For those in Jarde's party I'd like to request a grace period, as Sordan shouldbe showing up soon to help out. Though he's a swordmaster, his thing is assassination so he'll offer new options.
Since we'll be starting with this many, I'd like everyone to tell me what they want to just straight up do and I'll throw you right in rather than mess with VN-like decision-making.

Oh yeah also for newbies we're most active on the Discord.

Location: Ravine > Pyramid

Following the blanket of destruction from Rose Yaeger, there was... Nothing, or at least there seemed to be nothing. Slight, jarring disruptions in the smoldering and smoking ground, filled with craters, debris, and dead oversized scorpions. The ravine became but a blur for him as he passed through, undetected, unopposed. Keeping his output just a few percentage below his stealth's maximum capacity meant his active camouflage wasn't going to be perfect, but with how fast he was moving it didn't really matter. Unless they had advanced sensors, he would only look like a minor glitch or a trick of wind and light.

Soon the ravine would open up, giving way to a ruined road, becoming more and more complete as he sped down it, using whatever cover he could, keeping himself as difficult to detect as possible. His peripherals made out the pyramids, or rather the first, surrounded by a deserted town based on his sensors, but as he got closer he began picking up life forms coming from within the pyramid... Plantlife in abundance? As well as a rather large life form on sensors, perhaps some sort of guardian?

His suspicions were confirmed as soon as he entered the pyramid. It was like walking outside into a jungle, except it was the other way around. Regardless up ahead, a competing faction member was locked in combat, and so he chose to stick to the shadows, maintaining stealth at maximum capabilities... In a place such as this, his abilities in stealth can only get him so far, and direct combat would be risky unless he was assured to win or gain an advantage immediately. The faction member was identified... One of the Demons of Hell, database shows Nina, a dragon, though this was obvious on observation alone, or rather, Dragon King, based on info a sort of race beyond normal dragons. A direct confrontation with her would surely be too risky.

Tellian Camp > Heading for Jarde's Party

The whispers of the wind making an ode to the dead as the swordsman stepped among the corpses. Some familiar faces, some not. This at this point was not an unfamiliar sight to him, the wind sang the same ode, whether it was the forest, the plains, or the deserts he called home, it was always deafeningly quiet following a battle, and then soon the crows would come down, or other scavengers, and the ground rots as everyone is returned to the earth.

He entered the Tellian camp tent, the commanders were not present so it would seem, and neither were their bodies. So his peers of similar rank were either safe, on the run, or died but simply away from camp. Well regardless, it didn't make much difference. Still, the normal course of action was to find a way to regroup. So far he was in the dark, and so shedding light on this would be best. Regroup, inform superiors, wait for the next thing to do.

Exiting the tent he began to make his way back down the route, heading back to the campsite he was at previously, and then following the tracks.
It'd just make sense for him to head for Tellius next, so he'd go with Jarde's party then if that's the direction they're headed.

He'll catch up when they run into a battle, but I'll make a post for him heading that way.

Combat and Death

(This is important)

Following a brutal 20 year long war, ending the use of a now identifiably volatile and unsafe energy nicknamed "Dogma", the world has entered a scientific age of industry, the Industrial Age as scholars have noted it for now. With the emergence of airships as a common form of transport, the invention of the cartridge for firearms already well-known at the time, and the birth of Magitek, has caused society to make leaps and bounds that even it's population fears being left behind. Many however recognize these rapidly changing times as the time to get busy, or truly be left behind.

Your story begins at the cusp of a new age following this era that is about to end. The individuals that will forge the era to come, as heroes, or villains, out of interest, duty, or the thrill of adventure and battle. From the bottom up you will elevate to the levels of legendary heroes and gods, the final frontier of fantasy. Become revered, for your power, for your deeds, or become feared beyond compare.

This is Final Fantasy, Reverence

STRUCTURE

The RP will be structured in parts, separated by the different nations. For example the first part will all take place in Raelin, and then Escain, and then so on. Each part ends when the major story segment ends, and everyone's characters must be moved to the next nation for the start of the next part. After the major story arc for each nation ends, there will be a grace period for everyone to wrap up business or start business that links them to the next nation. Near the end of the each story arc I will inform everyone what the next nation will be.

Though I should not yet worry about that, each story arc is while short in structure, will be expected to last a decent amount of time.
I want to stress the fact that each new nation we go to will be a great chance for people to join, or for you to create a new character.

To the old thread
Just wondering which group would be best for me to tag along. Is there any that needs people?
