building started to shake. His mother started to teach him how to control his gift, and soon he was playing shows for the other residents of the community, using magic to ease their worries.
When GRAM came knocking, because they had heard about his mother, they wished to recruit her, but she wanted to stay with the people she protected. To help the people he had grown up with, and let her mother stay, Rob showed off his ability, and offered to join GRAM as a Warlock. Throughout his training, he started focusing on rock music, and became somewhat of an entertainer to the other troops and the general populace. This didn't stop him going out on missions with troopers though, and often troopers looked forward to going on missions with him, because his ability makes the Troopers stronger. Other Anything that doesn't fit): Is somewhat of a rockstar within GRAM.
Zienaknuen laughed. "Detention?" He found this whole thing hilarious. The Vatican had sent him to some school for higher education, and the only teacher he had met was barely five years older than him and had given him detention. "I would be insulted that you think you can give detention in an institute that teaches people of older than eighteen. If it wasn't so funny." He said laughing. "Detention." He said again as he turned around, trying to stifle his laughter. Sighing as he finally got the last of the laughter out. "I mean, I shouldn't be laughing. Being a legal citizen of the Vatican and Rome means you simply lack the authority to imprison me." He said with a smirk. "Oh, this is rich." He said turning his back on the teacher. He admired Angel, but she needed to learn how to stand up for herself. Turning back to the teacher. "So, you are aware I am an adult. I have to inquire into what exact qualifications make you qualified to be a teacher." He turned to face Angel. "Come on." He said to here, offering his hand. Looking back to the Teacher, "He's all bark and no bite."
