Well there'll be an element of that too, but unlike in the Fox movies remember that we also have super-heroes running around who aren't all hated :P

Do you want to borrow the whole... distrust from the comics? That mutants can be anywhere and anyone?

Main Thread

Welcome to Doomed Future this is an Alternate Future for the main continuity of All-Star Marvel. Nuclear war has destroyed the world, only Dystopia a city saved by the Asgardian and former Avenger Loki still stands and is suitable for human life. It is ruled by a tyrant, a ruler who has ruled for generations of human life. Maestro, a green being that some say used to be a raging monster who now has greater intellect than most humans. He rules with an Iron Fist, ensuring that everyone plays their part in society and never leave their assigned role. While he also ensures that the rogue mutant societys that can live out in the badlands are kept under control, stepping down on any attempt of rebellion.

Despite that there are rumours... of an old man trying to gather up the power to take on Maestro. The real question is, do they have the power to change the world?

What is this?

This is an Alternate Future where Hulk due to the combination of intense radiation and the loss of a friend and an experimental drug has turned into the Maestro. Stronger than he has ever been, bar one occasion, and more intelligent than the Hulk has ever been. Dystopia is the capital of a ruined world. An area saved by Loki in his final moments from the bombs as they fell.

Everything else is the badlands, where only mutants can survive the harmful radiation.

Who can I play?

Anyone in the Marvel Universe, with the exception of Maestro and any characters listed Here. You can however take on a legacy character (Future child/replacement).

Players will be allowed a maximum of two characters, I ask kindly that anyone from the main continuity of ASM only brings one of their characters forward if they have the life span.

ASM-Players: Please provide an updated history/power list as needed.

|| MAJOR EVENTS ||

Please remember that our timeline differs from the main All-Star Marvel from the moment Doctor Victor Von Doom travels to the future.

• 1942 - Captain America, accompanied by a hand selected team of professionals enter WWII, guns blazing.
• 1945 - The Strategic Homeland, Intelligence, Enforcement and Logistics Division is formed.
• 1980's - The Brotherhood is founded. Members include Charles Xavier, Erik Lensherr, and Raven Darkholme.
• 1990's - S.H.I.E.L.D becomes a Global organization which is overseen by a world council.
• 1990's -The Brotherhood is dissolved after the leadership had clashing ideologies. Charles Xavier founds the Xavier Institute of Higher Learning, while Magneto reforms the Brotherhood in his own image.
• 2000 - Victor Von Doom becomes sovereign and ruler of Latveria
• 2010 - Super-humans begin to fall on the radar of the general public. However, at this point, they are still only urban legends. The 'X-gene' is discovered.
• 2011 - The world accepts the existence of super-humans. Most heroes begin their careers in this year.
• 2011 - Tony Stark takes over Stark Industries and transforms it into Stark Technology.
• March, 2012 - Gamma Bomb went off near Vista Verdé, sightings of a Green Monster tearing up a military base.
• August, 2012 - Latverian Union is formed, Avengers are formed. Unbeknownst to the world Doctor Doom travels to the future. While he disappears Doombots are left to rule Latveria in his stead. Avengers face #@'£!%^& Data Corrupted
• 2012-2013 - Super Villains continue to plague the world, seemingly more and more powerful.
• 2014 - Most Eastern European countries join the Latverian Union: Growing tension between the Union and the west.
• 2015 - Kang the Conqueror attacks Earth, in the ensuing battle Bruce Banner and the Hulk disappear from the face of the Earth.
• 2016 - Hulk re-appears, though insists that he now goes by the name Maestro. Claims that he and Banner have merged into a single entity. Maestro joins the Avengers.
• Early 2017 - War erupts between the Latverian Union and the West.
• Late 2017 - The Avengers decide to get involved in the war as it engulfs what was once Europe and the Middle east, with Doctor Doom squashing all opposition.
• Early 2018 - The Avengers, now led by Maestro. Squash all opposition in the UK, moving into France.
• Late 2018 - Avengers enter france, and push through enemy lines, they hear word that Doctor Doom is vulnerable and begin forming a plan to get to his castle.
• Winter 2019 - The Avengers breaking past enemy lines, with the support of Helicarrier Hermes lay siege to the castle of Victor Von Doom. The Avengers roster now consists of the majority of Super-heroes willing to fight for America and her allies.
• Christmas Day 2019 - Maestro and Loki manage to break past enemy lines into Doctor Dooms castle. Triggering the final failsafe, the castle becomes ground zero for a extinction level event. Loki sacrifices himself in order to save Latveria which becomes the only habitable area on Earth.
• New Years 2020 - Maestro awakens to a world destroyed and full of radiation.
• 2020 - Maestro takes over Latveria, eliminating pockets of resistance.
• 2021 - It is discovered that most Mutants somehow survived the apocalypse and have formed fragmented communities.
• 2022 - Many Mutants (and the few human survives) flock to Dystopia, once called Latveria. Maestro kills the few Avengers who survived the Apocalypse and creates a throne room where he houses some of their most iconic belongings.
• 2023 - Most Mutant communities are eliminated by Maestro, Maestro vows to eliminate what he calls the Mutant Threat
• 2024-2050 - Maestro becomes increasingly strict, erects a statue in honor of Loki. He still occasionally ventures into the Badlands when rumours of a Mutant Clan nearby reach Dystopia.
• 2050-2060 - A resistance forms, the leader of which is said to know Maestro back when he was the Hulk.
• 2060-2070 - Maestro is seen less and less, many people begin to wonder if old age and the deadly radiation in the badlands is beginning to kill him.
• 2071 - Maestro is seen for the last time, denouncing rumours that he is dying.
• 2072 - After a year since Maestros disappearance more and more mutant clans try to encroach on Dystopia in order to reap the benefits of the fertile and habitable land.
• Winter 2072 - Current Date.

I may tweak Dooms post a bit later, I was rushed to finish it due to time constraints so it needs tidying up a bit I think.

Bruce sighed in resignation. He looked at the vial of blood, this was all they had. Assuming that security was far enough away he might just have a way out of this before this Doctor got himself into trouble or... S.H.I.E.L.D or Ross found out that he was here. He really couldn't linger anywhere for any amount of time after all. The longer he spent in one place the greater his chances of discovery were, and the greater the chance that either he was going to get captured and get in trouble or that Hulk was going to make an appearance and cause trouble. The papers, he hadn't read one since this had started. He could only imagine the things they were saying about him. Hell, that J.Jonah Jamieson from the Daily Bugle was probably having a right go at him, I mean if he tore Spider-Man to shreds what chance di dhe stand?

No, he needed to get out of here. "Hey Doc..." He threw the vial. "-Catch." Crawford naturally went for the vial as Bruce bolted for the door, months of running had built his muscles up to the point where while a few months ago he would never have been able to make it in time. He heard the vial smash, he smiled slightly as he did. While the blood would still be testable it would be sufficiently corrupted that it would take the good Doctor months to do so. By that time he'd surely have a cure so that if he did use it as a cure for disease when the inevitable side effects emerged he'd be more than ready.

Security came round the corner, and Bruce just lowered his head looking down and to the left where the floor met the wall to keep his face out of their visual. He doubted they'd recognise him but you couldn't be too careful these days - apparently that was the case anyway. He then came across a door marked laundry, pushing himself backwards into it the stench hit him first. He didn't envy anyone that worked in this room. The humidity alone could probably kill someone from exposure, and the smell... it was less than pleasant. Though the mixture of stool, urine, blood, pus and other excretions weren't going to exactly make a room smell like roses. He skipped out all the dirty clothes, looking for a clean batch. He would have opened his mouth with an ah-ha when he found them... if that wouldn't have proved deadly.

Regular trousers, shirt and a purple hoody. Purple wasn't exactly his colour but it fit so... it would have to do.

Doom paced the room. Everything was almost ready. A Doombot was currently impersonating him at the UN, announcing the concept of a Latverian Union and no doubt taking in all the applications. Especially with the fact that Latveria now boasted that each citizen within it's borders recieved free electirity. Tony Stark may feel like a good guy, yet despite all his attempts at being a good person he was still a corporate pig. Making tools for the people, and charging a fortune for them. No better than the likes of that Steve Jobs fellow. Though Steve Jobs had been significantly less annoying than Tony Stark... he also understood how to offer someone the respect they deserved. He was yet to speak with Stark, and would have to upon his return. There were several parts of his plan that could use someone like him.

Though for now he had another place to me, or rather another time. He eyed the machine, it filled the whole room. Transmission rods pointed towards the centre podium which would electrify his molecules and send him forward in time, or backwards if he were to so chose it. No doubt he would travel back, there were so many mysteries he had to solve in the past after all. For now however, the future was his destination. Three hundred years being his target destination. Technically he could chose a time period much closer however he felt that three hundred was a nice round number, given enough time for him to make his mark on the world and for the world to continue on in however he had shaped it. He had no doubt that he had saved the world, it would be better under his rule after all. No, this was to see how well his legacy had lasted. So that he could take any measures required in order to ensure that the peace and prosperity he would create would last as long as possible.

He stood in the centre of the podium, lights flickered. Not just in the castle but instead all over Latveria as the machine powered up. The entire room began to shake, electrical discharges flew around the room hitting the walls scoring and burning them as they amde contact. A poor Doombot that happened to be in the room was hit by a bolt, being of the more basic sentinel variety it exploded as it was overcharged. Then in one final flash of light he was gone. The room dimmed for a couple of seconds...

Then out of nowhere, there was a blinding flash and kneeling on the Podium, torn cape and cracked armour knelt Victor Von Doom. A doombot came running into the room. Doom looked up at it. "Damned it, the machine failed!"

There was a shadow in the corner of the room, neither Doom the Doombots or the sensors noticed it. It was almost a ghost...

Decided that for as long as @Facepunch is in the Avengers as Hyperion we definitely cannot have @DrewVonAwesome as Quicksilver (Unless Drew stays on the X-Men path then he's out anyway) as I don't want to make the Justice League :P

I am guessing @Dedonus we're having the X-Men a somewhat known organisation? Just to give a reason why S.H.I.E.L.D doesn't try to recruit any of them.
