Alasta moaned as she trudged up the mountain paths. It wasn't the low, haunting mumble of the typical walking corpse, however- more like a child in the backseat frustrated with being stuck in a traffic jam. Many of the other council members had private jets, or could warp space and time like rubber. Her? She had to make do with what transportation she could scrounge, most likely her own two feet. Alas. Still, it was for a good cause. Unlike many of the other creatures of the night, she was still human in the ways that mattered, rotting flesh be damned. A monster was defined by what they were on the inside.

The doors opened for her of their own accord, as they always did. While she might be able to hold her own against the Prince of Darkness for a time in a purely necromantic contest, the Count was far more adept than her in most areas of sorcery. Her cloak, the same crimson as her hair, brushed gently against the floor as she made her way through the corridors to the council chamber. A few of the other members had arrived, but strangely, it seemed the Count himself could not be... well, counted on. More than a little infuriating. If you tell somebody to come to your place, and that it's urgent, you had damn well better be there to tell them what's going on. Unless... Alasta followed the train of thought to its station, and her decaying eyebrows raised at the implications, but she forced them back down quickly.

Looking around, there were a few old hands already in attendance. Cameron the Skinwalker, looking as aloof as always. Nyarlathotep, the devious creature. How Dracula trusted her was beyond her understanding. And Orlok, still with the remnants of his latest lunch. You know, the mortals have these strange things called blood banks. Perhaps he should start making withdrawals.

Name: Alasta Brown. Alasta was the only name she had when she was alive, she's taken Brown as a surname over the millennia.

Gender: Female

Species: Lich (undead human)

Abilities: Necromancy- Alasta can raise corpses as zombies, call the dead back from the afterlife to speak with them, and even snuff souls into oblivion, though she hates to use that ability.

Undead Immortality- Alasta is virtually immune to physical destruction- destroy her organs, cut off her limbs, even decapitate her, and she'll just sew herself back together.

Skills: Magic knowledge, history.

Weaknesses- Alasta is extremely vulnerable to anti-magic effects- strong ones can put her in a coma or even destroy her phylactery, blasting her soul off to the afterlife.

Personality Traits: Kind, loving, adventurous, friendly.

Backstory- A long time ago- so long that even Alasta doesn't remember the exact date- she was a witch and shaman in Neolithic Britain. She employed her necromantic talents to protect her tribe, but a plague came, and she contracted it. But necromancers have ways around their mortal ends, and she stored her soul in a piece of jewelry. Since then, she's spent millennia wandering, learning from humans and doing the best she can for them. When she joined the Council, she became a voice for the humans. Not taking more than necessary for survival, not transforming them into the creatures of the night without their permission- even talking about revealing themselves to the world at large. Her views are... unconventional, to say the least, but she sticks to her guns.

Extra- her soul is stored in an emerald necklace. It's completely invulnerable to mundane weapons, but strong enough supernatural forces can shatter it.
Tokens? Anything but paladin.

I am still interested, with luck I will be able to touch up Asmodea Wednesday.
Name: Asmodea Ironscale

Age: 21

Species: Lamia

Class: Artificer

Weapons: Quarterstaff, but she'd much prefer to rely on spells and artifacts

Appearance:

Bio: Asmodea's life was never stable, but that's what happens when your parents are nomadic traders for a living. Buying whatever they could get their hands on in one place and selling it in another, the family traveled up and down Vradia a dozen times over. Being in contact with all sorts of people, Asmodea naturally met many magicians, and eventually started apprenticing under an Elvish wizard named Farn. Asmodea found that making enchanted objects came naturally to her, and started focusing on that area of magic. She's got several useful items, most notably an infinite purse and a wand specialized for mind magics.

Likes: A warm fire, magic, traveling, meeting new people

Dislikes: The cold, the dark, being alone

Skills: Artifice- Asmodea is well trained in the art of making magic items. Mental Magic- A recent addition to her skill set, Asmodea is starting to learn to delve into others' minds, picking out information and creating illusions.

Weaknesses: Cold- being cold-blooded, low temperatures can make her sluggish and lethargic.
Starting work now.
