Current The way some people spell makes me wonder about their pronunciation.

They say it's about the journey, not the destination. This is true of many things. Pizza delivery is not one of them.

TFW you know what you want to happen but the words aren't cooperating. Why is plot suddenly so much harder to write?

Glad to see I'm not the only follower of Lord Cato, god of wisdom, on this most auspicious Superb Owl Sunday.

Bio

I am an adult, though I don't usually act like it. I'm a voracious reader, and not overly picky about books. I am artistic in a variety of areas, including music, drawing, writing, and sculpting. I have a minor obsession with dragons, and love the color violet. Fantasy is my preferred genre, be it past, future, urban...as long as it has a fantasy flavor to it. I also like scifi, mystery, and some horror. I am crazy, and I like tormenting my characters. But I don't bite...much. ^.~

I am going to post as soon as I can! Very eager to jump in. <3
@Belle I don't see any mistakes!
@LadyRunic I am...but I can't post until either @Belle replies to Max again, or you bring Sini back.
@Lady Selune Hm, true. Although I imagine German army uniforms might be acquired. I mean, their guns are German issue, as well as being used by the Swiss. =P Swiss army knives are useful, and I imagine some were captured in the skirmishes on the Swiss borders. I can /probably/ let Izkry drop at least the karbiner, but Belasy would keep hers -- she's had it for years. She'll be upset if she loses it. Notebook, flashlight, and lighter are fairly innocuous. And Izkry has a couple hidden pockets sewn into his things for his whip -- possibly even in one of the gun cases, if they keep one karbiner in one. <3

The biggest things are pocketwatch, Belasy's karbiner, whip, Izkry's swiss army knife, and Belasy's water. All else can go, if needed. Those are hardest to replace -- I mean, they /can/ go, but those two would rather keep them.

Is that a yes, then?

Bel: *frowns at his watch*
Iz: Hey, you're keeping dad's gun! /AND/ your bracelet! So it's only fair!

@Lady Selune HAVE A SHEET!
@Oak7ree *snickers*
Man, the only responses I have to this are pictures of all-female troops from Israel that I took on my trip there. And they don't quite have the same level of humor. =/

Very much BAMFs, though.
@Prophecy *laughing so hard she's crying* I CAN'T.

And I WILL get my sheet done today. So I can post! <3 *scurries off to write. Screw CSes anyhow. T.T*
@Lady Selune ...How is your char using a gun that wasn't invented yet? O.o

@Oak7ree *snickers at asparagus* And I don't think they'd've...um...planted? every possible landing zone. But you do have a point, and antiaircraft fire is also an issue. But the idea of the jeep is to be dropped /near/ and then come in on the ground.
I asked a friend about equipment for paratroopers, even though we're not actually paratroopers, and he linked this. Apparently jeeps were often flown in on gliders (for the Allies), and supplies could be dropped along with the soldiers. Cool, huh?
