Webster - Everyone, and I mean everyone, calls him this. It originated in the first grade, when his near encyclopedic knowledge lead to the bullies calling him "Dictionary." He would go on to tell them that calling him Webster made a lot more sense, and sounded much less stupid, and so everyone, other than his parents, call him this, and it's how he introduces himself.

JJ - When he was younger, his parents called him JJ, shorthand for Johnathan Junior. His mother and father will still call him this from time to time, but none of his friends know about it, and he hates being called it.

In Depth Appearance:
Webster is tall and lanky, standing at about 6 feet and weighing in at around 160 pounds, all of which he would like you to believe is pure unadulterated muscle. Really it's the opposite, as Webster hates exercise with a passion, and as such, his muscles are minimally toned, and  His dirty blonde hair is kept styled up out of his eyes, with more hair product than he would really care to admit. His eyes are a stormy grey, and have a look to them that makes it seem as if Webster's thoughts are elsewhere. Webster's mouth is always turned up in a smirk, one that almost makes him look like he's up to something, but also makes him seem much more friendly, despite his complete ineptitude in social situations involving strangers. While he's tried hard to grow a beard, he can't seem to get past a light stubble, and so he keeps his face clean shaven as much as he can, although it isn't totally unheard of for him to get so wrapped up in a project that he forgets to shave for a few days. His skin is a clear and cream colored, and try as he might, he can't get a tan to save his life. 

Clothing Style:
Webster most certainly does not dress to impress, despite his upbringing in a wealthy household. He wears flannels and band tees, beat up Converse and torn skinny jeans, and that's on a day when he's actually trying. On a lazy day, he opts for a tee shirt and sweats, though his Converse are his go to shoes. However, when he does want to clean up, he cleans up well, a result of his upbringing in a well off household. He prefers to wear blues or greys, and blacks aren't uncommon for him as well.

Webster is a genius before he is anything else. Remarkably intelligent and resourceful, his brains are almost always the first thing people notice about him, a side effect of the unnecessarily large words that he'll sometimes use in conversations. This intelligence kept him out of many social circles as a kid, and left him a rather awkward character. While he acts perfectly fine around his friends, girls that he likes seem to be his biggest weakness, and practically any stranger will have him stumbling over his words. But, despite showing off his intelligence like a medal of honor, Webster is at his core, a caring and supportive friend, who'd do anything for those he cares for.

But, just like everyone else, Webster has a dark side. His IQ has left him arrogant, and he's always confident that he's the smartest person in the room. This arrogance is truly just a mask for his insecurity, the insecurity that's gripped him ever since he was a child. Always wanting to be the best left him fearing he was always second or third best. He can be remarkably sarcastic as well due to his lack of verbal filter, and to those who know him, they know he's just joking, but to those who're just meeting him, he can come off as rude.

Background:
Johnathan O'Connor was a new history professor at Stanford when he met the young, lovely, Aliane Corvus. Well, that's what she said her name was. In truth, she was the goddess of wisdom, Athena, and she'd taken a liking to the professor. Their whirlwind romance culminated in an engagement, a marriage, and a pregnancy, all within seven months. After Webster was born, Athena revealed herself to her husband, and their relationship soon crumbled. Johnathan couldn't seem to handle being with an immortal goddess and this drove a wedge between the two. 

From birth, Webster, then Johnathan Jr, was expected to be great. His father wouldn't have anything else. "O'Connors are great," he would say to a young Webster, who would simply look up into his fathers eyes and gurgle, as infants tend to do. And Webster did become great. At the age of five he was reading full on chapter books, and using words far beyond the normal comprehension of a kindergartner. Of course, his father knew where this was coming from, but he refused to tell Webster anything.

From that point on, Webster was enrolled in private lessons after school. He was taught to play the piano, speak Spanish, German and French, and he even dabbled in the violin. His father always made sure he had something to do, and as he got older he desired rebellion more than anything, an escape from the life. And that day came when Mommy Dearest knocked on his door.

When Webster was just fifteen his mother showed up and explained away all the mysteries of his life, such as why his parents had split, and just who his mother really was. He was shocked to say the least, but when his mother suggested he be sent to Olympus Academy, and he's been there ever since, refusing to go home, even for the holidays.

Webster has only met Athena a few times, and so their relationship is strained at best. He resents her for never getting in contact with him as a child, but she is trying to build a relationship with him.

Godly Abilities:
Master Strategist - While Webster lacks confidence everywhere else, when it comes to strategy he is always on top, thanks to his mother. He is able to analyze a situation and figure out the best way to maneuver through it, and while his plans are sometimes failures, they are more often than not, successes.

Can We Build It? Yes We Can! - Webster is a skilled architect and can even understand the layout of a building simply by touching it, due to his mother's status as a patron of architects. When he's touching a building, the blueprints appear in his head and he can study them for as long as he has contact. 

Care To Duel? - While many forget Athena's status as a goddess of war, her gifts in warfare have given Webster prominent skills with a sword, and his ability to analyze a situation make him a dangerous opponent.

Crafts! - To go along with his skills with architecture, Webster is a gifted engineer and is always working on different gadgets. While he may not be as gifted an inventor as a child of Hephaestus, given time, he could become a force to be reckoned with.

Tess is a pretty girl, that much is certain. Her red hair falls to just below her shoulders, and shapes her face almost perfectly. Living in an area where it's snowing most of the year has left her with ivory skin, though she also suspects that this is thanks to her mother. She's not particularly tall, only standing at about 5'6, and weighing in at about 135 pounds. Years on the track and field team have left her with toned arms and legs. She doesn't where too much makeup, eye shadow and lipstick most of the time but that's really where she draws the line. Her eyes are a brilliant green, and many a boy has compared them to tiny emeralds, which never ceases to make her laugh, inviting the two dimples in her cheeks to come out.

Clothing Style:
Tess dresses rather conservatively compared to many other girls she knows. She prefers pants and over sized sweatshirts, to anything that shows of a lot of skin, although in the summer time, you'll often catch her walking around in shorts and a tank top. She prefers to wear lighter colors, yellows and greens, even blues, and she tends to stay away from blacks and greys.

To many, Tess seems like she has enough pep that nothing could keep her down. She's always got a smile on her face, and is easily one of the friendliest people at the academy, always being the first to greet someone. She's a loyal friend, who would stop at nothing to aid those in need. She's an adventurous girl, and if you're close with her, count on being dragged along on some sort of escapade, into the woods or on some sort of scavenger hunt. Tess has a way of making a dull day seem impossibly fun. But enemies of Tess beware. Her fuse is short, and her penchant for melodrama makes her seem like a nuclear explosion when things piss her off. And as much as she cares for her friends, it's not uncommon for her to focus a little to much on herself, and forget to acknowledge her friend's problems. 

Background:
Harrison Galloway was dumbstruck when he met Tess' mother. The goddess Artemis had appeared to him as a feisty red head, who loved to hunt. The two soon fell deeply in love, and within a year of meeting one another, they were married. After the wedding, Artemis revealed who she was to Harrison, but he couldn't have cared less. He was with the woman he loved, and that was all that mattered.

Tess was born the next year, and she lived a relatively normal life, at least early on. Her mother was around for quite a bit of her life, and she would take the young girl out into the woods, where animals would flock around them. As she grew older, her affinity for archery became prominent, as well as her skills with animals. And while she always knew there was something strange about her mother, she never suspected the truth.

When she was sixteen, her parents sat her down, and told her everything, before going on to suggest that she go to Olympus Academy, to train and hone her skills as a demigod. She was overjoyed. Finally, there was a chance at adventure, away from the small town she'd grown up in. At the academy, Tess flourished, making more friends than she had ever had, and proving herself as a capable fighter and student.

Surprisingly good. Artemis was present for Tess' childhood, and so they are much closer than many other demigods are with their parents, although finding out that she had siblings that were born after her, during her parents marriage was hard to wrap her head around.

Godly Abilities:
Right On The Mark - Being a daughter of the goddess of the hunt, Tess has excellent aim. She finds that her skills are best with bows, but she can be incredibly accurate with throwing knives as well.

Snow White In The Flesh - Tess has a natural affinity with animals, and while she can't necessarily speak to them, she can understand their methods of communication, and can easily calm them.

Catch Me If You Can - Tess is much faster than your average human, and has much faster reflexes, thanks to her mother being one of the more agile goddesses.

In Depth Appearance:
While Liv thinks she's nothing special, many a boy would tell her otherwise. In fact, to many she's quite the beauty. Smooth, ivory skin, and flowing, shoulder length, chocolate hair that frames her face just right. Her smile is infectious, and when she does grin or laugh, it shows across her entire face, with her crinkling eyes and the dimples in her cheeks. Her eyes are a sea green, fitting considering her parentage. She's not particularly tall, only standing at around 5'2, with a slender, athletic form, a result of years of training at OA. While she doesn't have any tattoos, she does have her ears pierced.

Clothing Style:
The best way to describe Liv's clothing style is casual. She doesn't dress like a runway model for a normal school day, but she does put some effort in. Form fitting jeans and an exceptionally cute t-shirt aren't uncommon, and neither are dresses and skirts, paired with jackets or blouses. Truly, Liv's style is constantly adapting for the needs of the present, although one constant is that she never likes to be too showy.

When Liv isn't around and people are discussing her in a positive light, they'll talk about how caring she is. How she won't let anyone suffer, and how she loves making new friends. They'll talk about how brave she is, and while she hates conflict, she's not afraid to start a fight with a bully, or someone who she thinks deserves it. They'll talk about how honest she is, and how she could never tell a lie, mainly because she's the worst liar in the world, but also because she has a strong sense of right and wrong, and lying doesn't fall on the right side. But with more somber tones, they'll mention how she seems to be holding back sometimes, never getting too excited about things, and generally just trying not to work herself up. 

If the conversation is more negative though, people might begin discussing how she's too blunt, a lack of understanding for other people's feelings. They'd talk about how she's too righteous, always going after the bad guy but never stopping to think about why. They'd most certainly talk about her temper, the one that she tries so hard to keep under wraps, but is terrified of letting loose. Luckily for Liv, most people don't have a bad thing to say about her, or at least not that she knows of.

Background:
A sailboat out on the open sea, a young artist at the helm. A storm that should've destroyed the boat, but instead left it bobbing gently in the middle of the ocean. This is how Posiedon and Margaret Weston met. Margaret loves to tell the story, of how the storm passed, and a handsome man was rising from the water, and floating towards her boat. It always brings a smile to her face. Their's was a short lived affair, though both loved the other, of that Liv is certain. But Posiedon had other duties, and Margaret was a free spirit, and so they left each other behind.

Although, Margaret was left with one parting gift. A baby, who she would name Olivia. Growing up, Liv had a less than normal life. Her mother was an artist, and had a penchant for packing everything up and moving to any random place that seemed to inspire her at the time. Small towns, tropical islands, big cities, you name it. Margaret had a trust fund filled with cash and a never ending sense of wanderlust. And while this didn't allow Liv to have a completely normal education and childhood, it certainly kept her life interesting.

Growing up, Liv was home schooled by her mother, an education that always seemed to focus more on painting than anything else. Many times, Liv would take her education into her own hands, teaching herself about the American Revolution, or the Civil War, although she's never resented her mother for this. In fact, she believes the whole experience made her much stronger.

Liv's father would come to her for the first time on her 16th birthday, after a particularly destructive event happened, caused by Liv. Only a few days earlier, Liv had witnessed a mugging on a small street in the town that she and her mother were living in at the time. Desperate to help, she'd rushed forward, her rage surging, desperately wanting to do something. And something she did. Her raw emotion channeled into the ground and caused a furious eruption of water, like nothing she'd ever seen or done before. The town was flooded, and it was that day that she swore to keep her emotions in check. When her father came, he told her about OA, and she accepted eagerly, desperate to learn how to control her powers.

Relationship With Godly Parent:
Their's is an amicable relationship that much is clear. Her mother always spoke highly of him, and made it clear that their separation was mutual, and that he did not abandon them. Liv holds no resentment towards him for not being around, although sometimes she blames him for cursing her with such destructive powers.

Godly Abilities:
Hydrokinesis - Liv is capable of hydrokinesis, the manipulation of water. She can pull moisture from the air to create and shape water to her will, or she can use an existing source. She can control the speed at which water moves, turning a jet of water into a highly pressurized weapon, or even the temperature, freezing or boiling small bodies of water. When she is calm, this ability is only as dangerous as she wants it to be, although when she is highly distressed, she can lose control, and this power becomes quite dangerous to those around her.

Geokinesis - Posiedon was also known to cause massive earthquakes, and this ability has been passed on to Liv. While she can really only make the ground rumble enough to throw someone off balance, she rarely does, fearing that she'll lose control and hurt others, or destroy something.

Webster has only met Harada briefly, in one of the classes that they share. He has seen her proficiency with weapons however, and she's one of the few people who he thinks could take him in a sword fight.

Having met Jonas a few times, Webster was most surprised by his average IQ level. A child of Ares who didn't want to stab first and ask questions later was refreshing, and opened Webster's mind a bit more.

Webster and Rebekah may be half siblings, but their relationship isn't that of any normal pair of siblings. Granted, they aren't a normal pair of siblings. They met during their first year at OA, and they get along fine, though Webster's lack of social skills doesn't mix well with Rebekah's quiet attitude. Plus, Webster is jealous of the time she spent with their mother, time he never got.

Webster's few interactions with Skye have been laughably awkward. The few times they've spoken, Skye's overt flirtatiousness has led to an incredibly flustered Webster, who does not handle such things well.

Webster often takes his love life problems to Birdie, her being the daughter of Aphrodite and all. He considers her one of his best friends, and is always up to hang out with her.

Webster has the biggest crush imaginable on Mariana. He's turns into mush whenever she comes around, and yet he's convinced that it's the best kept secret in school. Webster and Tess have known each other since their first year at OA, and have been friends ever since. Webster is often her unwilling partner in crime, as well as her exceptional study partner. And by study partner, I mean he reads his notes aloud and she listens, and passes the test.

Webster is often seen, trailing behind Dusty at some event, be it a concert, a party, or any other escapade she invites him on. They met after a rather strange story involving Morgan Freeman, and they quickly became friends. Webster trusts her more than most people at school, and he's always got her back.
