A reminder you dont need to know every detail of every bad thing. Being informed is good but being consumed achieves nothing good. You're still a good person if you have boundries with bad news

Location: TRAIN → GLOUCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS
Interacting with: ‘Boston Renegades’, Max and Spencer in particular @foxygen @Wade Wilson

Usually whenever Max and Spencer (whom Emily persistently dubbed M’Spencer often) were somewhere together alone Emily usually had her two cents to put in about it but today her mind was too busy messing with her as she fiddled with her MP3 player. Sure, she hadn’t fit the stature of a law abiding citizen or even a ‘good’ girl in that case but never did she think the stakes would become so high. Sure, prison was something. Not the best of places, especially after she’d banged with every decent male prisoner (and even an officer, leaving him handcuffed to one of the cells, his pants on the other side of the room), in the jail. That was when it really become a nuisance. All the same she was glad for the breakout. She suspected she’d somehow breakout but not so soon, never did she consider it was come to this, both the people of justice and the king of crime on her tail.

Although she wasn’t quite able to formulate the words as M’Spencer (insert fedora tip here) took their seat she gave them a suggestive glance which said just what she had everytime, ”Did you lovebirds have fun getting busy?” waiting for them both to get her facial message before giving them a mischievous glance alongside a snicker before returning to playing around with her MP3, head bopping along to the music, a faint sound possible to be heard by those close enough. Sure, the non-verbal comment was in good fun, in most cases that two people willingingly walked into room alone she’d imply they were banging or doing something of the likes, however, it seemed these 2 were actually at it, all the signs pointed to it. For two criminals they were not at all masters of subtlety. Either that or Emily had had sex so many times with so many men she could practically sense that they just had, or Emily was letting her joke get the better of her.

Not long after Max brought attention to the newspaper in his hands. Emily skimmed over it briefly. She had to admit, she was surprised to be on a missing person’s report. Her eyes quickly found her name, No image available. Bastards. They probably didn’t appreciate her persistence for her mugshot’s obscene figure, or to remove the smirk on her face (handcuffs can’t solve everything sweetie). She could tell it was her parents that gave no comment, oh well. It was better her mother didn’t give a comment otherwise it would be You better not come back to this house Emily Florence or She’s better lost and saving me the grief. Her father was far too busy to care as usual, she gave a sigh sitting back in her seat and returning to her music.

Emily snickered at Spencer’s comment. ”We’re renegades, not just in Michaels’ eyes but in the law’s, the last thing they want to do is make us sound good,” she replies in a hushed whisper, ”Though if we’re going to do that pop group thing I bags being the one that fights and throws stuff at the paparazzi!” she jokes. Quickly Emily jumps up from her seat as Spencer does and slaps him just above his left ear before muttering ”Do you know anything about subtlety? No wonder you were caught,” allowing the gruff voice pouring through the speakers to cover her words and avoid anyone who weren’t within a close radius to hear her. She glared at him for a moment longer before stepping away so the rest of the group could walk through.

They hadn’t even left the state as of so far. Emily gave a sigh. She wasn’t at all optimistic about where they turned up, particularly if that article was all over Boston, it might have been a better idea to stay on the train until they left the state. Who put the Banging buddies in charge anyway? Well, she supposed, by following that probably showed she agreed. Either way, the coast scene was quite beautiful. Emily almost didn’t belong with her old short shorts fading in some spots and her wavy ginger hair a rat’s nest, parts being blown by the gentle breeze. The water was gentle, forming the slightest of waves. Between it’s beautiful blue and the sandy shore it looked like something that belonged in a pamphlet.

As Spencer found the group a place to stay Emily tugged the oh-so-precious pamphlet from Max’s hand turning it in her own, treating it with much less care than Max had but care enough for it to not crumple or tear. ”I never liked spa resorts anyway, broke into a room once or twice, full of snobs. A camping ground seems perfect,” she says in a lame attempt to keep the group’s spirits up, and any rate she was agreeing with the pair of boys without making so harassing or suggestive comment, what could she say? She felt kind at that moment

The description states 'many can fully tolerate sunlight with some sunblock or a parasol by the age of 80 or so' I thought that meant bodily tolerance :/

Emily Coison

Emily listened to the hustle and bustle of the arriving students. Suitcases gliding over the floor, the 'clomp clomp' or 'pitter patter' of shoes slapping on the floor, the squeals and cheers of reuniting friends. With her naturally advanced hearing that came with her species damn were there sounds. Sounds, sounds everywhere and they were disrupting. She gave a sigh, placing her book face down on the small wooden table that sat next to her bed.

Emily had arrived at the academy the day prior. As much as she thrived in the company of others some of those 'others' were just simply... what's the best way to put it? A nuisance. Anyway, the idea of trying to squeeze tgough crowds to get to her room and hear the squeals and cheers of reuniting friends was not in her best interests soon the day before she made her way to the academy. It was not a long trip, her apartment wasn't a huge distance from the academy and between that and her advanced abilities getting to there was not overly time consuming. She arrived to her dorm to find it empty, not to her surprise at all. Most didn't arrive until the proclaimed day to do so. Soon enough she had made her bed, set up her things and unpacked her suitcase before before spending the night reading. The next morning she was awoken by student's entrances onto the floor. Knowing she was defeated she got out of bed and filled her time with books, the sounds not so distracting as they were now.

As the sounds of students became louder and louder she gave up on attempting to read and left her book on the nightstand. She opened the door to the grand hallway that connected all the rooms and stood in the doorway, watching the rushing students and trying to distate who her roommate might be. In the process she delivered slightly intimidating glares at students that were too loud. Emily herself wasn't an intimidating being but to those who didn't know the vampire may have seen that potential in her. She gave another sigh as one of her glares were ignored and awaiting someone she was at least decently close with to find her.
