And yet Sloth's was too long lol.

Man, that Optimus Prime sheet sure is long.

I got your back @Sloth

I love you too, guys.
Mine is bigger.

Not by much, and mostly because you put larger spaces in between your categories.

Man, wait until you see Hephaestus. His hammer is gargantuan!

I don't think I'm doing this joke thing right.

Fair enough.

Something tells me I'm not doing this "being funny" stuff right.

You're colder than the Iceberg lounge during Mr. Freeze's visit for the Christmas party.

There, at least you can do it better than me.

Everyone complaining that Sloth's Green Arrow sheet is too long but no one says a word about the length of Gowi's Batman sheet.

This is all part of a secret competition where I try to overtake the Batman sheet in sheer length or die in the attempt. So far, with literal months of work, I can firmly say I have given up hope and eagerly await the sweet embrace of death.

I was waiting until I finished reading it. Only thirty-four more chapters to go.

Phew, at least I'm exempt from jokes until my novella sheet is finished.

@Lord Wraiththis is one of the first decent conversations I've had with Sloth (not that we've really had indecent conversations). No offense to @Gowi's ghost.

I'm not sure I want to know what this is implying. At least tell me it's a good thing, right? .....Right?

Oi!

Where's Black Canary gone?

Dinah Laurel Lance, Black Canary - Born in Gotham, Dinah's family would move to Star City while she was still very young. After losing her younger sister, Sarah, to a car accident in high school, Dinah traveled to the Middle East and Asia, training under various martial arts masters, most notably Sandra Wu-San and Richard Drakunovsky, better known as the enigmatic Richard Dragon and Lady Shiva. Dinah returned to Star City following the news of Malcolm Merlyn's thwarted Undertaking. She would encounter the Emerald Archer following Thomas Bolt's assassination by the man known only as Onomatopoeia early in her vigilante career. The relationship would evolve over time and the two have been dating for about a year. To say she was surprised that Star City's guardian angle was spoiled billionaire Oliver Queen would be an understatement. Raised as a fighter from a young age, Black Canary has proven to be one of the best hand to hand fighters on the planet, multiple times. This, in conjunction with her supersonic "Canary Cry", makes her a deadly opponent for anyone, let alone common street thugs.

No but really, I kind of decided it'd probably best not to go the whole dual sheet route rather than implementing some stuff from Dinah into the bigger supporting cast and all. I mean, imagine the shit Morden would give me if he had to read two backstories worth of needlessly long character sheets.

Besides, I've already got a reputation for never finishing stuff, I'd be working on a dual sheet for like, weeks knowing my irregular spikes of motivation.
@Nightrunner

I like to think I did a good enough job of giving GA a decent Rogues' Gallery without borrowing (too much) from lesser known Batman villains.

I swear I asked Gowi to use them.
You said "Lord knows" and technically he can be addressed as Lord

I know things?

Am I missing an obvious reference or just not understanding the implication?
@Sloth, dude, do you have a clue how much you could be posting if you'd make a summary of your character's life instead of the novel between every subheading. Y'know, so you could get done some time this week. In other news, the me that likes bulky CSs likes the work you've put in, but the other part finds it intimidating and is too lazy to read it. Either way, props if you ever finish. Its why I gave up on writing sheets that way.

I understand. Honestly I'm not even sure how I let it become the beast that it is now, considering the initial spark was quite literally "Archery is cool. I should be an archer." and evolved from "CW's doing a pretty shit job at GA, I could at least do GA better than them, right?" to "I could totally make Green Arrow into an A-lister if I put enough work in, dammit." which is probably a horrible reason to play a character.

But yeah. Hopefully now that it's out in the open and all that jazz I'll finally kick my own ass into finishing it up. Lord knows what in the hell he'll be up to other than shooting street thugs with pointy sticks. What more does a man really need in life?

I've never understood why people make character sheets this long. Do you enjoy the sheet-making process? Personally, I find making them laborious and usually try to get through them as quickly as possible so I can actually start. So when I see ones this impressively detailed it baffles me.

I actually do legitimately enjoy making character sheets. No idea why. I can see why most see it as pointless in the grand scheme of things, but I've always just been a sucker for writing backstories and stuff of that nature. I partially think it coincides with the fact that GA would be mostly a solo character doing stuff around Star City, which would, for lack of a better term, be my personal playground to just do whatever came to mind in, rather than, say, playing Robin to @Gowi's Batman, where it's more of a cooperative process? I'm not sure how to explain it.

I'm clearly just partially afraid that nobody will ever take GA seriously unless I write a doctoral thesis of a character sheet,
Playing GA vs Hawkeye could be cool and fun.

On a somewhat unrelated aside, the Hawkhound's name is Lucky, though if I recall Clint just calls him Arrow because he's a dweeb.
