I've never participated in a slice of life RP and I know nothing about the TV show (yeah, I know...), but I'll keep monitoring the thread. :-)

Laurel is a lawyer by day, crime fighter by night type of person. But even though she had previous background in fighting from self defense classes, she wanted to further her training and that's exactly what she did whenever she confronted Oliver and found out that he was 'The Arrow'. After many failed attempts of his training and his sudden disappearance, Laurel took matters into her own hands and just went out there and fought against the different groups of people that was terrorizing the city. Whether she won or she lost, Laurel did not let that stop her from still wanting to save the city from the vigilantes that was running amok. When Oliver found out who she really was and what she was doing, he urged her to stop before she got herself hurt or killed but Laurel wasn't just becoming 'The Black Canary' for the city but for her sister, Sara Lance, as well.

Laurel may not be too skilled in martial arts but she will definitely get a few punches and kicks in and will strike with the steel rod that is practically two steel rods connected together. She does not really like to use her high sonic device known as 'The Canary Cry' but it does come in handy sometimes - Especially when she needs her current opponent to back away or to gain the upper hand.

It's been awhile since she has seen Oliver or anyone associated with 'The Arrow' to be exact. It hasn't stopped her from still trying to save the city that she was born and raised in as she hopes that someone from 'Team Arrow' or anyone for that matter makes an appearance soon because she cannot save Starling City all by herself. She probably can but does not want to take the risk.

"I'm The Justice You Cannot Run From" ^___ After her sister's death, Laurel decided that Starling City still needed 'The Black Canary' but instead of fighting the hardened criminals, she just fought the guys that liked to hit on women. She did a somewhat good job of defending the women that were being terrorized as the local news was all over the long waited return of 'The Black Canary'.

"Hi, I'm Laurel Lance and I'm a recovering addict" ^___ It's no secret from her family that whenever she thought that her sister, Sara, was dead the first time that the bottle chugging began along with the pill popping. The pill popping did not get out of hand until she wasn't a lawyer anymore. When Sara was alive and she found out after seeing her, it was when she checked herself into rehab and actually wanted to get help. It wasn't until recently that the pill popping started again but that was after Sara's death, for real - Something she wished that she did not have to witness. But she is wanting to get help again.

The start will be the night after Renault's name day celebration, it was nothing big but it was a relaxing night for all to enjoy. However during the festivities a courier reached the castle stating that Lord Tyrion Lannister was on his way through to Kings Landing and they were required to be gracious hosts.
