SCP-8127 [EUCLID CLASS]
It is unclear what exactly SCP-8127’s anomalous properties are, having only been contained two years ago, there is still much study to be done.
SCP-8127, self titled Taphios, has been observed channeling some extra-dimensional energy as well as seemingly possessing the ability to displace objects.
SCP-8127 has been cooperative, making containment significantly easier. They claim they could escape if they wanted, and are staying only because “Free food and lodging is hard to pass up in this economy” but there is no evidence to support they could actually breach containment.
@Sanity43217 Just gotta change the background character, doesn't need to be somebody tied to your hero or with similar powers. I need some randoms LOL. And JL Dark wasn't a thing yet, just a few of the groups from around the world in the early 90's. I'd put him in JL Europe. Daemon Hellstrom was a favorite back in the 90's too so I'm looking forward to this!
@NubianLegend Booster Gold often had corporate sponsors so it's not out of the realm for DC. Every now and again Lex Luthor will sponsor one or more heroes.
@Bounce Sent you some ideas on Discord! I generally write out GL's cause of how OP they can be, but there's a few options in DC with similar moves and power sets.

Lauden re-entered the scene having enjoyed his brief nap. He sat quietly next Anastasia. Peeking at her drawing. “Excellent bone drawings.” He said to her. “Though you lose points for anatomical accuracy. If bones were arranged like that in a person they wouldn’t be able to walk.” He added in a playful tone.

“Yeah alright.” Lauden said as he took a step back. “I don’t understand the rules either, but I know better then to tempt fate and try and break them. We got a pretty good set up here,” He said to the guard. “Barring a few exceptions,” Lauden side eyed Sabriel. “I’d like to keep it that way.” With that he stretched his neck a bit and surveyed the room. “Well, if the most of the yelling is done with, I’m gonna go try and have a nap before breakfast. If anyone needs me, I’ll be laying in the dark of room. If you don’t need me, don’t bother me.” He said with a slight bow.

“I wouldn’t exactly call it good.” Lauden responded to Dr Gate as he rubbed some sleep from his eyes. He watched the yelling continue as he frowned before turning to Dr Gate. “Say, with your teleporting gimmick, you reckon you can find me a corner far enough away in the facility that I won’t hear this yapping?” He asked as he gestured at the screaming match.
He paused for a moment. “I do apologise that because of my particular dietary abilities, they get stingy with snacks. The snake said it was something about not wanting me springing up any new abilities. I know you enjoy your snacks.”

Both sound intriguing. I do have a Weird West itch that needs scratching. Though the seven could be fun too.
Being awoken by whatever nonsense Sabriel was up to was pretty par for the course these days. That didn’t make in any better in Lauden’s eyes though. Not that he was sleeping peacefully at the time. What little sleep he did manage to get was often plagued with nightmares. Hyper realistic dreams of being trapped back in that endless desert of ash. He awoke in a cold sweat to whatever commotion was going on with the other hounds. Lauden out a disgruntled sigh, he got dressed before heading to the common area to see what the racket was.
