[Shiny Keldeo]

Welcome! If you're reading this, than you decided to drop by for a visit and check out my profile! If not, then why are you still reading this right now?

The name's Keldeo, Shiny Keldeo. I joined the Guild about a two years ago after my first forum fizzled out. I thought I knew what I was doing with Roleplay when I came on the scene, when in reality I had barely scratched the surface of what I had to learn.

My first few RPs went bust, but with each failure I gained valuable experience to learn from, and eventually I started up a fairly successful RP known as Digimon: As the Lights Fade. However, it eventually went bust as over half the RPers, including my Co-GM, poofed and dropped without much warning.

Then came two of my longest running RPs. Pokemon: Legendary Guardians and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Past. Both were filled with great characters and I made a ton of new RP friends in them. Sadly, too many problems arose in both, and I was forced to shut them down.

I wasn't done with Legendary Guardians, however, and rebooted it to try my hand at it once more. So far, it's still going strong, thanks to dedicated people like Ninian and Light Lord, who've helped it stay alive through it all. I'm still not done yet, there's still more creative genius in me waiting to be tapped into!

Roleplay Information

I like to stick to Casual mostly. I've never tried anything in Advanced, but I just can't do anything in Free. I like to include way more dialog and information in my posts than I can post in Free.

I usually prefer to RP with Multiple Characters. It's easier for me to say more and do more, whether that being a Digidestined with a Digimon, a Pokemon Trainer with their Pokemon, or multiples of either.

Speaking of which, there are several subjects to which I usually work with in RP. The biggest being Pokemon. I'm up for (almost) anything, Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, or just being a normal Trainer is completely fine with me. Other interests include Digimon, Star Wars, and various other subjects that would be too numerous to name here.

Devon remained rather calm when she mentioned Celebi, but Lilisette was completely excited about it, it was odd, but it caught Selena completely off guard. "I... I don't... I'm not sure... I don't remember much..." She stuttered, with Ember stepping in. "Actually, I remember something about a story my mom told me when I was little. Although the sandstorms protected Folio, Celebi helped keep it green and lush. Nobody's sure why Celebi chose to do this, or where it went when the sandstorms vanished."

She looked back to the statue. "This is the first time I've ever actually seen what Celebi looks like. Not many of us in the village actually remember Celebi, just through children's stories or... well, probably some of the really old Pokemon here in town may have seen her... I'm not sure though."

Selena had finally regained her senses and now joined into the conversation. "I remember my mom told me to be careful around Celebi. If you startle it, it might accidentally jump through time, with whoever was nearby along with it... it's not something I'd like to go through, going to another time, knowing next to none of the Pokemon there, being away from your friends and family..."
Rico and Lulu the Riolu Twins & Company
[Lilac Meadow]

@Ninian @Light Lord @Polaris North @Iatos
Rico and Lulu nodded. Slowly the two were formulating a plan. "Lulu and I won't be too useful at long range, but we have an idea. You all have longer range moves, so you take out the guards in the trees." Lulu picked up where Rico left off. "While you're doing that, we'll speed in with Quick Attack and grab her, then jump right out. We don't have time for a long, drawn out battle. We'll also be a bit of a distraction while you guys can set up."

The twins got ready to rush in, storing up their energy as they prepared their Quick Attack's. "We've got your back, Lulu." Said Flare, with Peach and Lyla right behind them. Lulu nodded, and focused back. In sync, the Riolu Twins rushed out of the brush. The Guards immediately moved their attention to the two intruders, giving the others enough time to set up and open fire. Peach and Flare quickly started attacking a tree on the left, knocking a few guards out.

In the middle of it all, Rico and Lulu managed to reach Krissy, who was fast asleep. "They probably made her take something, like a Sleep Seed or something. Let's get her out of here." Said Rico, as the two helped haul Krissy towards the brush. "HOLD IT!" Commanded a loud voice, making everyone stop in their tracks. Everyone turned to the new arrivals, Ariados and his crew. "Think you can bust into our camp and do whatever you please, eh? Toss those ones over there, we've got some uninvited guests to take care of, boys." He ordered his minions, as they literally threw the group of three they had into a nearby tree trunk.

As the Spider Pokemon closed in, everyone braced themselves for battle. Then in a flash, a figure appeared behind the Spiders. "I vowed to let no harm come to these children, and I will keep that promise." He said, jumping over them into the group. It was clear now that it was Omen the Absol. "It doesn't matter how many Pokemon you bring, you're still outnumbered and going down!" Yelled the Ariados as the group closed in.

Attack Team
[Sky Tower Summit]

@Polaris North @floodtalon
A single Shadow Ball went flying towards Rayquaza, but he spun his long, snake-like body around it with the utmost ease, it didn't even touch him. "Valentine, I think you just made him angrier, somehow!" Said Bisharp as the furious Sky Dragon rushed down at them with Dragon Ascent. Everyone went flying, but managed to stand back up. Bisharp fired off a Dark Pulse, with Beartic firing off an Ice Beam. Hippowdon then tried whipping up a sandstorm, only to have it dissipate in moments. "What the..." He remarked, not letting it phase him too much.

Machamp was basically a moving distraction, having no real distance moves to use to affect the Sky High Pokemon. "You're barely scratching him, you gotta use something with some more umph!" He stated, dodging another close flyby by the dragon. "You got it." Said Beartic, firing off a Blizzard, scoring a direct hit on the dragon. But it merely shook off the icy blast and continued its barrage. "Well, we knew this wouldn't be easy... just keep hammering at it!" Said Bisharp, firing off another Dark Pulse.

Spirit the Lucario
[Valiant Village]

@Banana
Spirit was deep in thought, worrying about his children. So much so that he almost didn't notice when the little Ice Type from earlier called over to him. "Hmm? Oh, you're not inturrupting anything. I'm just... thinking right now..." Without even looking at the Ice Type, he spoke again. "So, you wish to join my guild? I really must warn you, my training is rigorous, sometimes on a level of even Legendary Pokemon. I'm not easy on anyone too often, and everyone has to do their part to keep the guild running. I want you to be sure that you could truly do that before deciding. Your past experiences mean nothing, your experience as an explorer mean nothing. You start here, you start fresh. Think about that for a bit."

The Master
[Infinity Mountain Peak]

@Iatos
Well, he was a seasoned and well traveled Pokemon to say the least. But then when he began speaking about 'Gods'. "Gods? Hmph, there is no such thing. Yes, many Pokemon tend to refer to the Legendary Council as Gods, Deities. But in the end, they are nothing more than Pokemon like you or me. Except these Pokemon have powers beyond some's imagination. Able to bend space and time at will, travel through dimensions, create entire worlds, and destroy them... that's why they are Legends. And those powers are what make them strong, and dangerous to battle alone. I'm guessing you've never actually fought a Legendary Pokemon, or if you have, not one of the level of the Council. You would stand no chance, no matter how powerful you believe yourself to be."

"Yes, there are the stories of young Pokemon defeating these behemoths, but they..." He paused for a moment. "...They had the entire world behind them, thousands, millions, billions, and more, all supporting them in their endeavors. Can you name one who remains on this earth that would support you right now?"

[Southern Island]

It's just past sunset on Southern Island. And two Pokemon are preparing for a long journey ahead of them the next day. "Oh big brother I'm so excited, we haven't been back there in so long!" Said one, flying around quickly and happily. "I know, little sister, but you need to calm down or you'll never get to sleep. We've got a long trip ahead of us tomorrow, you'll need all the rest you can get, i'm warning you." Said the other. "I know, but I'm just so excited I can't sleep a wink! Maybe... maybe they'll be there..." She said, kind of gloomy towards the end. "You never know, now come on, get some rest. Please?" The sister nodded, laying down next to her brother under the starry sky. Although she'd try, there was NO way she was sleeping tonight.
Breeze the Shaymin and Fuse the Luxio
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

@Ninian @Light Lord @Lucius Cypher
Knowing that Karaha would be coming with them was reassuring. As of late many Guilds and Organizations have been switching to the Three-Pokemon Teams instead of the classic Four-Pokemon Teams. She preferred the Four-Pokemon Teams herself, safety in numbers. "Alright, we'll meet you there Karaha." Said Breeze, waving goodbye as she flew down the staircase. "Um... right... what she said, see you there Karaha. Come on Gren." He said, descending the stairs himself. He thought about what the little Aron had said. "Hmm... is it really worth the risk? To learn a truth that could end up hurting you all that much more? Well... he's young, kids his age with questions would go looking for the answers now wouldn't they..." He followed the Shaymin out, taking the lead once outside.

[Folio Town - Town Square]

"Alright, we should definitely stock up for a journey down to the trunk. The number one stop would be the Kecleon Market right over there, let's go." He pointed with his paw, heading over to the Kecleon. "Ah, good morning Fuse! Another outing already? Haven't you already been out today?" Fuse looked back towards the dungeon just south of them. "Well... today's an exception, I'll need two Slumber Orbs and one Escape Orb please. Unless you have anything special in stock..." The Kecleon shook his head. "Nothing special today, but I'll grab those orbs for you. Give me a second." He said, disappearing into the back of his shop. A few moments later, he reappeared with three blue orbs. "Just put it on my tab, I'll pay it by the end of the day." Said Fuse, and Kecleon nodded.

Breeze was looking at the entrance into the Dungeon they would be exploring. It seemed to branch off in two directions, one heavily treaded and worn, the other partially overgrown and unkept. "We'll be going in that one, that leads to the Lower Trunk." Said Fuse as he moved alongside her, pointing to the overgrown side. "Seems... homey... as long as we stick together we'll be fine, I know it." Fuse nodded and turned behind him. "Well, Gren, you sure you're ready to do this?"

Selena the Bayleaf and Ember the Quilava
[Folio Town - Town Square]

@Ninian @Light Lord
Well... this was a situation... Selena had put herself right in the spotlight... but she didn't feel scared for some reason. She turned, heading towards the outer reaches of the town.

[Folio Town - Outskirts]

It was a place not many Pokemon visited, which is why Selena spent so much time exploring here. This was an old part of town, abandoned for the most part as the Pokemon moved into the inner town. She noticed footprints on the leaves, recent ones. Someone had been here... so it wasn't so secret after all. "Well... it's right up here." She said, motioning towards a thick cluster of leaves. She moved in and brushed them away to reveal a cave in the leaves, supported by several arches. In the center was come kind of pedestal, with a statue of a small Pokemon on it.

"Wow, this is beautiful! But... what is it? And who is that Pokemon?" Asked Ember, moving up to the statue. "I read about it in some books at the Guild one time, it's Celebi, a Time Traveling Legendary Pokemon. I don't know why it's here, of all places, but it's here." Ember looked over it closely, not wanting to touch something like this. "It looks REALLY old, like older than my mom old. This might have been some kind of shrine or something, but it's amazing it's still here after all this time!" Selena smiled, she hadn't been this happy in years.
Brent Ignia and Lily Meadows
[New Amber Town - Outside Maple Pokemon Lab]

@Ninian @Light Lord @Leoven @void liege
When Devon, Celes, and... Nasir the Zoroark... man it was still hard to believe, but they still believed it, finally came back, Devon asked them a question. "I'm working towards the Viore League Tournament here in a few months. It's a shared dream with Cyndaquil here that we want to be the Viore League Champion one day." Lily smiled, looking over at Chikorita. "I'm heading for the Viore League too, but it's just to see the sights and challenge myself. I don't really want to be a champion, too much responsibility for me. Contests could be fun, though. I saw a girl on TV one time competing in a Johto Contest, she had an awesome combination with a Blaziken and Glaceon, it was just beautiful!"

Brent looked over when she mentioned contests. "I like the idea, but I'm just not into contests that much. Trust me, I like seeing my Pokemon look their best, but each trainer and each Pokemon have their own way to do that." Lily giggled and responded. "Yeah, you're right about that. Still, the goal of a journey is to have fun and experience things you never have before. I'm sure I'll get to do that." Brent nodded, then turned to the others. "So, what are you two going to do here? I don't want to judge a book by its cover, but I'd say you'd be going for Gym Battles, am I right Devon?" He asked. Then Lily turned to Celes. "And what about you? Contests, Gym Battles, or both? Or maybe neither?"

Then they heard a call from the doorway, it was the Bishop lady from before. "I almost forgot, to all of you, the PokeMart here in town is very generous to trainers! If you need some Pokeballs to start out with, that would be the place to go! Good luck all of you!" She yelled, returning back to her work. "I'm all good on Pokeballs, dad made sure I stocked up before we left Stormbutte." Said Brent. Lily nodded her head. "Same, I was fully stocked before I left Goldenrod, I'm all set!" She replied.
Since neither of the others at the lab seem to want to post, I'll get a post up here in a bit.
After @Iatos Posts, I'll throw a post up.
@void liege @Leoven One of you needs to post next.
@Light Lord Not exactly what I was going for with the Hidden Grotto... I was thinking more along the lines of mysterious shrine or something.
Breeze the Shaymin and Fuse the Luxio
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

@Ninian @Light Lord @Lucius Cypher
Fuse was caught a bit off guard by what the Guildmaster had said, and a bit by what the Aron had said. "Well, Guildmaster, I'm not sure who we can spare right now... when I came in most of everyone else were heading out on jobs. Along with those fake requests, we've had a sudden influx of Rescue Requests from both the trunk and the surrounding desert. If you truly will it, Guildmaster, I'll do it. But I'm beginning to agree with Karaha about the trunk, something's just not right down there..."

The young Aron's story really tugged at Breeze's heartstrings, she couldn't even imagine not knowing who HER true parents were. Then Fuse mentioned there were little Guild Members available, and he was against going even after hearing that heart wrenching story. "If you need someone to go with them, I'll go." She said, reaching into her Treasure Bag and pulling out a weathered badge. "I was trained by Guildmaster Wigglytuff at the Treasure Town Guild, former member of Team Windflower. I can handle myself in a dungeon, and if you're short..."

Selena the Bayleaf and Ember the Quilava
[Folio Town - Town Center]

@Ninian @Light Lord
The Quilava looked around questioningly, as if wondering the same thing. "To be honest... there's not much to do around here. It's generally pretty quiet here in Folio, because nothing ever happens. It's really boring, so it's hard for kids our age to get an outlet, which is why some resort to... less pleasurable activities..." Then Selena spoke up.

"Actually... I know somewhere nearby that I'm pretty sure is a secret to most of the Pokemon here in town. A hidden grotto, I've never really figured out what it was for..." She replied, surprising Ember. "And you'd really share that with us?" She asked. "Of course, that's what friends do, right? And we are friends, right?" She replied. "Of course I'm your friend. I would never lie about something so precious. Whoever would doesn't deserve a friend anyways." She said, giving a smile.
I've actually just noticed something. I wrote a story a while back, a Mystery Dungeon Story. I won't go too heavy into the detail, but I'm already seeing a lot of similarities between some of the characters in that and the ones I have made in this one.

And no, I didn't do it on purpose either. I intended for this to be separate from that. But looking at it now, it's too perfect an opportunity to pass up. Just a little note I had for this.
