We time skipped to keep it moving. I don't think training is in any of the trainer's minds just yet. We may do some battling in Dune City too if we get some free time. Though Abysmal seems to have something planned, so I'm getting the feeling it won't be leisurely battle.

I'll make an NPC trainer. Should we keep a list of all the trainers we've made? In case we want to reuse them and have them come back with a stronger team?

They delayed a little bit, and were actually a little lost for awhile on Route 2, but they managed to find the way, and arrived at the Pokemon Center in Dune City to stay the night. Pokemon Centers usually had areas where trainers could rest, they had no beds for the well-off, but they usually let some people stay the night. Finding an inn to stay at wasn't exactly an option for them, seeing as they were all kind of poor.

When they were settled into the Pokemon Center, a crowd began to form in front of the large wall mounted TV.

"We don't know what or who caused this tragic incident to happen, but the Region's Pokémon Center who recently hosted an event yesterday for the trainers all over the region was suddenly engulfed in flames. We don't know where the Pokémon in the sanctuary have gone, but we do know that 45 sanctuary guards, lab assistants, and scientists were killed in the tragedy. We don't have any words on where the Pokémon Professor is, but her body has not yet been recovered from the wreckage."

"Hey that's... That's in Estoria right?", he asked. Unprecedented was all one could gather from this, they were there literally this morning. Right now they were trying to eat dinner, but now they were more concerned about the town they were in not too long ago. Not a few moments passed before he got a call on his old Pokegear. He pulled it out and answered it, it was his mother.

"Are you okay? Did you see-",

"Yeah I saw, I'm in Dune City so I'm fine. How about you?",

"Oh that's good, fortunately we don't live too close, your dad went out to help with the rescue and emergency response efforts... It's... Not going well, from what I hear...", his dad was just an office worker, but it looks like citizens were stepping in to help too. He looked at the screen again, there was some footage of Pokemon giving a hand as well.

"Alright, tell him not to wear himself out...", the event put a strange feeling in him... Was it rage...? There was a welling feeling in his stomach... After saying goodbye he put his Pokegear away, and turned to everyone else.

"First thing tomorrow, I'm going to challenge the gym", was all he said.

Next, will there be anything happening in Dune City? Any update of some kind for it? Or we free to go off on our way here?

@AbysmalDemon So what do you think about the system I mentioned for random trainers? We could even get it started soon as the deal with Team Nexus is over. I guess for most of our characters, the tutorial will be up against Team Nexus.

Trial Area - Savannah

As he came to the split in the route, he looked at the areas before him... Savannah, forest, and a mountainous area... For a moment he considered the forest, but the moment he saw the monkey Faunus take to the treetops he began to double back on his decision, and the mountainous area was a no-go. He wasn't going to be able to get the stances he needed for power-strikes in the case he needed to fight, so it only left the savannah.

He started with having his semblance run ahead of him. He can sense the surrounding area of the semblance clone, where the ground is, walls, attackers, and so on, but he can't see through it's eyes, so having it split too far from him in these circumstances could be risky. Before, it was only to land and move ahead, so it had some risk if there were Grimm laying in wait, this time though he would prefer it be his vanguard, so he can choose a new route should the clone run into some trouble. If he can avoid unnecessary combat, all the better. Now that his clone was a good distance ahead, it was time for him to follow in it's path, the "safe" route that it was securing for him.

No worries mate. Sorry there's not much we can really do. If you need help with the RP at this hard time, do not hesitate to ask someone to help keep it going while you deal with your grief should it become too heavy.

She might just recognize the crest, but not directly tie it to Akane. I'm sure members of yakuza families who are a bit more involved would know of other families at least.

The mall area on Saturdays were always a bit more populated, the half-day at school helped with it as many students would take this extra time to hang out, go take care of club things, or do the week's shopping. Rui in this case was simply going around to places he hadn't gone to for awhile, like the maid cafe, or following up on Shizuka about the costumes... Well, knowing her, she might already be thinking of costumes for everyone in the team.

For now, he was at the arcade to play a few matches before heading off to the maid cafe. Maybe they should use that place as a "meeting place"... They didn't really have anywhere like that, it was always for awhile just wherever was convenient, not to mention Kami was always on the move so they didn't have that freedom, but having a dedicated place to gather would be useful with a group this size. Maybe he should talk to Shizuka about it...

They'd be more interesting though if they were initiated by someone other than yourself though.

Should we designate one person from each group to do these "random encounters" for another group?

Like say there are two groups of players, A, B and C, for the first group, and players 1, 2, and 3 for the second group.

Players A, B, and C are given random encounters by player 2. But players 1, 2 and 3, are given random encounters by player C.

And it can rotate too, first week or two encounters, the ones giving random encounters are players C and 2, and then the next few will be by A and 3, and it just keeps rotating.

What each of them do is simply "make a character" to suit the route, and challenge any of the players from the encountered group to a battle, and then it's played out in titanpad. Sooner the better.

And seriously, this could create some really fun supporting casts for our characters, maybe ones who have garnered some connection on first meeting, or are just really popular, can appear again later with an even stronger team, and if we have enough, we can do the Fordis League in a tournament setup like they do in the anime.

I'll let @AbysmalDemon mull over this idea, but some level of randomness in this RP would be nice. The best part is that this doesn't need dice or numbers. Just someone who feels like making a random character for the sake of it.
