@Silver Fox-_- . . . Such jealousy. . .
*pats head* it's okay. I'm sure you'll enjoy it soon..
Mhmm what to name this character?
I named my Fallout 3 one Commando (Cammy for short) mhmmmmmmmmm

@Silver Fox-_- . . . Such jealousy. . .
@Lunarlors34 Hey, if you like NaLi then you do you my friend. Don't let the haters stop the power of shipping. Personally, I'm one of the many hordes of people that adore NaLu. To be honest though it might not even be Lucy, it might just be Natsu. He's like such a stereotypical "I will protect my friends!" type character. But I'm so in love with that type of guy. Like who doesn't wanna have that kind of guy as your best bud?
@Silver Fox It's just not for everyone really. Also don't even talk to me about ponies.
And just for the record here, if anyone here likes MLP please don't think I'm hating on you. If you like it, then you go ahead and you like it don't let my cynicism and over-criticalness deter you from what you like.
So I watched like the first two seasons of MLP and I... well I get it. It's cute, it has some pretty decent music actually not even going to lie, and who doesn't love a cute little story about friendship? I only stopped watching it when the creators became self aware of who their fanbase actually was and the show kind of stopped catering to little girls and started catering more to the bronies.
I took big issue with this, because part of the charm of the show was just how innocent it was. Like it was the kind of thing that I never really obsessed over or thought about. It was just a cute little show I could enjoy with my, at the time, baby sister. So I basically stopped watching. And then there was a big thing about the bronies coming over to Steven Universe and they basically wanted to do the same thing (They wanted to be called the 'Gemtlemen'. The creators of the show basically shut this down by saying that they didn't need to segregate themselves from the other fans with a name and they should just enjoy it with everyone else.
So I'm glad that happened because elitist bronies actually make me embarrassed for actually giving the show a chance and being pleasantly surprised.
Rant over.
@Silver FoxI'm jealous if you right now, I'm stuck in school for the next six hours before I can even but my copy of the game.
<Snipped quote by Silver Fox>
We can't be friends.
I can understand that. In all honesty it has a much younger target audience compared to Adventure Time and other cartoons. I just appreciate it because it's diverse, unique, doesn't rely on cliches for cheap humor. It also doesn't rely on offensive humor like other cartoons (Like there are quite a lot of larger characters, MAIN characters even, in Steven Universe and there are absolutely 0 fat jokes).
Idk Steven Universe to me is the definition of a quality kids show. It doesn't teach any harmful messages (Unless you're a homophobe and count the obvious gayness between certain characters), it has effort put into it and isn't just slapped together because kids are stupid and watch anything, and it's so CUTE I LOVE IT *WRAPS UP IN STEVEN UNIVERSE BLANKET*
@Silver Fox I liked Gurren Lagann... but I don't know why. By all accounts, it's kind of dumb (it's also not a very good show). However I wouldn't say it's a bad show, because in my eyes bad does not mean the absence of good. There are plenty of bad shows out there that I love. And that I can't explain WHY I love them. Like back in high school I used to really like Lucky Star. And Lucky Star is like the epitome of shitty slice of life anime, but I loved it. And I feel so embarrassed when I tell people I loved it.
I've never liked Adventure Time. But in all honesty, Steven Universe is probably one of my favorite cartoons right now. I vastly prefer it over many animes or real tv shows.
@Silver Fox ahh those are good ones~ except the wolfs rain one. Never watched that one, can't talk about it for that reason.
@Silver Fox Wolf's Rain is a good length for me. Or maybe I'm just biased because I absolutely love Wolf's Rain. Cowboy Bebop is also amazing. I used to own a box set of it but I think my best friend borrowed it and then lost it when he moved houses.
Soul Eater was also pretty long. I liked Soul Eater when I was 15. I don't think I'd like it now, but it was good at that time.
Idk I'm fickle when I come to anime. I also tend to be a bit of a harsh critic. Like even to things I enjoy. I enjoy them, but then I go and point out their flaws and reasons as to why they aren't great shows. I'm the funnest person at parties.
Yeah the only long running anime I ever watched was Naruto because I was a child and I knew no better. I just don't like the over-long shonen stuff. Like I got 30 episodes into Bleach, and then basically decided that it should have ended there and stopped watching.
I haven't tackled One Piece because I imagine my reaction will be the same.
