*Despite the fact that none of the others seem to even acknowledge you, I motion for people to clear away from your area*

*Tries hiding behind random other shades*

<Snipped quote by Server>

I… Can’t say for sure. I guess that depends on how sure he is. And if he’s anywhere on the chain of command to be told to stop.

Then we'll have to sow confusion.
<Snipped quote by Server>

*Drops my head, body language changing from curious to resolute, and takes a couple of slow steps toward you*

*Starts to zig-zag and then doubles back on my position*

<Snipped quote by Server>

This is beyond strange. Maybe if I can get him to bother the other humans, they'll convince him to stop.
<Snipped quote by Server>

>Well I'm open to any ideas you might have in that regard. At most I had just planned for it to kind of wander around consuming matter and energy from uninhabited portions of space before someone stumbles across it.

Yeah, we can make that happen. It's pretty late tonight, but we can kick that off tomorrow if you want.
<Snipped quote by Server>

>Naturally we'd need to figure out why one would need to escape to begin with, as Aurus as I've decided to call it, won't actually be much of an antagonistic threat.

Of course of course. And all in due time. We've got to come up with a way to get him onboarded.
<Snipped quote by Server>

I’m not sure how much it matters. But I don’t think movement’s the problem. Probably proximity.

I'm not as much worried about them detecting motion as I am them noticing the sudden change.

<Snipped quote by Server>

*Continues to look down at you as you back up, then glances back and forth among others in the room before returning my gaze to your position*

*Continues backing up, nudging my path left*
<Snipped quote by Server>

*Keeps my gaze fixed with inquisitive posture, and my face gets nearly nose to nose with you*

*Shifts away slowly*

<Snipped quote by Server>

*Glances over and double takes*
Hey, I’d maybe back up?

I want to avoid any sudden movements.
<Snipped quote by Server>

>Yeah. I mean it is just a dimension with intelligence. While someone who has no knowledge of dimensional travel nor powers or tools might be stuck until it opens a portal to let them out, someone with those things could escape. Whether they could do so easily or not depends on their knowledge and skill versus the dimension's, not accounting for sheer power differences of course.

Right right. Trying to escape the dimension's watchful eye and figure out how to portal out could make for a cool puzzle arc. I'm a fan of cosmic horror stuff, so the idea already appeals to me.

*The various displays all display a wide variety of statistics, including all kinds of vitals readings, system status readings, controls, and quite a bit of measurements related to some sort of “output”, though nothing quite says exactly what is being output at all*
I’m getting a lot of medical stuff, actually. Maybe there’s a reason this is under a hospital wing.
*When you get close to one of the monitors to read it, suddenly, one of the wisp’s heads snaps toward you exactly, almost out of surprise, as if your presence was felt*

*Remains as still as possible while they look*

>I don't think I'd have it be able to stop time, however. More just weaponized effects. As far as its interior space goes though, I'd say skies the limit in terms of what it can do, though none of the changes it makes can't be overcome by particularly skilled or capable beings that may have gotten transported inside. Provided they have the means and conflict goes that far anyway.

When you say interior space, you mean inside of the sentient dimension itself?

Even going so far as to make it escapable when someone ends up inside. I like the way you think
<Snipped quote by Server>

Sure, sure. Hopefully. Though I doubt anyone just has an article pulled up or anything, they all surely know what they’re working with.
*Apprehensively goes to stand behind a wisp at a terminal and peaks over his shoulder*

Interfaces usually have some sort of detail. It doesn't take much; even a name would do.
*Steps from terminal to terminal and looks at their contents*
