Digimon: As the Lights Fade [Closed/Dead; Thanks You Everyone Who Participated!]

Brent and the others had been waiting at the table for some time. He had begun to wonder if something had happened to the other Digidestined. Everyone had heard that explosion in the distance, but had no clue what it was. I was kind of worried whatever caused it might use it to break in here.

"Hey, Beelzemon right? What if whatever caused that explosion tried to break in here?"

"That would be the day. We're deep in the mountain, and Angemon protected this place with some kind of ancient digital magic when we made this place. Even the Supreme Cannon of the Legendary Omnimon couldn't penetrate this place now."

Brent had no clue who this Omnimon was, but from the sounds of it he was pretty powerful, maybe on the same level as Alphamon from what I had heard about him. It put me a little bit at ease, but still completely confused on the situation. I looked again at the people sitting around me: A Russian Girl who prefers to do things her own way every time, a pretty relaxed boy, and another girl who, from what i've seen of her, isn't afraid to speak her mind. I wondered what the other Digidestined were like, probably completely different from one another like we were. It seemed like I wouldn't have to wait long to find out, as shadows and voices approached from the hallway we'd come from.

Leading the way was Angemon, followed by Kabuterimon, then four more kids, One boy with a Digimon similar to Nonna's, another boy with some kind of dog/fish mix Digimon, a girl with a small pink fluffball of a Digimon, and bringing up the rear was another boy with a small Digimon shaped like a ball with a horn on it. These two didn't seem to be getting along as well as the others.

"Kabuterimon, it's been too long... what's wrong Angemon?"

"Leomon... he's gone."

Agumon and Gabumon, along with Beelzemon, were shocked by this news. Obviously Leomon was super strong, so I guess him being defeated is a big blow to their cause. With this news delivered, Angemon returned to his seat, and I watched as everyone gathered around the table, now with two empty seats.

"Now that you are all here, it's time for you to learn why you have been brought to our world. To do so would take us back in time about two Digiyears... The Digital World, it is peaceful, protected by the greatest warriors to ever grace the Digital World, the Council of Five. These were all the most powerful Digimon known. These were great knights: ImperialDramon, Omnimon, Gallantmon, Susanoomon, and Alphamon. One day, they heard of a great evil, far in the unknown lands of the Digital World. They left to fight it, believing that they could stop this evil before it reached our world. That was the evil one's plans. After they left, the current Council of Five came to power, enslaving the Digital World under their iron rule."

So those were the original Council of Five, and why Alphamon was so important. Angemon paused for a moment to gather his thoughts, then continued.

"Over time, more Digimon began to rebel against this new rule, and thus we formed our group known as the Defenders of the Light. It was founded by me, and my departed partner Ophanimon..."

He looks over to the empty seat next to him, then continues.


"Our battle was a losing one, and we had begun to lose hope when news began to spread. Someone was defeating the Council of Five's troops with extreme ease. They were rumors that one of the Legendary Knights had returned, and they proved true. Alphamon, leader of the Knights, had returned alone. He fought the Council of Five, but even with all his strength and skill, he was outnumbered and outmatched. He was defeated, but he did survive. He's lost his memory, and de-digivolved down into his Rookie Level, Dorumon."

"Now I see why we're here, but how did we come here?"

"As one of Alphamon's last requests, Azulongmon sent out Digivices to all worthy Digidestined in the Human World. He sent out 10, only 8 have returned thus far."

Angemon was now quiet, and I assume this is the time to ask some questions. Most of my questions had been answered, but I wasn't sure about the other Digidestined.

@vancexentan @Shikaru You were both at the old lab building, right? So you were with Kabuterimon and Leomon when Diaboromon began his attack in the distance. Leomon left, and Kabuterimon is/did take you to Angemon's Sanctuary. You also met Kazero and Tsunomon on the way.

So write in what would have been going through your head as that was happening, and add on to it after you arrive. I can't think of anything much to help you on what to write for that though, because i'm me and you are you.

Shiny Keldeo's Star Wars the Clone Wars Characters [Spoilers... Duh]

CS-7546 "Sergeant Rocker"

Bio: One of many Clones of the bounty hunter Jango Fett, CS-7546, known as Rocker, was a Clone Trooper and Sergeant in the Grand Army of the Republic. Serving alongside CC-7501 "Commander Bronze" during the Battle of Geonosis, he is one of the longest surviving clones from that battle in the 286th Assault Legion. During the battle, he and Bronze became very close comrades, forming the base of Hailfire Squad.

After Geonosis, Rocker and the 286th served under Jedi General Amon Rictor for two years. Rictor, however, left the field of battle on good terms with the 286th when Jedi Matters removed him from command. After this, Jedi General Kelen Rolin, a Jedi he and Bronze had served with on Geonosis, took command of the Legion.

Several months later, after an ambush on Solus Niner during routine patrols, the 286th were taken back to Kamino for a routine health inspection. Unbeknownst to them, however, it was to reprogram the inhibitor chip implanted in their brains, with a multitude of orders that would be executed on command, against their will if necessary.

A few months after that, after completing the Campaign in the Solus System, Rolin ordered the entire 286th Legion back to Coruscant. When they arrived, they were paired up with CC-1010 "Commander Fox" and the Coruscant Guard as they secured the Senate Building. It was there that Palpatine revealed himself to be Sidious, and attacked the Jedi and Clones. After his escape, the 286th helped repel the ensuing Droid Invasion of Coruscant.

Over the next few years, Rocker continued to serve in the 286th Assault Legion, more specifically the elite Hailfire Squad, headed by Bronze himself. After returning to the Solus System after hearing of the Separatist invasion of the System, they successfully liberated Solus 1 through Solus 3, along with Solus 5. They were currently entrenched on Solus 4, when an orbital blockade trapped them without reinforcements. After holding out for some time, they managed to survive as a Republic Fleet broke through the Separatist Blockade. However, orders from Coruscant sent them back to Coruscant, leaving the campaign in the Solus System to the 224th.

After this, the 286th and many other legions were commissioned as a task force to hunt down the key separatist leaders, Grevious, Dooku, and Sidious.

Personality: Rocker is usually no nonsense, but does have a lighthearted side of him that few see. He's been through the war from the beginning, and that just makes him want to end this great conflict even more. He can generally be a man of few words.

Gear: He wears standard Clone Trooper Armor with the 286th Dark Yellow Color and Hailfire Squad's decals. He uses a long range visor on his helmet, and tends to utilize a Jetpack to reach higher, out of the way places. There he expertly uses his DC-15x Sniper Rifle to take down the enemies efficiently. For close range combat, he carries a standard DC-15s Blaster Carbine.

Make sure to add your character into the characters tab, and then add yourself into the story as best as you can. After that, make sure you find your way to the others at some point in the next few posts.

Even hidden away deep in their secret abode, Angemon could hear the explosion as well. He also felt something, a feeling of dread that he had not felt since the death of Ophanimon. Something had happened... He arose from his seat and left the room, leaving the Digidestined under the watchful eyes of Beelzemon. He traveled through their maze of tunnels to the secret exit they had come through before, and headed outside. He heard the voice boom through the forest.

"WEB WRECKER!"

So Diaboromon was on the hunt, which means the other Digidestined were in danger. He scanned the treeline for any sign of Leomon or Kabuterimon, and caught sight of Kabuterimon's helmet a good half mile out.

"Good, it seems they escaped unharmed... but this feeling, something isn't right, what could it be?"

He waited with his staff ready, serving both as a gate keeper and guard against the forces of the Council of Five if any would come to pass.

With some encouragement (and some minor force) Kabuterimon kept the Digidestined just ahead of him. He knew from the sounds that Leomon had shocked Diaboromon for a while, but he was back on the hunt.

"Everyone keep moving, don't look back! Once we reach Angemon's Sanctuary we'll be safe!"

He looked ahead and saw a small Tsunomon heading the way that they had just come. Unsure what it thought it was doing, he stopped it dead in its tracks. Following it was a Human holding a Digivice.

"Another Digidestined? Thank Azulongmon we found you in time, we must hurry! Diaboromon is on the hunt, and heading this way, we must reach the safety of Angemon's sanctuary!"

He forcefully turned the twosome and made sure that they were heading the right way once more. Soon rounding a bend in the forest he caught sight of Angemon waiting for them. They approached quickly, and Kabuterimon knew Angemon felt something wrong.

"Kabuterimon, it's been a long time old friend, let's get inside... where is Leomon?"

"Leomon... went off to face Diaboromon alone, to buy enough time for us to escape..."

"He... he what? Why would he do such a thing? At the moment our hope is brightest, we lose one of our greatest warriors and friends..."

Angemon was completely broken up inside. Leomon was one of his oldest friends, and to know that he was gone for who knows how long, it was nearly unbearable. He compared this time to when he lost his sister, less severe but still deeply hurting. He said nothing after this and led the way into their secret sanctuary.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Order 66 Rewritten [Closed/Dead; Thanks You Everyone Who Participated!]

Commander Bronze: "Well of all the clones in the galaxy, Scraper it's been too long! I wish you and the old Mudjumpers could come at a better time, but we definitely need the help here. We can catch up later, for now we need boys up high and front lines, spread your guys out as you see fit, and pass me a Z-6 clip out of that ammo cache!"

Bronze grabbed a ammo clip from the crates, and picked up his Z-6 Rotary Cannon with his cybernetic arm to reload it. Once he had the clip in, he revved it up and hurried back out to the battle.

Rolin had pulled back after seeing the small reinforcements to gather his wits and figure out the best plan of action now. He was still clueless how they were getting out of this, then something startled him. His comms systems screamed to life, bringing in messages from the fleet's heated battle in orbit. Then he heard Spade 1 called out in the chat.

"Hey, Ace, that you up there? I think we've got comms back up and running!"

The Excalibur was easily plowing through the remains of the droid fleet after one of the Lucrehulks had gone down. With the arrival of the 224th Fleet, the battle was slowly turning. The droids seemed determined to hold their ground, though, so it would still be some time before they were through to the planet's surface. Spade Squadron was clearing the Excalibur's area of Vultures and Tri's when Ace picked up a transmission.

Ace (Spade 1): "General, that really you?"

"Yeah, good to see you all have finally joined the party! Where you been, drinkin' on Nar Shaddaa or something?"

Flush (Spade 2): "Good to see your sense of humor is intact, along with the rest of ya. We'll be down pretty soon, this blockade is tougher than she looks. I'll patch you into command... Admiral, we've got someone on the line!"

On the bridge, Admiral Millon received a transmission passed through from Spade Squadron. He was relieved to see General Rolin standing there.

Admiral Millon: "General Rolin, it's good to see you still alive down there. Sorry we're late, but the Excalibur needed some waxing."

"I get it, just hurry up and get down here, we really need some help here."

Admiral Millon: "We'll be down as soon as possible General, just hold tight and stay alive."

The transmission ended and Millon returned to the battle at hand.

Again to everyone, i've been caught up in other things lately and haven't had time to post. I got a post up, and hopefully I will answer some questions with this post here:

@Xan the G Probably the best place for you to find them is when Kabuterimon is taking them to their base.

@NekoJordan Accepted for the Most Part, don't put a crest/digiegg yet though. For one, you won't find Armor Digieggs for a long time coming. And two, I'm going to figure out people's Attributes as they progress through the RP.

@Duthguy @Vancexentan Hopefully this isn't dead, I don't know about the rest of the people, but the holidays do tend to delay posts and such.

@Forsythe @Decker126 @Pyromania99 @Shikaru I think i've got a good point to post off of for both groups right now, so let's hopefully see some posts soon.

Leomon and Kabuterimon waited as well, knowing that soon they would have to force them or risk not only their own lives, but the children's lives as well. Suddenly, it became quite clear they were running out of time. A massive explosion occurred far in the distance, one very familiar to the two Champion Digimon.

"Oh no... that blast... that had to be..."

A voice resounded through the forest, followed by another explosion.

"WEB WRECKER! Time to clear out these pathetic rebels!"

Both Kabuterimon and Leomon knew the voice too well, it was time to force the Digidestined away to safety.

"Digidestined, you all need to run, now!"

"That is one of the Council of Five, Diaboromon! If he finds you, he will destroy you!"

Leomon drew his blade, and ushered Kabuterimon to the children. He lightly brushed the children and their digimon out of the building, pushing them behind Kabuterimon and pointing towards a nearby mountain.

"Kabuterimon, you know where our home is, take them there, I'll hold of Diaboromon!"

"Leomon, are you insane?! You won't stand a chance against him!"

"This is not up to debate here, take them and go! Even If I am defeated, I will return one day. Tell Angemon I'm sorry..."

Leomon turned and rushed towards the booming of the explosions and the voice of Diaboromon, disappearing into the brush. Kabuterimon looked after him, then back to the Digidestined.

"Alright, Leomon will not buy us much time, we need to go now, or we'll all be done for!"

He urged the Digidestined forward, watching over his shoulder time and time again.

"DIABOROMON!"

The dark Digimon stopped his rampage and looked at the one who had screamed his name. He smiled.

"Leomon, how nice of you to come and meet me here. Unfortunately, this is your greatest mistake you could ever make!"

Leomon said nothing, and held up his blade ready to strike. He rushed forward, but was instantly crushed by Diaboromon's claws. Then, Diaboromon fired his deadly Web Wrecker attack. Leomon, unable to move, took the full brunt of the attack. His time was over, but he had a few last choice words for Diaboromon as he faded away.

"You have defeated me, but hope still lives on with the Defenders of the Light... Alphamon lives, and the Digidestined have come to save this world from your darkness..."

Diaboromon was taken aback by these claims, and watched as Leomon smiled and blinked seemingly out of existence, his data completely digitized.
