So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.
It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within. I've grown since then, I game quite a bit, I write when I can. I have a wikia full of a lore to my own original creative universe and play around with some 'cool' comic book nerds.

Odin Borson: Thors father, All-Father, and King of Asgard. Supposed creator of the nine realms. Freyja Freyrdottir: The woman that truly raised Thor, and shaped his morals and ideals.
Thor is bullheaded, he's stubborn. Yet he's a hero. He can be humble when the time needs him to be, he's compassionate and caring. Raised alongside his adoptive brother Loki Laufeyson by his father Odin Borson and adoptive mother Freyja Freyrdottir. Thor was pushed and tested at every hurdle. The first apparent heir to the union between the Aesir and the Vanir. Thor would one day become King, and Odin made sure that Thor was going to be ready.
At an early age, Thor struggled with the brutal tactics of his father. Thor was no coward, nor was he afraid of battle, killing, or death. Thor however had a strong sense of honor and compassion instilled into him by Freyja. The tactics Odin utilized to bring 'peace' held much more interest to the cunning Loki than to Thor. The Young God truly didn't feel at home until the war between realms resulted in him being sent to Midgard to act as one of its protectors during the middle ages. Thor revealed in the battle, but more importantly, he became absorbed in the way that the mortals lived and breathed. Never in his long life had he felt so alive. As if he was finally in the right place and right time.
As outside threats to Midgard decreased, division among the Gods threatened to tear Midgard asunder. Odin having eight other realms to worry himself over decided to retreat from Midgard, much to Thor's disappointment. Gaining his power through Mjolnir and the crown prince was only the next logical step. All was well.
Until Odin ordered the execution of Jotuns that had rebelled against his rule, Jotuns that had already been defeated. In an act of defiance unheard of in all his life, Thor slammed Mjolnir into the ground in a fit of rage incapacitating everyone nearby, allowing the Jotuns to go free. Before anyone awoke Thor was gone. He traveled for centuries among the eight realms. Righting wrongs, fighting for those who needed it. Glory and praises were sung to him in a variety of tongues from many places as he skulked around passageways he and Loki had explored as children. He gathered like-minded individuals in the form of Lady Sif and the Warriors Three. They were unbeatable. Until they finally drew Odin's wrath.
As Odin himself came to bring his meddlesome son home, he quickly incapacitated Thor's allies before stripping him of Mjolnir and casting it away. The argument between the All-Father and All-Prince thundered throughout the heavens and through the realms of mortals. In the battle of wits, Thor foreswore his birthright. Odin stripped him of his name and cast him out, without Mjolnir, to Midgard. Forbidden to ever return, under penalty of death.

This is a very different interpretation of my two attempts at Thor. This is a Thor that is secure in who he is as a hero, but he is very unsure on where his place is in all of this. He is without Mjolnir, but he still has some power available to him. My plan is for him to find his place in Asgard and how that relates to Midgard and the other realms. This Thor is essentially the opposite of how I usually play it. Usually, he knows his place, but not really who he is.
This Thor knows who he is, but not where his place is or how to take his place in this cosmic tale of Gods and Magic.
As always there's going to be a hidden threat that only our Hero knows about, who appears to have been around longer than you would think.
Thunder rolled over the tundra of Alaska. The sky above was full of dark rolling clouds that stretched far beyond the horizon. Thick, heavy snowdrops danced in the howling wind. No beast dared to brave the harsh conditions. None but a man, nay. A God. Dressed in naught but a torn red cape, blue shirt, black trousers, and a pair of leather boots tramped through the snow. His skin as clean and fresh as it would be had he been walking on a pleasant summer's eve.
Thor had experienced worse winters. Here on Midgard when the Jotuns opened the casket of ancient winters, and any day spent on Jotunheim. The axe weighed heavy on his back, yet he didn't let it deter him. Each footfall crunched and cracked through the snow and the ice. His trail was quickly covered up by the fresh snow, if anyone wanted to follow him they wouldn't be able to use traditional means. Not that anyone who was tracking the wayward God would use traditional, or even mortal, means. He couldn't help but cast a wayward glance skyward. It was times like these he wished that he had spent more time on Lokis tricks, Heimdall was a good friend but honour bound to his duty to a fault, there was no way he could get away with this without it being reported back to his Odin.
Lowering his gaze back down he saw his destination. A lone mountain, Thor could see the flickering lights from the cave already. There was some kind of saying about birds of a feather flocking together. He had heard it several times on Midgard, this seemed like one of those times. Still, without Mjolnir, he had no option. Jarnbjorn was a mighty weapon, but it wasn't enough.
He could feel the familiar weight in his hand, raising it up he opened his fist revealing a sliver of Uru. The only keepsake that he had managed to sneak past Odins watchful gaze on their last meeting. Thor only hoped it would be enough.
So I've seen these styles of roleplays and never joined. But now I'm like whatever, it seems cool. So the character I had in mind was the Hulk, taking a lot of cues from the Immortal Hulk series. Hopefully no one else was interested in writing as the jade giant.

Doctor Strange isn't your typical superhero. He doesn't really have a secret identity or a second life, most of the time anyway. Over ten years ago, a renowned surgeon Doctor Steven Strange was in a tragic car accident, while he finally managed to recover his hands were wounded to the point where he would never be able to operate again. Unwilling to resort to teaching or theoretical work Steven began looking for possible solutions and cures. Every corner he turned doors were shut in his face. It was impossible and unethical. He was desperate, deranged, obsessed.
He pushed friends and family away and spent his savings on travel, herbal treatments, shamans and consultations. Eventually, he was guided to a man who after an accident had lost the ability to walk. Yet somehow he had regained the ability. Speaking to the mean, and examining his medical charts to deduce that it wasn't some form of scam (it was impossible).
On his last dime Steven Strange finally made his way to Kamar-Taj. Little did he know that this had all been orchestrated by the Ancient One. The banished Atlantean, Ahri'ahn. Ahri'ahn had been Atlantis' protector for hundreds of years, but when he failed to prevent it to sink into the ocean he was banished. Emerging into the world during a time of magic and strife, he founded Kamar-Taj and various sanctuaries around the world to help keep the world safe from errant magic and spirits. When magic was largely wiped out by mortal man within the dark ages, Ahri'ahn kept a handful of sorcerers safe. A vanguard against the threats of a supernatural nature.
Ahri'ahn had divined the future and foresaw a threat of his own making, his fallen apprentice Yao sought to use magic to govern over the world of man. Knowing he himself could not defeat Yao, Ahri'ahn had Steven Strange taught in the mystic arts. It took years, but in the aftermath of the battle, Yao was imprisoned inside the Sanctum Santorum till the end of days.
Since then Strange has seen the return to the age of Superheroes. Working in the shadows to keep the world, and even the heroes, safe from threats far more powerful than they realise.

Y E A R Z E R O O R I G I N R E C A P ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ Iris West was struck by a bolt of lightning five years ago, when visiting the lab of her good, longtime friend - Barry Allen. With the help of Barry and Harrison Wells of Star Labs she became the Superhero by the name of the Flash. She fought small times crooks and heroes throughout the city, becoming a beacon of hope for people in their times of need.
That was until the man in yellow tore her down. A man of similar unbelievable, and even greater speeds. A man who told her the lightning bolt had never been destined for her, but instead for Barry. She grappled with the feelings of inadequacy, and the fact there was a man out there who she couldn't stop. Every death that he caused was on her head. The confrontation came to a head when the so-called 'Reverse Flash' took Barry Hostage and gave him powers. Beating Iris to within an inch of her life, only before the final blow did Barry save her using super speed. The effort caused Barry to fade away before her very eyes, but not before she got a glimpse of what his life could of been.
She grieved for a time but then decided to don the cowl again. She was his legacy, and the future was of her own shaping. The Flash would continue to be a symbol of Hope within Central City. -
This is basically an alternate interpretation of my Iris West as the Flash. She's come a long way, five years into the Superhero business and she's far more confident and at home with who she is her abilities and her city. As well as her status within the larger superhero community, the Flash is a well-established figurehead for female Superheroes. Yet somehow she still struggles with finding the Work and Life and Superhero Life balance. She has battled each of the Rogues individually by this point and foiled one team of the original lineup.
Going forward I really want to explore her relationship with the Speedforce and her place within the Flash Mythos, as well as her taking on a more mentor role to the next generation of Superhero. I also want to delve more into the idea that the Flash is more of a global Superhero. Who doesn't just confine herself to one city, afterall she can cross the globe in plenty of time.
If I was to sum up this character concept. Iris West is the Flash, she goes fast, gives people hope.
For anyone who remembers that Henry Allen was who the Reverse Flash was pretending to be. I'm retconning that. Henry is alive and well.
P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S )
Iris West is finally getting things together. That is until a teenager named Wally West shows up on her doorstep and throws her entire life into disarray. Family ties are questioned and dark truths are bought to light. Iris is going to have to grapple with the concept of this new reality all the while staying true to who she is as a reporter and as a hero.
All the while she is going to be dealing with Harrison Wells, who after five long years is going to offer insights and theories into her abilities, but what will the resulting outcome be?
Ideas - not doing year one anymore going to need to edit these. Now it's OU so wayhay.
Iris West 2.0
New, improved. Insecure. Work more in line with her rogues rather than reverse flash, lay things out differently/better. The same core concept, that Iris (by fluke more than anything) was struck by the bolt instead of Barry. May revisit some similar themes, if game continues long time may revisit Reverse Flash and her feelings of inadequecy.
Steve Trevor was entrusted to Themyscira as a child by Hera, as her illegitimate son. As time went on life became increasingly difficult for young Steve (named for his father) he was entrusted to Diana Price, princess and half sister. Who took him off the island and into the world of man, to train and hone his powers in secret. Awaiting the day the world of the man once again required champions. Or some shit like that.
Teenage Shennanigans. Bases his entire exploits on his former favorite comic. Dan Garret, as the Blue Beetle
A young boy loses his parents, magic cave, and gains superpowers. Delusion or reality? Is Captain Marvel real or just a coping mechanism? What happens when his two worlds collide.
