"We all die one-day Princess. How do you want to be remembered?" Deo asked. "As a coward who let their people die because you were too busy hiding?" His voice stern, but carrying the meaning. "Or as a Hero, who died fighting for what she believed in, alongside comrades?" The ultimatum was placed. The only reason she didn't know what to do, was because both options were bad, but one had to be done.

EDIT // Should probably mention that around half of his body is Cybernetic, but it functions the same as a Normal Human. It is calibrated to the strength and reaction times of a normal human as it was all installed for "civillian" use. It is largely to provide chracter growth down the line when he can get it upgraded.
"Ok, so let me get this straight," Deo said with a stern expression. "The only reason these Goblins are ransacking your Kingdom is that you won't marry him?" He frowned and placed his right hand on the bridge of his nose. Inhaling deeply. "Am I the only one who sees how ridiculous that is?" He asked no one in particular. "I mean I'm all for defending the crown, but my duty is to the people of this land. Just like you princess." He drew his axe and held it out for her to take. "The way I see it, you have two options. Get out there and fight, lead your people. Be a ruler that the people will look up to, and gladly follow to their deaths..." Deo said. At this point, he wasn't sure he would still be Knight's Captain tomorrow, but he wasn't sure there would still be a kingdom either, so he was taking charge. "Or you can Marry the Goblin."
Deo managed to get a hold of the General. The Thunder Claw's orders were simple. Keep the princess safe, and kill as many goblins as possible. So, Deo devised a plan. albeit a simple plan. All Aerial Calvery plans really boiled down to one thing. Hit them hard and hit them fast. "I want five men at the castle main gate," Deo said, determination in his voice. "Another five will move through the city, funnelling them to the gate. I want three dragons on each side, ready for a pincer manoeuvre, with two ready to charge forward into the mess. The last soldier, with me. Figure the roles out amongst yourselves. Andrion, stay as overwatch. Run this operation for me until I get back."
It was a standard kill box strategy. The type of thing they teach you in the first year of battle school. It really boils down to teamwork.

Deo Bearrider banked his dragon out of formation. Another knight followed him. HE flew over the castle wall. He pulled a barrel roll just as he passed the wall, to a cheer from the guards stationed on it. The return of the Thunder Claws heralded a turning of the tides of war.

Stones cracked, as the weight of the mechanical dragon set down. Deo dismounted and ordered his mount to remain on guard. The other soldier also dismounted, but instead of following Deo, who entered the palace, remained outside.
Deo was shocked by what he saw within the Palace. Dead goblins a handful of soldiers, and cowering Nobles. None of this was good. "Princess," Deo said as he spied the Princess, and approached her. "Is this all that's left?" He questioned. "The General is leading a small resistance near the city limits, but he doesn't think he will last long. If he falls, we will surely follow."
Deo Bearrider and the Thunder Claws were returning to the kingdom. They had been away on a mission to deal with bandits attacking supply caravans to the East. It was short work for the Aerial Calvery Unit, but it had taken them away from the capital longer than expected. Coming over the horizon, the riders of Mechanical Dragons didn't take long to see something was very wrong. Deo was riding point and was first to notice the smoke. "Something is amiss." He muttered to himself. The rest of his soldiers realised pretty quickly. "Andrion, what do you see?" Deo asked. As the unit's best sniper, Andrion's musket had the best targeting gem, allowing him to see farther than the others.
The Sniper shouldering his weapon frowned. "Goblins." Deo frowned at this as well. "Looks like they got most of the town infested.," Andrion continued. "Ok, we need to set up and fortify the resistance." Deo turned to his unit. "We are gonna save the drinking and merrymaking until we save the town. I know it's not ideal, but it's what we signed up for." He turned back to the city which was fast approaching. "Andrion, I want you up top. Keeping overwatch." The sniper's dragon pitched up, moving higher than the rest of the unit.

Deo touched the sending stone on the back of his dragon's neck.
A sending stone is a magical stone, that allows telepathic communication with an individual. It is only one way and a little unreliable if the other user doesn't also possess one. He was mentally searching for someone who could tell him what was going on. Specifically the Princess or General. If the General was alive, he would no doubt be with the Princess or leading an attack on the Goblins, and he needed his Unit at either of those locations.
I guess I'm trying to ask, is there an area where fighting between humans and goblins is mainly happening. Like a field with each side having a camp on one side?
Probably better to ask, where are the goblins, and what are they doing?

EDIT// I guess what I'm getting at is the initial plot lends itself to both sides set up a blockade, and not really attacking each other until a decision has been made. I was wondering if it had escalated to the Goblins attacking or have the humans launched their own attack on the goblins?
@Vampiretwilight
I know. Just a quick question.
How far into the war are we? Is there open hostility between Goblins and Humans? Is there a front? Are there currant militry operations currently outstanding?

Zir Go stopped when she said to wait. "Odd that you have to clarify Jedi. So, who have you killed?" The little gyro wheel astromech rolled up to Zir and beeped at him. He bent over to speak to it. "What do you mean the grav plate shifted when she moved our ship?" Some more beeps and chirps. "I mean gravity isn't super important..." He was cut off by a string of beeps. "Right, YOU need gravity to move around." He corrected himself. He turned to the woman who had seemingly misaligned his grav plating. "Your friend you're visiting doesn't happen to be a mechanic, does he?" The problem with grav plating was really less to do with comfort, but he would have to rewrite the hyperspace calculations to account for it, which he didn't really want to do.
