Race: Owl Harpy
While most Harpy species could be considered bird brains, the harpies that take after owls are notably more intelligent and wise.  While their scientific pursuits are stymied by the fact they don't have hands as others do they make use of their dexterous and clawed feet for manipulation or simply watch and make observations from a distance.  They construct libraries in their cliffside towns and regularly associate with other races, trading knowledge for curios from other cultures.

Magic:  Nothing that would be considered inherently magical.  That cape that is draped around his back are actually his wings.  He can unfurl them in an instant and take to the skies to fly.  They are sturdy and he can drag another person of equal size with him for a short time, his feet acting as grasping claws.  They also act as a pretty capable cloak and helps to emphasize his emotions and reactions.

Abilities:
Notable Scholar, when it comes to academy or lore, he knows a bit about everything with specialties in human and monster biology, sociology and culture.
Quick Witted, being a learned man, owl...  he can think and talk on his feet, trying to diffuse the situation with logic and honeyed words as necessary
Quick Study, learning new things just becomes easy to him.  Give him a few day in a library and he'll have memorized maps, found a few stories about something, and can recite crucial information about whatever he needs.
Worldly Traveler, you need to know how to survive in this hostile world, and he's got some know how.  Whether its preparing meals, catching them, making shelters, mending clothes, finding trails, etc, he's prepare to rough it if needed.
Multi Lingual, languages help bring people together, and thus he knows plenty, acting as interpreter or diplomat.
Claw to Claw Combat,  while no expert, tussling with the various dangers of the world has taught Ozzy to know how to use his wings, claws, whip, and sometimes his teeth to get out of sticky situations.  He knows its better to avoid a confrontation altogether, but if in trouble he's at least capable enough to escape without losing too many feathers.

Leather Bound Whip - His main source of defense.  Pain works great on beastial monsters but he doesn't want to do anything permanent.  He knows that some monsters crave a male for various reasons and he'd rather not be put into that position if he could avoid it.


Personality: Ozzy has grown up around intellectuals for most of his life and that bit of intelligent superiority kind of rubs off.  He feels egotistical when hes able to teach, but thats mainly only cause he loves too!  Ozzy is a social butterfly when it comes to talking to others, really picking their brain with a genuine interest into how they live their lives.  Always curious, he loves to study, make observations, test theories and share results.  It has given him a healthy positive disposition and most can definitely see him as a source of joy and enlightenment.  He is deeply passionate in his goal of uniting humans and all monsters together and will pry into a couple to the point of annoyance when he comes across them, making sure to record whatever is said.  Outside of those moments, Ozzy is always smiling and will fly to the moon and back to make others do the same.  He knows its favors and actions that will bring folks together.  He considers his humanitarian efforts, just part of the job, one hes thankful for.

Background: In an unassuming mountain town that had developed relations with the local harpy population, a Harpy teacher married a Human Sociologist.  Ozzy is the result of this partnership, a considered miracle by their parents.  His early childhood was spent on their expeditions to far off lands with his parents.  After marriage, his mother quit her position in order to be with her husband, and took up his banner.  While the world was in turmoil, the two wanted to change that.  Finding a way to bring cultures together.  Ozzy took their teachings and xenophilia to hurt, and discovered a passion for it.

Around his teen years, his parents managed to get some backing to building something amazing.  They were going to call it, an embassy.  It was supposed to be a neutral meeting place where peoples of all shapes and sizes would be welcomed.  Dwarves, Demons, it didn't matter in the slightest.  Ozzy took up the mantle of trying to gather intel and funds to help make his parents dream come true.  While his father figured him too young, he was old enough to be considered an adult for a harpy, and so after some prodding and preparation, Ozzy was sent out.

And so, Ozzy took to the skies, moving from land to land, spreading the word through action and education.  His expedition so far had acquired minimal success, but there were always more opportunities in every village and city he visited.  Thankfully his appearance allowed him to not stand out too much as human or non human, so he could work without too much questions or stereotyping.

Favorite Girl:  Throughout the whole encyclopedia, I found I like the Unicorn Type Centaur the most.  Call me old fashion, but I love the idea of my one and only.
