So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.

It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within. I've grown since then, I game quite a bit, I write when I can. I have a wikia full of a lore to my own original creative universe and play around with some 'cool' comic book nerds.

I feel like comic book movies get a lot of shit. A bad movie is a bad movie, no matter if it's comic book or not. As far as I'm concerned.

Hell, you're speaking to a Star Wars fan that can sit through the Sequels without throwing a tantrum, ironically I feel like a lot of butthurt fans are being represented by the actions of Kylo Ren.

I just feel like movie culture has gotten to a point where it's pretty toxic, you really do get torn down for liking an unpopular movie, or even brand. The same way you get torn apart for the opposite, before the sequels came out "Oh I don't really like Star Wars." "YOU FUCKING WHAT?!"

People in my head just get too obsessed over it, and forget that the most important part of seeing movies is having fun and just relaxing for a couple of hours.

That said there are some bad films out there, but I feel like that's nothing to do with franchises and more Hollywood just trying to be a money factory.

@AndyC In all honesty, I don't jump aboard the hate train for a lot of comic book movies. I can enjoy them, but I don't hate them.

The only one that annoyed me the most was Flash in Justice League, but a minor retcon of calling him Wally West and it would have been a lot better in my opinion. Barry was always the more serious of the two, and I think they just mashed Barry and Wally together for sake of needing some comedic relief in the movie.

I mean there are some comic book films I've not seen, which are the ones that garner the most hate. Out of the ones I've seen, not a single one hated.

That is legit one of my actual favourite moments from Season 1 (Bar most scenes with Reverse Flash). Supersonic punch baby!

On the topic of RF In Media... I hate that they always dumb-down his motives. In that he's always trying to kill Barry. Rather than doing the whole "I can't kill you, because then I won't exist. So I'll just make your life hell."
