Being pure Zabrak, Blokere has all the traits of his people. He has red skin and thirteen orat crowning his head. He is a tall, lean and muscular man standing about 6'3. His Jat'o and Jat'i are black in colour. He has red eyes that match his skin and no hair.

Notable Race Traits:

Red Skin - Being a Zabrak means having different coloured skin and vibrant Jat'o and Jat'i, which give away his clan and family heritage. (to those that know how to read them)
Horns/Orat/Nails - His orat are a durable and sharp which can rip through flesh if need be, the way they are placed on his head is also a sign of his clan on his homeworld. His fingernails are sturdy and sharp and can cut through flesh just like his horns, if not better.
Eyesight - Zabrak's have great eye sight and can see colours more sharply, but they can also see in near darkness. (like a cat)
Skeleton - His skeletal structure is denser and more rigid than most other species, which makes it hard to break.
Hearing/Smelling - Since Zabrak's are carnivores by nature they have a heightened sense of smell and hearing, with scent being stronger of the two. A Zabrak can recognize a person by their smell, what possibly their emotional state is at the time of meeting.
Pain Tolerance - Zabrak's are known for their high resistance to pain when it comes to torture and serious wounds.
Extreme Heat Tolerance - Coming from a dry and hot planet, Blokere is able to tolerate much higher temperatures of heat and for much longer than most species.

Flaws:

Cold Tolerance - Because his species and tolerate high heat, means that they were ill suited for cold conditions
Eye Sight - Even though his species has great eye sight, they can't adapt to sudden changes in light, so a flash bang will hurt them.
Pain Tolerance - Even though Zabrak's can take a beating, sometimes they can forget that they need to take time to rest and heal.
Immunity to Disease - Though his kind are hardy and rarely get sick, if an ailment does strike them it usually means something is seriously wrong. Most will be unable to do much other than rest and hope to recover.
Skeleton - Because Zabrak's skeletons are naturally dense means that they lack the speed of some other species. Plus breaking a bone is a pain in the arse, and takes a long time to heal.
Pride - Because his species are a proud people, they don't take kindly to insults or threats even if the threat was a bluff. (Someone going to get a hurt real bad)

Skills:

Being a Iridonian - Speaking Ul’ Zabrak, hunting, tracking, practice combat and martial art training are skills highly prized by the Zabrak, including himself.
Lightsaber combat -
Hand to Hand Combat - Being from a culture of warriors, it is only right that he learned that art of fighting without weapons.
Quick Thinking - He can make up his mind quickly and make up another plan fast if in a pinch
Calmer/Soother - He can calm just about anyone and help sooth their pain, he's not sure how he doesn't it, he only knows he can.

Biography:

Blokere Dystraay was born on his peoples homeworld, Iridonia, to his Father Bekk and his Mother Dret. He was an only child as there were many complications during his birth which nearly caused the death of his mother. In fear of having more complications or possibly death, his parents chose to only have him. With only one child they devoted much love and care to their son, while also teaching him what it meant to be a Zabrak. His father took him on many hunting trips and taught him the value of respecting nature and the thing you are hunting. "No matter how smart or how simple the thing you are hunting is, always show respect and never under estimate." Was a saying that his father always repeated every trip. From his fathers teachings he became a good hunter and tracker, and from his mother he learned the art of combat.

His ability to use the force became known when his mother nearly dropped a plate while cleaning. Instead of the plate shattering on the floor like it should have, it was floating in the air and placed gently on the ground. His parents became dismayed as they had no idea how to use the force, but wanting only the best for their son they contacted the Jedi. Blokere was only eight years old when a human Jedi came and took him to Coruscant to be trained. There he flourished and learned, though it was noted that his pride could get in the way of his training. But as he was going into puberty the Jedi sent him home, in order to undergo the rite of passage that only his Clan could preform.

During this trying time when his hormones were in flux, he took those time to meditate and strengthen his connection with the force. While others that were undergoing the change as well were causing trouble and fighting, he was in a calm state and finding peace in what he had learned from his master Olin Avith. When it came time to take the Res Selenoren he felt ready for it, he knew that his Rite would be harder than the others as he had the force. The tests tested him physically, mentally and emotionally and once he completed them he proved himself worthy of being one of the clan. Shortly after the Rite he got his Jat'o and his Jat'i, and he wears them proudly.

Once all the Rites had been preformed he went back to Coruscant to continue his training with Master Olin Avith. He spent many years learning and making mistakes, but with the stern and gentle hand of his master he was guided to a greater understanding of the Force and finding peace. But still he finds it hard to not to feel for his aging parents, he knows he can love them but having strong attachments can lead to a fall if not properly managed. But despite this he became a Jedi Knight, ready to take an apprentice..... or maybe later.

Getting proper leave to visit his parents, he went to his homeworld. Upon getting there his mother took him to her original Clan, but instead of being greeted with smiles, they were told that Taishma had been seriously hurt. Blokere could feel the pain of those around him as if it was his own, he wished to help them. But they were to late in getting there and he knew that Taishma would soon die. He watched as the family and clan went into mourning, that was when he noticed that two of the children were force sensitive. He couldn't help but wonder why he hadn't seen them in the Jedi temple. He wished to talk to them, but his mother told him not to.

While away from Coruscant on unofficial business he got news that the Temple had been attacked, his first instinct was to rush back. But the words of his old Master and his father came to mind. He would have to go about this with a sound and clear mind, make a plan and act on it.

Personality and/or Motivation:

Blokere can be hard headed at times, but mostly he trusts his gut and thinks thing through. (which is why most think he is hard headed) He can be an idealist with wanting to do things so everyone benefits, even if its not practical. He likes to find peace, even in the small things, he has to with all the horror he has seen in the galaxy. He is clever or at least he thinks he is, as he always finds a way to get out of trouble. (that's after getting himself into it in the first place)
He has a habit of rubbing the back of his neck when he is confused, stressed, frustrated, or tired. (so he his rubbing his neck nearly all the time.)
Blokere tries to find time to meditate each day as he tends to get cranky if he doesn't, its a habit he doesn't intend to break anytime soon.

Dark Side
In order to make Blokere turn to the dark side, one must give him a damn good reason to turn. They can threaten and/or kill what little family he has, he will not budge. But maybe romantic love will be his down fall, as thats one thing he wishes to have.

Light Side
Blokere is strong in the force and keeps to its code strictly, he finds no greater peace anywhere else in all the galaxy. And he puts others before himself in nearly all things.

Player’s long term goals:

Blokere wishes to save those of the Order and if possible save those that had fallen to the dark side. He will meet this goal even if it means death for him. "There is no greater sacrifice, than giving ones life for another. No matter how unworthy they might be."

Relations:

Olin Avith - He was Blokere's Jedi Master for many years and a strong willed man that believed in his padawan. Last the Blokere heard was that he was at the Jedi temple when it was sacked.
Jayda Mirthios - He didn't know her personally, but he knew that she was part of his mothers old Clan. He also knows that she is force sensitive and was hurting the last time he saw her. He wonders about her often.

I am fairly typical of my species, with the brown hair and the almond-shaped green eyes characteristic of many many Epicanthix. I ended up with my father’s freckles. Unfortunately, there’s loads of them. I’m mostly muscle, not soft like the sort of woman most men want, but it comes in handy in this line of work. Last time anyone checked, I was 5 foot 8 inches tall, and roughly 115 pounds, and I’ve got some pretty crazy scars. I was captured in a nondescript black tunic, leggings and boots, similar to traditional Jedi garments.

Notable Race Traits: Human biology with three noticeable differences:

- Longer Lifespan: An average of 130 standard years
- Epicanthic fold: a small fold of skin above the eyelid, common in Asian peoples of Earth
- A rare genetic immunity to Force-assisted mental tricks, influence, domination and mind reading

Flaws:

Left Shoulder: A previous injury makes it impossible for me to raise my left arm very high, so I depend largely on using my right, a serious handicap especially when you wield a double bladed lightsaber.

Paranoia: You try spending as much time with the Sith as I have, and not jump at the slightest surprise. I keep my secrets close for good reason.

Lack of Diplomacy: Don’t ask me to talk us out of a bad place, it won’t go over well.

Isolation: I am afraid lack of society that is not trying to kill me has made me susceptible to kindness. If I were to start caring, how would I keep from caring too much?

Battle Fever: I loose my mind in battle. Don’t get me wrong—I do not enjoy killing. It is only that the worst in me comes out when blood starts to spill.

Skills:

-Tracking: It’s my job. I track down the Sith baddies and their toys and artifacts, and destroy them in the hopes that it will undermine their operations.

-Technology: In an incredibly technologically advanced civilization, it helps to know your way around a bit of technology. I’m not about to go designing droid interfaces, but I can disable most types fairly easily.

-Piloting: The ability to pilot space craft greatly increases one’s self reliance, or so I think. That’s why I got a pilot friend of mine to teach me how a while back.

-Lightsaber skills: I am a good fighter, specializing in the Jar’Kai (double blade) variant of the Ataru and Soresu forms, as Shadows carry double-bladed lightsabers.

Force capabilities:

-Basics: I’ve got the basics down fine, especially the mental skills. Those come in handy when I inevitably end up where my enemies don’t want me.

-Comprehend Speech: This has to be the single most useful tool I have while on a trail.

-Crucitorn: Just try to torture me. I dare you.

Biography:

My name is Miran Salem, and I was born on the planet Panatha in the Pacanth Reach, which—for those of you that are wondering—is one of the Outer Rim Territories on the edge of the galaxy. My parents were warriors, so I was with them little during the short part of my life that I was on Panatha. Instead I was raised by an old son of a blaster Mon Calamari droid trader named Ibtisaam Seach. It was he that recognized my ability with the force and turned me over to the Jedi.

I was certainly not considered anything special during my training years as a initiate and then a padawan. I got along with the other kids well enough, seeing as how I have basic social skills and was not so good as to be intimidating or so bad as to be looked down upon. In fact, the only skill I really shone in back then was fighting—which I don’t suppose is all that surprising, given my lineage. I would have been destined for a rather ordinary career as a Jedi if I had not been assigned to Master Sentinel Dumas Ch’gally as a padawan.

Like all Sentinels, Master Ch’gally believed firmly in learning a large variety of skills, not just those that belong to the Jedi alone. Thus, he taught me a little of everything he knew as we travelled across the galaxy, rather than train at the Jedi temple. To be honest, I wasn’t the best student. Very little Master Ch’gally tried to teach me about diplomacy and culture stuck, though I ate up everything he gave me on the Force, fighting, tracking, and the Sith. I was ever the blood thirsty little thing in my youth.

After he had nocked enough sense into my head for the rank of Jedi Knight, Ch’gally washed his hands of me, and recommended me for Shadow training. He was dead certain that I’d never make a good Sentinel, though I doubt he could have predicted how well I would adapt to life as a Jedi Shadow.Those few years of training between padawan and shadow were… difficult, to say the least. That in depth training was hardest thing I’ve ever gone through to date, though being a Sith prisoner might come close, if we don’t escape soon.

I have been a Jedi Shadow for 12 years now, not as long as some, but a very respectable amount of time to have stayed alive when you live as we do, constantly behind enemy lines. I have killed and destroyed many in that amount of time, which is not an easy thing to live with, I can promise you that—even if they were enemies of the Jedi Order and the Republic. These days I’d give anything for true peace among the races of our galaxy, not the tense sort of draw we’ve been living in, what with the Council of First Knowledge still sending me out to destroy Sith artifacts.

I had just gotten back from one such mission when the sacking of Coruscant began. It was an ordinary enough task: retrieve and destroy a Sith artifact that had the ability to make the wearer immune to mind tricks. I suppose the Council gave it to me because I’m immune to mind tricks, who knows. That just seems like the sort of connection a room of pompous, highly intelligent, and highly moral council members would make. Anyway, I got in and got the artifact okay after tracking the son of a Hutt down for nearly a month when I stumble across a karking droid in a place no droid was supposed to be (according to the ship’s log of security droid schedules). The bloody thing set off every alarm in the place before I could disable it, and before I knew it, I was flying for my life in some forsaken corner of the Outer Rim, being chased by a Sith Lord, a handful of Purebloods, and who knows how many droids. I think I lost their ship in a Mon Calamari ship market, but I can’t be sure. All I know for certain is that they weren’t there when I dumped the artifact in a volcano on Aaghra, on my way to Coruscant.

The Jedi Temple was oddly quiet as I made my way towards the Council of First Knowledge where I would let them know that I was in and that my mission was a success—I was normally questioned in detail later. A passing padawan enlightened me to the reason why so little of our number were present; the Sith were suing for peace. Part of me rejoiced at this news, but somewhere deep inside I still had a nagging feeling. The Sith I had encountered lately certainly hadn’t acted like they were working towards peace…

Mere hours after I reached the Temple, we were attacked by the karking mind-witch spawn. I go now to do what I can for the Order that has defined my life.

Personality and/or Motivation: First and foremost, I do my duty to the Order. I’m not the coolest, most level-headed Jedi, but I get the job done. In my line of work, the ends matter before the means. I’d like to consider myself a logical, commonsense sort of person; I’ll be the one to tell you how it is. To be honest, my anxiety gets to me from now and then, and years of digging behind enemy lines has made me untrusting before my time (I’m only 30 after all). You could even go so far as to call me paranoid. I’m sick and tired of death and destruction. I’d give just about anything for peace.

Player’s long term goals: I’d like to escape this farkled ship without loosing my mind or my Force alignment. I’d like true peace, though I doubt I’ll get it, and a less destructive career path, maybe as a Watchman. Maybe I’ll even work towards becoming a Master or training a few padawans. I don’t suppose they’d let me out of the Order at this point.

Relations:

Jedi Master Kinsakwi'tetsu: Seven years ago, on a seemingly simple mission to uncover Sith involvement in a crime ring, I worked with Master Tetsu who ended up saving my life.

Sith Lord Sish: In return for saving my life, I swore to undermine the Sithspit that had taken two of Kinsakwi's fingers in whatever way possible. Due to my own hubris, Sish discovered me and defeated me in a duel by sinking his reptilian teeth into the flesh of my left shoulder. I survived thanks to Master Tetsu's surviving soldiers.

Also Jar'kai is dual blade combat, not double. The double bladed lightsaber form has no fancy name and is just called Double bladed lightsaber combat :P
