[Shiny Keldeo]

Welcome! If you're reading this, than you decided to drop by for a visit and check out my profile! If not, then why are you still reading this right now?

The name's Keldeo, Shiny Keldeo. I joined the Guild about a two years ago after my first forum fizzled out. I thought I knew what I was doing with Roleplay when I came on the scene, when in reality I had barely scratched the surface of what I had to learn.

My first few RPs went bust, but with each failure I gained valuable experience to learn from, and eventually I started up a fairly successful RP known as Digimon: As the Lights Fade. However, it eventually went bust as over half the RPers, including my Co-GM, poofed and dropped without much warning.

Then came two of my longest running RPs. Pokemon: Legendary Guardians and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Shadows of the Past. Both were filled with great characters and I made a ton of new RP friends in them. Sadly, too many problems arose in both, and I was forced to shut them down.

I wasn't done with Legendary Guardians, however, and rebooted it to try my hand at it once more. So far, it's still going strong, thanks to dedicated people like Ninian and Light Lord, who've helped it stay alive through it all. I'm still not done yet, there's still more creative genius in me waiting to be tapped into!

Roleplay Information

I like to stick to Casual mostly. I've never tried anything in Advanced, but I just can't do anything in Free. I like to include way more dialog and information in my posts than I can post in Free.

I usually prefer to RP with Multiple Characters. It's easier for me to say more and do more, whether that being a Digidestined with a Digimon, a Pokemon Trainer with their Pokemon, or multiples of either.

Speaking of which, there are several subjects to which I usually work with in RP. The biggest being Pokemon. I'm up for (almost) anything, Mystery Dungeon, Ranger, or just being a normal Trainer is completely fine with me. Other interests include Digimon, Star Wars, and various other subjects that would be too numerous to name here.

Current Roleplays
Pokemon: Legendary Guardians [V2]

Finally got it out. Had a bit of trouble actually putting it together just because of the sheer volume of things going on, but I think I got everything. If I missed anything, feel free to tell me.

Also, @floodtalon, since Mizu was your old character that Abysmal was using, I feel no one would be more qualified to use Mizu than you at this point.

Meeting in the Guildmaster's Office
[Medburn Town - Medburn Guild]

Lachlan turned when he heard Trevor's statement and apparent unawareness of the conversation at hand as he started to leave. "Hey, wait!" He'd turn to start after him, turning to Celina for a moment. "You're right, so let's go after him. We have to stick together no matter what!" He replied as he took off past Nigel. "Hold-" The Lucario started to say, before a hand reached up as if to say no. "Let them go, Nigel. We have to realize it won't be as simple as training a child from our world. They have much to learn." Arnold said.

"So, how many Guild Leaders have decided to attend?" Arnold asked. "So far Lively Town's own Expedition Society from the Water Continent has agreed, as has the Treasure Town Guild and Valiant Village Guild from the Grass Continent here." Cobalion began. "There are also guys showing up for the Pokemon Paradise from the Mist Continent, and I think A.C.T. is showing up for the Air Continent. None from the Desert Continent yet though." Keldeo finished, turning to grab an item from his bag as a Confuse Ray flew past his head by mere inches. "What the..." He'd remark.

Then the odd Vulpix began his rant about revenge of some kind, a speech that slightly confused everyone present. And as quickly as he'd arrived he was gone, leaving everyone besides Cobalion blinking as if to ask if that had really just happened. "That was... strange..." Terrakion would comment before returning to the task at hand. "That kid mentioned making a team. The way he acted just now, that would be a disaster waiting to happen." Nigel would say. "Either that, or it could be a chance to better himself. You weren't always one to follow the rules when you started out." Arnold replied.

"Either way, he needs to have an eye kept on him if he joins in." Kale would chime in, having been relatively silent for the duration of the meeting. "Can we get back on the matter at hand? Without any more interruptions?" Nigel finished as he closed the door, latching it shut to ensure no more distractions.

Eira the Amaura
[Medburn Town - Medburn Guild]

At first it seemed like everything would continue relatively normal from there on out. That was before Ember once more bounded ahead and disappeared around a corner with Quick Attack. "Hey! Wait up!" She'd yell as she and Hanna took off after her. Hanna had stopped to assist a Noibat whom Ember had apparently knocked over on his way. Afterwards Hanna took off ahead while Eira remained. She looked at the Noibat, who seemed to be in pain by the look on his visage. And considering he wasn't flying, she deduced it was his wing. "Hey, your wing okay? I'm sorry if my... friend... did that, he's a strange one..." She'd start, before Lachlan (and presumably Celina) came into view.

"Hey, Trevor, come on man, we can't give up that easily. Did you even hear what that big guy said? They have faith in us!" He'd say, looking at the Amaura after noticing her presence. "Oh, I didn't see you there. Thanks for stopping Trevor before he got too far." He'd say, Eira shaking her head with her eyes wide. "N-no, I didn't..." She'd rebuke as Ember came back into view rather unhappy now it seemed. "I think he did... and none too politely..." She'd look over to Hanna. "She's right, Ember. You need to apologize." She'd reply.

Drip the Brionne
[Medburn Town]

After leaving the guild moments before the various events afterward occurred, Drip and Rick headed down into town. It seemed to be finally getting back into the swing of things after the earthquake and massive battle that had taken place. "It still surprises me how quickly Medburn rebounds from disaster." She'd comment as they passed by a Machoke surveying the frozen building from earlier. "How's it look, Cho?" She'd ask, the Machoke not taking his eyes off the structure. "Frozen. I'm surprised the ice hasn't cracked by now. That must have been one whopper of an attack that froze this." He'd reply.

The two continued on into town afterwards. "That girl, Eira, she has a lot of potential. I don't know about that Ember, but she'd be great to have on someone's team. Don't you think?" She'd ask as they approached the Cafe.

@floodtalon
Mech the Bisharp
[Wilds]

The Scolipede vented his frustrations over the mission, but Mech remained calm and relaxed. As he finished, a slight grin appeared across his visage, or what could be counted as a grin. "Relax. We knew the Swords would be in town. We just wanted to see how you'd react to the situation, and if you could escape." He'd cross his arms. "The Vulpix is no longer a target of interest. And, at least for now, the three confirmed targets are... out of reach, protected by the Medburn Guild."

He'd turn before he continued. "You have, however, proven yourself worthy of being part of our group. We were watching, and you handled the situation rather well for being confronted by four Legendary Pokemon. Welcome to the Dark Prism." He'd conclude. "Now, your next mission-" He'd pull out a map of the known world. "We want you to spy on the conference being held in Lively Town. You won't be going alone, though." A figure would emerge from behind a tree, a Gabite. "I'm sure you're acquainted with Mizu. You two will be partners. Got it?" He'd finish.
Sorry about lack of response. I'm working on a post, but I've been slammed with extra work for the past week or two. Should be out soon though!
@Ninian @Light Lord
Selena the Bayleef and Ember the Quilava; Omen the Absol, Serenity the Sylveon, and Krystal the Glaceon
[Team Horizon - Folio Town Guild; Team Sanctuary - Valiant Village Guild]
[Folio's Trunk - Waypoint]

Omen listened carefully as the group talked, taking in every word, including the realization that the oddly colored Totodile named Devon seemed to have amnesia. That pretty much proves it. That's why he's so special, and most likely why he was after him... no, is after him. He thought, his gaze shifting to his own team. "You sound pretty confident there, Lilisette. It's not easy to make your name in the world these days, ya know. But you've definitely got the faith and drive for it." Serenity said, giving a smile before catching her partner's gaze. I know that look, and it's not a good look... what's he got on his mind now... She'd ask herself in her mind.

"Yes, our travels have brought us far." Omen finally spoke up. "We're on what you could call an extended mission, stretching across all five continents." He explained. "Well, they are. I'm just really tagging along to see the sights..." Krystal then caught Omen's gaze as well as he flashed it at her. "O-of course, that doesn't mean I'm not helping. I'm part of the team for a reason." She caught herself, a bead of sweat dripping down from her forehead.

"Well, Devon's fine with it, so we are too. Right?" Ember said, looking over to Selena. "Right. And, if you wouldn't mind, I'd really like to know about places outside Folio. I've... never really seen much of the world." She'd say, her eyes dimly gleaming at the thought of learning more about the world. "Sure, me and Krystal would be happy to tell you about anything you want to know that we know. Omen's not much of a talker, though." Serenity would agree.

"Well then, we gonna stand around all day or get a move on? Daylight's burning, guys, and most of you don't want to be caught in the desert at night." Krystal blurted out. "If you all are prepared, we're ready when you are." Omen finished.

Fuse the Luxio and Pepper the Typhlosion
[Team Daybreak - Folio Town Guild]
[Folio Town - Glyde's House]

Pepper listened to Glyph's words carefully, taking in every word himself. "Of course you'd do that, I knew you would. Normally, I'd hold my ground and fight it out. But, I see your point..." He'd sigh. "I wish I could give you more to go on, but I don't even think Celebi knew for sure." He'd stop and think for a moment. "The power I saw, it almost seemed like... no, it wouldn't be possible." He'd dismiss the thought.

Then the next bit of news caught him completely off guard. "Ember... so... the fate of the world rests on the shoulders of a few, including my little girl... can't say I'm surprised." He'd respond. "I knew if the situation grew dire enough, one of those Humans would be summoned. You knew it too. It's a familiar story. A Human with no memories of their past, form a team with a most unlikely group of partners, and set out to save the world from the darkness that threatens to destroy it."

He'd pause for a moment. "The Sol Sybil, she gave the prophecy of the Great Uprising brought about by a Legendary Pokemon. How about this one..." He took a breath, and began to repeat the words he had memorized since he first heard them.

"Two forces collide. They are alike, yet vastly different. If one side breaks, all will end." He spoke. Closing his eyes he shook his head. "That's what Celebi told me. I have no idea what she meant by this, all I can tell is that it doesn't end well for any of us." He would say.

"Two forces, alike but different... that could be just about anything, from the sounds of it. Can't foreboding omens be more specific?" Fuse thought out loud. "I was hoping you might be able to make something out of it, Glyph. I puzzled my puzzler until it was stumped trying to figure out what that meant." He'd chuckle a little, then clutch at his stomach in pain. "Ack, I shouldn't laugh. They never did give me anything more than a few spare berries for my wounds, they weren't the kindest of Pokemon..." He'd admit.

"Oh, where's Hikari at? She went to go get Rhys just before we got here..." Fuse would mutter as he could do nothing but watch the old Fire Badger in pain.

Meeting in the Guildmaster's Office
[Medburn Town - Medburn Guild]

The meeting continued, having finally found calm waters between the arguments. "So... what would be our next move? You all seem to already have a plan." Arnold remarked. "Not our plan. Not since before recorded history has there been such an event that has called for such extreme measures..." Cobalion said sternly. "He's calling all of the world's Legendary Pokemon to a summit somewhere beyond the Hidden Land, including us. We'll be leaving tomorrow ourselves." Keldeo finished.

"I see... and then, what about this plan among the Organization Leaders?" Arnold asked. "Their meeting will be taking place in Lively Town in three days time. They're requesting Guild and Organization Leaders attend to discuss their options." Cobalion stated. "There'll be a guy there who'll record their decisions for Arceus, and compare them to what they decide." Keldeo replied.

As they continued discussing their plans, a very light voice spoke up, going almost unnoticed by the group. Terrakion, who was in the back, was able to hear the voices over the discussion. "Well, who do we have here?" He asked, bringing them to the other's attention. Arnold had a bit of shock on his face, which cemented their identities to Cobalion. "Hey guys, where'd you go? We weren't finished... yet..." Would come a third voice as the Ralts entered the room as well.

"I see... it was said that three fell from the Stargate when it opened. I believe these are the three in question. Arnold?" Cobalion would ask. Lachlan shrunk. Oh boy, the jig is up, the cat's out of the bag... He thought as he was stared down by the Legendary Pokemon and Guildmaster. "Y-yes... this is them. We have... attempted to keep their secret as well as we could though." Arnold admitted. "I see..."

"That Noibat there said something about forming a team." Terrakion said. "No. They are not in any way prepared, Guildmaster." The Lucario would argue, entering the room. "Nigel makes a fair point..." Arnold began. "It's more than a point. They do not even have basic control over their own moves. How can you possibly expect them to..." "Enough." The room grew silent.

Lachlan gulped slightly at the sudden silence. "They will have much to learn. It is not every day you are forced from your own life and brought to another world. That is what happened, is it not?" Cobalion would say, Lachlan at least looking on in wonder. "How did you..." He would start. "It has happened before. They will learn. They will survive. And they will get home. And if you cannot handle the job, I know someone more than qualified to do so." He'd finish. The room grew silent once more.

Eira the Amaura and Drip the Brionne
[Medburn Town - Medburn Guild]

As suddenly as he'd departed, he'd returned, with what looked like flowers. Eira blinked for a moment, trying to process this act. She was thrown back into reality as Ember went on to propose they make a team at the Guild. "T-team? Like, a real Exploration Team or something? I-I don't know... It's dangerous isn't it... And... I'm not very strong..." She'd say.

"Give me a sec." Drip would say to Rick as she moved over to the Ice Type. "Hey, I'm not the strongest either. I'm never the best on missions, but I always try my best. Anyone can do anything if they put their mind to it. Besides... you're stronger than you think. Remember what you did before?" She asked, both remembering back to when Eira froze a good portion of a crumbling building in place.

"M-maybe... maybe I could..." She said. "That's the spirit. Of course though, since you two are underage, you'll need your parent's permission first." She explained. "R-right. Well, then, we'd... better get home then... I'm ready, how about you? Ember?" She'd ask.

Drip smiled. She was happy to brighten someone else's day. "Alright. How about we head down to Kelly's Cafe? Everything should be cleaned up by now." She'd suggest.

@floodtalon
Mech the Bisharp
[Wilds]

Mech was content to sit there all day. He was the guy who told the lower ranks what to do. He'd send them on their assignments, and sit back while others did the dirty work. His eyes were trained on the road leading towards them as he sighted a spinning, circular bug heading his way. "Well it's about time. That took way too long." He'd say as he stood up, watching the bug roll up. "You're late, Ignition. Is it done?"
Alright, just waiting on @Ridlins.
@Ninian @Light Lord

Selena the Bayleef and Ember the Quilava
[Team Horizon - Folio Town Guild]
Omen the Absol, Serenity the Sylveon, and Krystal the Glaceon
[Team Sanctuary - Valiant Village Guild]

[Folio's Trunk - Waypoint]

After the new team had entered, Selena returned to her teammates as what could be considered a conversation began. "Sorry... I've got a tendency to think out loud... a lot..." The Glaceon apologized, still blushing somewhat. The Sylveon came forward next, following after the Totodile's offer to travel together. "We should at least exchange names before doing anything like that, right? I'm Serenity. My flustered sister next to me is Krystal. And the dark, silent type over there is Omen. We're Team Sanctuary, from the Grass Continent under the Valiant Village Guild. It's a pleasure to meet you." She said cheerfully.

Omen remained rather silent during all this, as usual. He was deep in thought. I know we couldn't have passed him by accident up there... he let us pass on purpose. He's up to something, but I haven't the slightest clue what... He thought, before turning to the group, looking them over before speaking. "You seem rather green to be crossing the Altepa, no offense implied." He said, looking over to the veteran Poliwrath once again. "That being said, it's dangerous for even veteran teams to cross alone. We'd be happy to travel along with you, until we reach Gerudo." Omen finished.

Selena and Ember then moved next to the oddly colored Totodile. "You sure about this Devon? We just met them, after all..." Selena expressed her worries, Ember looking at her before looking back to Devon. "She has a point, but it wouldn't hurt to have some help. Especially if that creep from earlier shows up." Ember replied, perking Omen's interest as he listened in with his keen hearing. So, they encountered him as well... but we did not meet in the dungeon ourselves... perhaps he was after them... the pieces are beginning to come together...

Serenity and Krystal moved forward, joining their team leader. "It's up to you all. If Omen's fine with it, then so are we." Serenity spoke up. "Yeah, he is our Team Leader after all. Besides, you all seem like a fun bunch to travel with!" Krystal expressed her part.

Fuse the Luxio and Pepper the Typhlosion
[Team Daybreak - Folio Town Guild]
[Folio Town - Glyde's House]

The Typhlosion grinned (something he hadn't much done since Fuse had been with him) as Glyph expressed his concern for his well being. "I'm fine, Glyph. Just a scratch, I've been through worse. I'm more worried about everyone else..." He looked over Glyph's shoulder at the young Trapinch. "Do you... think we could go somewhere more private? Wouldn't want to worry the young one." He commented as he got back to his feet supported by the Flygon. "Fuse, was it? You've come with me this far, you should hear this too."

[A Few Minutes Later]

The trio had made their way inside, away from the prying eyes and ears of the young Trapinch. Pepper winced slightly as he sat down. "To understand what I'm about to tell you, I have to explain where I've been these past years..." He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "You remember... when I came to you about my possible discovery of a third Dungeon here in Folio? Well... I found it. I know it now as the Folio Treetop."

His memory flashed back to when he first discovered it. "I found it in that Hidden Grotto with the Celebi Statue, out in the outskirts. I didn't know what to expect... and before I knew it, I had been captured by the inhabitants of the Treetop Haven. They weren't Dungeon Dwellers, nor Civilians. Something... in between. Their leader was... A Celebi. They held me there for some time before I could even begin to gain their trust. They wanted nothing to do with the outside world."

He took another breath as he continued. "The Celebi had been monitoring the actions of both the Guild, and the Manifest, using the very roots of the tree to spy on both. Recently, she discovered something horrifying..." He paused, then continued once more. "I urged her to set me free, so I could warn you of the coming danger. And she was eventually convinced, somewhat. She knew that if Folio were to fall, their haven would be next. Which is why I stand before you now... well... sit."

Finally he opened his eyes. "Xicu has been granted a power I had not thought possible... I do not know how powerful she is now, but I know this much..." He locked eyes with Glyph. "If you try to face her in battle, you will lose, you will die, and Folio will burn." He let the seriousness of his statement sink in. "In your current state, you stand no chance of defeating Xicu. I... don't even know if she can be defeated now. She is also beyond reason, she will not stop. We must find a way to gain such power ourselves if we stand any chance... of survival." He finally finished.

Fuse, for one, was in shock (no pun intended). What he'd just said pretty much cemented every possible fact about the prophecy they had known. He gulped, looking up to see Glyph's reaction. "If... if he's telling the truth... what are we going to do... what can we do, Guildmaster?"
As soon as @Ridlins and @Evanist post, I'll start moving the plot forward as best I can for @floodtalon and take over control of Lachlan for @AbysmalDemon.

I'll try to keep the integrity of his character the best I can.

And, since I'm going to be controlling the story for now, you may see a few things from my previous works pop up here and there. It won't change anything that happens in the story to an extreme, the plot will remain as it was. I'll just throw some tidbits here and there to keep things interesting and exciting.
