So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.

It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within. I've grown since then, I game quite a bit, I write when I can. I have a wikia full of a lore to my own original creative universe and play around with some 'cool' comic book nerds.

Thanks, it's an idea I have been playing with for a while (Though you may be able to tell that)

Mars has fallen, Earth is falling. Twenty years ago in the year 2196 an experiment with real life Hyperspace technology went wrong in the worst possible way, alerting an alien species who we simply know as the Devastators to our existence. Their first wave decimated our Solar Systems outer defenses in an offensive known as the three day war, they pushed into our system wiping out our outposts. All our people could do was flee from the onslaught, Mars became the last line of defense. Rallying all the ships we had at our command Admiral Roland Constantine managed to beat the scourge that threatened to wipe our species from the galaxy. We lived in relative peace for ten years, always vigilant. Old feuds crumbled to dust and new alliances formed, a people never united under a common banner finally came together with their brush with near extinction.

However on the tenth anniversary of Admiral Constantines victory our latest deep space scanners brought our worst fears to life, a fleet ten times the size of the one that nearly wiped us out was being assembled in deep space. Our people brainstormed, knowing that at any moment the fleet could decide to move upon us. Knowing that we didn't have the firepower or the manpower to defeat such a threat, which is when the esteemed Martian Institute of Technology proposed a radical idea, to leave our Solar System behind. With the perfection of Hyperspace technology we could leave our system behind us and make a home for ourselves out in the stars, sending Arks into the void of space to seek out a new home. The discussions lasted for days before the United Earth Council came to the decision to go ahead with the plan. Preparations were made in secret, with as few human personnel used as possible to prevent any leaks and rioting as the twelve arks planned could not carry all of humanity.

Over the next ten years, always vigilant that the enemy could begin their advance at any time, the Arks were constructed and the crew and passengers carefully selected. As the Devastators began to advance once more the project was nearly complete, our fleets sent out to hold them back as long as possible as the projects were made public. Every resource, every ounce of man power was devoted to the survival of the species. Criminals with necessary skills to complete the Hyperspace gate or the Arks were released, almost every able bodied man woman and child were drafted to the project to see to it's completion. Humanity knew, as their fleets were torn apart that there was more at risk than their own lives. The existence of the human race was at stake, as the young and healthy selected boarded the Arks amongst some of the most skilled crewmen humanity had to offer others mourned. Some taking up arms in preparation for one last stand, others took to looting and rioting demanding that their work should give them a place on an Ark.

Moments ago, Mars fell. The Arks are loaded, the hyperspace gate is ready. Humanity needs to leave this solar system. There can be no turning back.

First I need to apologise for making you read all that, essentially this Roleplay will take part on the Ark named Vitae or 'New Life'. Players will make up some of the more important crew members ( I say this so that interaction will be promoted ), this will make you either an extremely skilled serviceman to be able to serve on this ship or a prime candidate for rekindling humanity in a far away place. To ensure that the ships couldn't be followed they all jumped to a different location which means that the Vitae is all by itself, but is designed to be fully self sufficient. This roleplay will be based around encounters with alien life-forms, visiting new alien worlds and trying to ensure humanities survival.

If you have any questions, let me know.

@Spud In AoS there was a librarian Asgardian. That's what I was joking about.
