A reminder you dont need to know every detail of every bad thing. Being informed is good but being consumed achieves nothing good. You're still a good person if you have boundries with bad news

Emily had, for the most part, been minding her own business. She only half listened to Kacey ripping into Cin. Honestly, she only half cared. Sure, it was always bad to hear her snap at some poor schmuck, particularly when it was one like Cin who'd take it too much to heart. When it was Emily she snapped at she just shrugged and walked away or even chuckled or, in a couple of cases, snapped back. She'd spent her childhood around stern figures snapping at her and between that and the lack of care for her life her selfishness hid she wasn't intimidated by being scolded much. Not that she was scolded at too much nowadays. Sure, she's a pretty bad person (she'll admit that with ease) but she's loyal enough to her group to follow orders.

Eventually Emily turned to walk away, and even took a couple of steps. She had to get her stuff for the next day collected together. A handkerchief and small bottle of chloroform she pinched a couple of towns back and her small handgun. she did have to be ready if things got messy. However, she lost her chance to collect these objects when Alex caught her attention. Emily gave a slight sigh. For the most part Emily liked Alex, he was straightforward and creative, Emily liked that, but some of the things he did did bug her. Like his obsession with the bloody cups, Emily didn't care about the bloody cups, that's probably how she broke the bloody cups. That and although she was built like a model with her extremely tall height for a woman she wasn't made for her long legs, obvious in the slight clumsiness she held on occasions, even when she was sober.

Inside a voice silently muttered 'Shit, he knows' but Emily just sighed and turned on her heel to face him. Honestly, Emily didn't care if Alex knew it was her but she did have to put her master lying skills to use somewhere, besides, just because she didn't care too much about being scolded doesn't mean she liked being scolded. "Well, hello to you too Alex," Emily replies, with the usual coy smile that seemed to permanently sit on her lips some days. "Honestly, no. I don't know what happened to the cups and I don't really care. I don't know if you've noticed but I prefer drinkin' from a bottle," Just to prove her point she tugs the cork from her bottle of whiskey and downs a large mouthful before offering he bottle to Alex.
@Peridot Did you have room for another?
As Kacey continued to make no reach for the bottle of whiskey Emily gave a shrug and chugged another couple of mouthfuls worth of the golden liquor before slamming the cork back into the bottle. "Your loss," she mumbles under her breath before patting Fido's side once more. Laura's mention of a hot bath sparked no external response in Emily but it did get her thinking about how nice that would feel. Although it wasn't particularly high up on her list of what she wanted the idea did bring a small smile to her face. Of course it was Laura's idea. Emily didn't particularly have a problem with blonde she found she rather the company of her older sister. Laura was just a little... weak maybe for Emily preference. That' how she saw it at least. In saying that, the two of them spent so little time alone Emily had never really had a problem with her.

Kacey's plan delighted yet bugged Emily. It was a solid plan, sure, but the fact they'd be in the town yet not free to do anything annoyed her. She quite liked the idea of her offer. However Kacey, as usual, was right. It wasn't a particularly frivolous village so bank was probably their best bet at this stage. Besides, they all had pretty decent bounties hovering over their heads anyway, not that that stopped Emily any other time. She ran a hand through her ginger hair. "I'm in,"

That was when Maverick spoke up. "S'cuse me?!" Emily snapped, turning on her heel to face him, "I'll 'ave y'know I am perfectly fine with a gun," she spits before turning back to Kacey and sighing. "But he's right. Don't you worry, I can stall them all right," Emily replies with a wink, before zoning out of the following conversation over Maverick. Poor Laura, absolutely head over heels for someone who, Emily thought, would never like her back

~Sol Streets - Nova Wave Arcade

After a hurried pack up and shut down of equipment followed by the locking of studio doors Hannah and her mentor parted ways with a farewell. She shoved her hands into the pockets of her leather jacket and looked up at the stars, a small smile spreading across her face. Less than a week into her new location the novelty of the new city was yet to wear off. In saying that Hannah hadn't yet actually spent much time doing stuff in the city, busy between settling in to her apartment and her job. Tonight, she decided, she'd finally explore her new surrounding. She slipped her earbuds into her ears, tapped 'play' on her phone and continued forward.

Lit streets, busy people. Although some seemed hated this sort of setting Hannah loved it, she found a certain beauty in the concrete jungle others seemed to miss so easily. She took her time to consider spots and admire scenery. It was moments like this she wouldn't miss home. She passed the Golden Mike, making a note to drop by some day. Eventually she reached another lit building. The Arcade. She gave a shrug, why not? and wandered in the face the abundance of machines and games. Some wandered from game to game while some kept put at one, trying to beat the highest score. Hannah stayed at the corner unsure where to start as she tugged the earphones from her ears. There wasn't an arcade in her old town. While other ran aoud the arcade Hannah stood only metres from the door, watching the arcade in front of her.
Sorry for the delay but post should come before sleep if I don't pass out mid post then tomorrow morning (I'm in +10 Aussie time)
@Altered Tundraoh my goodness, that's awesome! Thanks Tunds!
Haha be warned, Emily will be more amused than anything
XD She won't tell anyone though XD
Secret cup murderer.
She'll just offer a swig of whiskey instead
Emily probably broke most of those cups NGL XD
Probably in a drunken fit
Emily happened to stroll by Kacey as she made her aimless announcement. Emily's ears attuned to her in interest. She loved going into town; more alcohol to drink and more guys to screw and steal from, Emily 'special skill' she liked to call scull, screw, steal. "Inta town, y'say?" she asks. As soon as she left her former life Emily went through lengths to ensure she'd caught on to the speaking habits of the less formal and less educated crew at times. Even in her adult years and disconnection to her parents she found triumph and amusement in how horrified her mother would be at her new form of speech, even though she only used it half of the time. She clapped her thigh to call over her pitbull who was wandering a few metres behind her, sniffing at the grass. The dog looked up in Emily's direction and gave a bark, before running to her side.

Emily pats Fido's side, stopping herself in front of Kacey and taking a swig from the almost full bottle of whiskey in her other hand. Emily seemed to almost always have an endless stash of alcohol with her. Her part of her condition for what she steals, everything goes to the group except the alcohol, that's hers, but it's not uncommon for her to offer sips to the rest of the gang anyway. "'Ow's the dough lookin'?" she asks, offering the bottle to Kacey for a sip or two. "If ye give m' a night or two I'll 'ave at least a 'undred in either cash or stuff," she offers, shaking the bottle slightly, prompting Kasey to accept or reject the bottle.
