[Shiny Keldeo]

Welcome! If you're reading this, than you decided to drop by for a visit and check out my profile! If not, then why are you still reading this right now?

The name's Keldeo, Shiny Keldeo. I joined the Guild about a two years ago after my first forum fizzled out. I thought I knew what I was doing with Roleplay when I came on the scene, when in reality I had barely scratched the surface of what I had to learn.

My first few RPs went bust, but with each failure I gained valuable experience to learn from, and eventually I started up a fairly successful RP known as Digimon: As the Lights Fade. However, it eventually went bust as over half the RPers, including my Co-GM, poofed and dropped without much warning.

Then came two of my longest running RPs. Pokemon: Legendary Guardians and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Past. Both were filled with great characters and I made a ton of new RP friends in them. Sadly, too many problems arose in both, and I was forced to shut them down.

I wasn't done with Legendary Guardians, however, and rebooted it to try my hand at it once more. So far, it's still going strong, thanks to dedicated people like Ninian and Light Lord, who've helped it stay alive through it all. I'm still not done yet, there's still more creative genius in me waiting to be tapped into!

Roleplay Information

I like to stick to Casual mostly. I've never tried anything in Advanced, but I just can't do anything in Free. I like to include way more dialog and information in my posts than I can post in Free.

I usually prefer to RP with Multiple Characters. It's easier for me to say more and do more, whether that being a Digidestined with a Digimon, a Pokemon Trainer with their Pokemon, or multiples of either.

Speaking of which, there are several subjects to which I usually work with in RP. The biggest being Pokemon. I'm up for (almost) anything, Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, or just being a normal Trainer is completely fine with me. Other interests include Digimon, Star Wars, and various other subjects that would be too numerous to name here.

[Route 701 - Pokemon Center]

It appeared Olivier was going to record the battle with the laptop he pulled out of his backpack. "I've never seen them live either, I've only ever seen them on TV. This is gonna be great!" He said. The contestants were beginning to move to their sides of the field now, their Pokemon squaring off for battle.

Then Olivier mentioned something about his Turtwig. "Huh? Oh, yeah, I grew up in Solaceon Town in Sinnoh, it's a pretty relaxing place." Then the battle began, and boy did it start off quick. Wye was quick to Mega Evolve his Metagross Mali, but the new guy didn't seem to share his thoughts. He kept his cool and combated the Mega Metagross with his Feraligatr surprisingly quite easily.

They kept throwing attacks back and forth at each other, it was an epic clash alright! Then finally it seemed the new guy had decided the battle had gone on long enough, and right in the middle of one of Mali's attacks, he Mega Evolved his Feraligatr! "So Feraligatr can Mega Evolve! I never knew that!" Said Michael, who watched as the Mega Feraligatr proceeded to decimate the Mega Metagross of Wye's, winning the battle in one shot.

Afterwards he named himself as Brooks, and headed back inside the Pokemon Center. "Wow... that power... that was an amazing battle, I don't think I've ever seen a battle that intense! And... I don't think that Brooks guy was even half trying! He's amazing! I've seen Pokemon League Battles on TV at the Lily of the Valley Islands Tournament that weren't even half as amazing!" Simply put, Michael was impressed.
Alright, this battle has shown of the first of many Custom Mega Evolutions for the Viore Region. Here are the details for you all:

Feraligatr

Type: Water/Dark
Ability: Armor Plating: "The damage taken from most moves is reduced somewhat."
Mega Stone: Feraligatite

[Route 701 - Pokemon Center]

@Ninian @Sketcher
Micheal watched the whole ordeal go down. It seemed a clash of Mega's was upon them, and when Olivier mentioned moving out of the way, Michael had no objections. "I'm with you, this is going to be epic!" He said, sitting on the same bench which happened to be the bench he had been sitting on moments before. His Pokemon finally noticed what was happening, and sat up, patiently waiting for this battle to begin.

Brooks smiled. He knew a trainer like that couldn't resist a challenge, he's faced many of them over the years he'd been on his journey. He also noticed him pull out a camera like device, probably to record the battle or something. It didn't faze him in the least. He moved to the opposite side of the courtyard, his Feraligatr stepping in front of him. "Remember, this is a one on one battle, It's over if either Feraligatr or... Mali, didn't you call your Metagross? Well, it's over if either of them are unable to battle. And... I'll let you have the first move." The smile on his face grew larger, this was going to be fun.
Selena the Bayleaf and Ember the Quilava
[Folio Town - Glyph's Guild]

@Ninian @Light Lord @MagusDream
As Guildmaster Glyph explained the situation in detail, the idea that some kind of world ending threat was upon them drove quite a bit of fear into the kids. But for once, they weren't going to back down. Usually Selena would have locked herself away in her room by now, and Ember might have done the same in this situation. But as scared as they were, they were smart enough to know there was no avoiding what was coming. And, surprisingly enough, Selena spoke first. "Only... only one partner? Usually... usually I wouldn't get involved with things like this, I detest fighting the most of anything! But... if something wants to harm us, our world, I... I can't stand by and let that happen!" Inside her head, her emotions were conflicting with each other like never before. "What am I doing?! What am I saying?! Can I actually do this? I've got to do this! I've got to try... but what if I fail..."

Ember spoke up afterward. "Selena has a point! We may have only met Devon today, but If he needs help, then I'm in too! We're old enough to join the Guild, too!" She said confidently. Secretly she'd always wanted to be part of the Guild, maybe even one day finding her father because of it. Selena finally came to a decision. "I... I agree with Ember... I... I want to help Devon too... Please... Please let us join!" She said, with a slight tinge of fear in her voice but also with a confidence even Ember hadn't heard from the Leaf Pokemon yet.

Then she also looked over to the odd colored Kirlia. "What about you, Lilisette? You want to help too, right?" Asked Ember. Obviously Devon and Lilisette had hit it off amazingly earlier that day, she'd be surprised if she declined the offer.

Breeze the Shaymin and Fuse the Luxio
[Folio Trunk - Town Path F8]

@Ninian @Light Lord @Lucius Cypher
Fuse looked at the young Aron again when he responded. "Gren, I'm going to be brutally honest with you, there's a fine line between courage and stupidity. I get you didn't think you had much time, but like Breeze said, if they live in the Trunk, they know how to handle themselves. We, on the other hand, should have been completely prepared for something like this. If I'd known how little you actually knew, I'd have grabbed plenty more supplies."

Then Letho spoke his piece. "Exactly. We'll stick with you, but if things at ANY point get out of our control, we're getting the heck out of there, no matter what you say." Breeze nodded. "Right, our priority is you. If we can help anyone else down there, that's great. But you're the main focus." Fuse looked down a nearby corridor and stopped. "Hold up!" He said, heading down the corridor. He called back through. "Found 'em, stairs are over here!" He replied. Breeze continued to watch their flank, making sure there was nothing around. But... it was all quiet, as the Town Path was said to be.
Brent Ignia and Lily Meadows
[New Amber Town - Main Street]

@Ninian @Light Lord
Seeing Devon had the situation with Celes taken care of, Lily and Brent made their way back outside. They waited outside the open door. "Well, Devon's got it right. Vertigo City is the next town ahead, just south of here. But..." He said, looking at his orange colored Pokegear. "...The time it is right now, there's no way we'd make it by sunset. Luckily, there's a Pokemon Center about half way between New Amber and Vertigo, we can stop there for the night."

He stuck his Pokegear back into his back pocket, and looked down the Main Street of town. Everything was proceeding as usual. They noticed the missing Dragonite over towards the Pokemon Center Battlefield still. "Hey Celes, looks like your friend is just across the street! Nothing to worry about." She said, Brent catching a bit of nervousness in her voice. "Nervous?" He asked her, Lily nodding her head slightly. "Just my first time really 'Out' on my own, it's a bit nerve racking." Brent chuckled. "Don't worry, you'll get used to it. I'm used to having to do things myself, ya know. My dad being Professor Maple's assistant, my brother always traveling, and my mother being Chief Foreman at the Viore Power Plant in Stormbutte, I had to take care of a lot of things myself."

Lily breathed a sigh of relief, if you could call it that, and looked back into the store. "You two ready? We better get moving soon according to Brent." She said a bit more confidently.

Well, they were on their way. Michael looked to his two Pokemon as he sat out behind the Pokemon Center they were at. Turtwig was calmly munching on Pokemon Food, while Glameow was eating her personal favorite Sitrus Berry. While she was doing that, he was brushing her, something she had come to enjoy. "Well, we're on our way now. According to my Pokegear, the next city up ahead is Vertigo. It has a contest hall there... should we go for it? Or maybe Gym Battles? If that's the case..." He continued looking at the map on his small device. "...Then Riviera Town is where we'd want to go. What should we do?"

Turtwig looked up from his food, cocking his head slightly. <Well... I'm not one for all those fancy performance moves like we saw on TV, I'd stick to Gyms.> Glameow looked over to her Grass Type companion. <Personally the stage looks amazing, being able to show off amazing combinations in front of thousands!> Well, it seemed his Pokemon were as divided as he was. Luckily, a welcome distraction revealed itself as what looked like a teenage girl tripped over another trainer's Totodile. It seemed they were both fine, luckily. Michael chuckled and headed over towards the trainers.

"Couldn't help but notice that accident, at least you both are okay." He looked at the clearly veteran trainer's Pokemon. "You've got some cool Pokemon! My name's Michael, by the way. Michael Stint."

Brooks
[Route 701 - Pokemon Center]

@Sketcher
They had been patrolling the woods for some time now, and there was luckily no sign of trouble. Both he and his Feraligatr were getting a bit hungry, so they headed to the nearby Pokemon Center. "Head on around back, I'll be out there in a bit." He told his trusted partner, who nodded and headed around the back of the building. Brooks headed on inside, up to the front desk of the center. "Could you take a look at these Pokemon, Nurse Joy? I just want to make sure they're all ready to go." The Nurse stood up, setting a Pokeball Tray on the counter. "Of course, just place their Pokeballs on here and I'll do a quick checkup on them."

Brooks nodded, setting five Pokeballs on the tray. With that, he headed out back to meet up with his partner. When he got out there, there was a small group apparently chatting outside. One thing in particular caught his eye: A Metagross, with what looked like a Mega Stone on its leg. "Metagross, eh? We haven't fought one of those before, have we?" He asked Feraligatr. Feraligatr shook his head in reply. "Well, it's been a while since we've had a good challenge, what do you say?" Feraligatr gave a thumbs up to its trainer, indicating he was ready for battle. Brooks nodded his head, and walked over to the group.

"Excuse me for interupting, but I noticed your Metagross has a Mega Stone. I was wondering if you'd like to have a battle against my Feraligatr, one on one." He said, raising up his hand in a fist to show his Mega Ring on his finger.

Sierra Hymn
[Vertigo City - Pokemon Center]

They'd finally made it. It had taken a few days, but they finally arrived in Vertigo City. After such a long journey, the first thing Sierra did was head to the Pokemon Center. Once inside, she got a room and settled in. She held a light green Pokegear in her hand. "Well, according to this, the Vertigo Contest isn't for three more days. So we've got plenty of time to practice our routine!"

Her Pokemon, on the other hand, weren't in the mood to do any practicing. They were tired out from the walk from Riviera Town. <If she's right, we can just relax then today. I'm exhausted...> Said Fennekin, laying down on the bed. <I'm with you, I can't figure out why she's still so full of energy...> Replied Deerling, laying down on the floor next to the bed.

Seeing her Pokemon ready for naptime, Sierra sighed. "Alright, you guys win, we'll start practicing tomorrow. You can stay here, I'm going to go out and explore the city a little. I'll be back soon!" She said, closing the door behind her as she headed out.
@Ophidian Lol

Also, I'll get a post up for my two new characters later. One of them is in Vertigo City and the other is at the Route 701 Pokemon Center, so that'll be interesting.
@Gryphon Pretty much. I couldn't really pick out of the starter groups for Viore, so it's kind of like rotations or it's different across Viore. And, if you're coming from out of region, It would be best to pick from that region's starter group.
Sierra Hymn

Appearance: Coming Soon...

Gender: Female

Age: 11

Personality: Sierra can come off very shy when you first meet her, and even as you get to know her. She can be jumpy at times, and is not the kind of person you want to sneak up on. However, she can come through in a pinch. If one of her friends is in danger, she will lay her life on the line if she has to to protect them. She tends to be this overly compassionate to those close to her, but that just makes her all the more irreplaceable of a friend.

Hometown/Region: Lilac City, Viore

History: Sierra was born and raised in the port town of Lilac City. Like most kids, she attended the Pokemon Trainer's School there, but seemed to find it hard making friends and even getting to know her teachers. This was due to her parents usually keeping her around the house when she was young, and then being tossed out into the world having no idea what to expect. She managed to make it through Trainer's School, though, and was well on her way to becoming a Pokemon Trainer.

Despite her shy personality, she had dreamed of one day becoming a Pokemon Coordinator, after seeing multiple contests on TV. She also figured that would help her get over her shyness and somewhat stage fright. So she practiced by herself, imagining herself in front of the massive crowds that would come to every contest. With no one really there, she loved it, so she figured it wouldn't be that bad if there were people there.

However... the first year she was to receive her Starter Pokemon she was late, and all of the Pokemon were already chosen by the time she arrived. So, gloomily, she returned home and started practicing again.

A few months later, as she was in her backyard, an injured Deerling stumbled out of a nearby woods. Immediately she ran to help the poor Pokemon, using what she'd learned in Trainer's School to somewhat stabilize the Season Pokemon until she could get it to the nearby Pokemon Center. Thankfully, Deerling made a full recovery. The two became close friends, and Deerling began to live with her at her home.

When the time finally came for her to get her Starter Pokemon again, she was the first one there, making sure not to miss it this time. The Starters given out that day were the Kalos Starters, and she picked Fennekin as her partner. When she returned home, Deerling became her second Pokemon, and she set off on her journey towards Vertigo City, where her first Pokemon Contest awaited.

Legendary Guardian: Meloetta

Michael Stint

Appearance: Coming Soon...

Gender: Male

Age: 12

Personality: Michael, or sometimes Mike for short, tends to help people whenever he can, whether or not he can actually help their situation or not. He tends to remain very upbeat. He's very open about everything, though, not one you'd trust your deepest darkest secrets to. Most people can read him like an open book. He tends to remain very upbeat, and is quite the optimist, trying to find the silver lining in everything.

Hometown/Region: Solaceon Town, Sinnoh

History: Michael grew up in Solaceon Town in the Sinnoh Region. He lived a perfectly normal childhood as one could expect. He learned about many of the ancient legends of the Sinnoh Region from his parents through bedtime stories, which have always intrigued him but he's never fully explored the possibilities.

Very early on it was clear that Michael had a good heart. He would help people at any chance he got, whether that be helping another kid up if they fell down, or fetching a newspaper for an elderly person. Sometimes he would get in over his head, though, like the time he ventured into the Solaceon Ruins in search of a Glameow that was said to have gotten lost within.

He managed to find it and get it out, but not without an earful from his parents when he got home. After that, though, they made him give up the Catty Pokemon. That wasn't the end, though. The Glameow would always remain nearby, probably looking for a way to repay Michael's kindness.

Like most kids, he attended Trainers School to learn to be a Pokemon Trainer. However, he was bored with his studies, believing he was learning the same thing over and over again. Because of this, he flunked and was forced to retake several courses. This held him back a whole year and a half from receiving his Starter Pokemon.

When he finally managed to pass his last course, he headed straight to Hearthome City with his Parents to get his Starter Pokemon. Out of the three Sinnoh Starters available to him, he chose the Grass Type Turtwig. Upon returning home to Solaceon Town, he prepared himself for his first Journey, and was met by the Glameow that had remained there for the past few years. It still wanted to repay his kindness, and decided it wouldn't leave until it did. The best way to do this: Become his Pokemon. So Glameow became his first successful capture.

He had decided though that traveling through Sinnoh would be too much like most other Trainers, touring around their home regions. He wanted a little more adventure, and soon decided on traveling to the Viore Region, which was rumored to have the most diverse pool of Pokemon Species in the world. So, he bought his ticket, and off he went.

He arrived within a few hours and quickly made his way to Prof. Maple's Laboratory, where he received his Viore Pokedex. After that, he started off on his journey immediately. However... he's yet to make it past the Route 701 Pokemon Center, since he just arrived the day before.

@Banana I'd say no on Third Stage Evolutions for Guildmembers. Second or First Stage Evos for those. Non-Guild Affiliated Pokemon like Law Enforcement are excluded, and Pokemon Associated with "The Master" are excluded from this rule. Same with Civilians.
