Well, part of it is that I've never been past the fifth gym in any pokemon game because I either lose the game or, in the case of the original blue version, can't freaking find it.

I usually manage to get allllll the way to the end. But quite a few times I stop there. But quite a few I've 'beaten' the final champion/team people. Just not alllll the extra stuff after.

True True. Sad thing with a online game I can't cheat and restart after finding out what level they are XD and Gym leaders dont tell you. As I haven't played the original red and blue, I dunno if these gym leaders are tougher. But they seem to compared to FireRed and LeafGreen. Then again, those I could tell what level they were.

I usually minorly enjoy the story as that's my favorite parts of a game. Though Pokemon is generally similar each time with maybe a little twist now and then. Like Black and White throwing in a interesting concept (though in the end it led to the same result)

As for Jackson... I agree. Out of all the rivals I e encountered. He is the worst that I have enjoyed beating the heck out and rubbing his snot nosed face in xD
