Bio

Role Play Preferences:[/b] Pretty much everything except playing other characters and most slice of life plots. Elastic on most shit.

Fandoms: Silent hill, Homestuck, Bioshock(1-2) and pretty much all of HP lovecraft's stuff.

Personality: Ambiguously ?????????????????.

Favorite Homestuck characters: In order: Eridan, Karkat, gamzee, John.

Hate kanaya and Jade.

My Homestuck class: Bard of Void

Likes: Scented Candles, Writing, RP'ing-in almost any form really. Even if I haven't tried it before- Pixel Art, Making things period, Dressing up in my mad mass. Talking to folks. <3 that understand what I say all the time without me having to tame my tongue.

Dislike: Political talk-light prods for opinions are fine though if private- Being tied down. Talking about myself too much. Playing party therapist, Edgy shit.

Pretty approachable, most of the time I'm all fine with, motherfucking. dancing down a door way to someone else grounds to chill. I tend to either be chilling or drilling the oil out of the works so random absence or silences are a normal.

Sorry, brother. You got cake in a concept but I get the impression you're not drawing enough from the background/race your character can have. The nature of a revive is a lot more history and symptom of growth based-due to living/and dying so long- With so much to drawn on I'd need to see a good bit more personality reflected from that.

I'm going to have to say no. I'm sorry I took all the, motherfucking. clocks and watches getting back to you.

@MonstrousMan

I'm still waiting on your changes, my demonic digital denizen.

A good example is Dragonmancer race. He has straight forward advantages and straight forward disadvantage.

but on suggesting what your character might have.

1: they can't talk. They can only normally communicate via writing. If they can talk via chemicals and scents, it would do nothing to other races except. Maybe smell bad.

Maybe one of the disadvantages is that you got to buy modded equipment that lets him talk artificially. A mute motherfucking alien assassin who later on has a mask or helmet for talk might fit the dark and dirty mood you're going for.

You can still get an intimidation bonus but you'll have to use body language and actions a lot more.

If your character is big and has a tail, a natural consequence would be in tight spaces like narrow hallways they get a penalty to dex and balance because it keeps bumping into things or even other players.

If your blood has such a rapid reaction to air. Maybe it reacts while exposed in his wound too. Perhaps open wounds do more damage when bleeding over time?

Just leaping the lapse for possible ideas here, brother.

If any of my brothers of the board are looking for a sci fi RP, I got one starting up.
@dragonmancer

If you are still interested. You are accepted. Feel free to move your, hulking hankinator into the character section, bud. But I would like to see that addition added on soon.

@LordofthePies

The OC is up. All items are priced. I may add a few more items but it is as it stands for now. You're starting points and credits are:

1500 credits (your poor) -the institution dosen't give a lot of time to make money-

Youth -even as a specialists. Time makes money-

Specialists (jobs for your character are sparse due to your niche field)

Starting Points= 20

starting points are collective points of experience and things done.

Institute: you can't do or experience a lot in a confined place.

Educated: but you were tested and taught, Giving some special chances.

For now, your starting points can be only used for purchasing gear. After this mission your points can be used for the sort of things I mentioned in the IC- such as feats and acts you did in the down time-

@MonstrousMan

Warm my waivers like a caramel syrup, brother to find you're still in the back seat, my man. I'm gonna check out your alien dude again now. Feel free to shop.

I'm just about to post Epoch in the group thread, my man.

@Ellri

You could but don't be surprised when almost everyone who reads it have vastly different ideas of suitable, flaws and sufficiently to the point that any message intended was lost.
@NuttsnBolts

Motherfucking. sorry, brother. I like. swear and mix up because its my brain trying to not let all my thought jumble into the dishwasher of my ticket taker. I got some sort of thought disorder that means I have "thought crashes" so that's like. My traffic light.

{Translation}

Characters tend to become much more likable when they are more defective to their own goals. Typically the more of a bad(unskilled or lack of assured power defining bad here) start a character has the more fantastical the bar lowers for this effect to take place. The more powerful or weird or whatever you make a character the bar has to keep raising, to the point that it's no real surprise that they achieve the goal anyway or that even with sporting opposing rivals the ways they do it can become predictable. Normal people are good drivers if you can apply human limits onto them and humans, generally. As a rule. Suck at shit.

They suck at seeing how they suck, they suck at seeing when the right time to do something. They suck at reacting on the spot. That's what makes human triumph so empowering to look at, because how they suck is relatable. A lot of characters in my experience that tend to be unlikable are fixed characters...EG: "lawful paladin who is always lawful and good cop" when in reality, no one is 100% confident of being in the right, of the laws and they are DEFINITELY not 100% confident in themselves. Cops aren't even confident in all the laws. Now you're fucked, you got to eat but yesterday despite all your training, all your experience you had to shoot a guy who just wanted to see his kid and was stopped from doing so by an abusive ex wife.

How do your live with that and still be a good guy.

Basically: if you want to make a character more likable. Give your characters mirror image devil horns...to himself. Then make him have to learn to grab 'em and try to tackle 'em or keep getting gored and wonder why they keep doing worse shit or leaving destruction in their wake.

Maybe, like. This dosen't have anything to do with your posts. Fuck, brother. Sorry. I'm of like. Flipping my brains more than a acrobatic burger vendor lately. So, I'm all in the maze.
@Leo Khan@MonstrousMan

I'm sure that you and your brothers are all in the shinning with knights honors and souls of stone, motherfucking. virtues. We ain't trying to muffle your movements or anything, my abstract codified cooler. But an influx of votes after we started is bound for doubts and dirty digging from accusers and accused. We should let the brothers already in before this all vote only.

The other sirens and sitters can come on into the group but they can't just vote this one time.
All the kingdoms. Hit me up if I motherfucking. missed yo shuffle of shelters.

@SgtEasy

We're motherfucking. voting on what kingdom we're gonna do the one shot in. Me, rift and Monstrous submitted a sheet. If my memory are not playing jerry hanks.

When we voted we're gonna play as a council holding a meeting over an increasing rising tension between another kingdom that is opposite to it. Their both stuck, with the elves in the forest stopping them growing any further and mountains 'n shit stopping them from expanding. The only other territory to expand into is each others.

The only rule is we can't vote for our own kingdom we submitted.

(I might repost all the kingdom in a sec together so we can vote more easily)

I vote for Mostrousman kingdom.
