@Flamelord It says in the OP that the City-State of Aurora includes surrounding feifdoms. So I'm assuming that this a feudalistic society, where the Ruler of Aurora portions out land and wealth to her lieutenants and vassals (taking the place of nobles and knights). Does that mean that Magical Girls who are not necessarily at the top still might have small chunks of territory under their control (to manage, etc.)? And then Aurora itself is part of an even larger, looser alliance that is Elysium?
@NarayanK, I think that the principles behind adhesion (stickiness) are very similar to friction, so technically Tsubasa might be able to use his friction manipulation to make himself unstick from the tape.

There's a very love-hate relationship between Incubators and Magical girls, though obvious with the latter towards the former than the former towards the latter, simply because the magical girls can't really order the Incubators to do anything they want to. So while they can cooperate and do as you suggested, they also could recruit from inside already controlled territory, and the more magical girls there are, the more potential there is for a coup to overthrow the leadership already in place and to install someone else. That's the danger of determining leadership by strength. But that's also not really for the interest check.

Still, I'm sure any leader would be glad to have a trustworthy lieutenant to deal with such threats as they arise. ;)

I guess I'm thinking the most viable nation would be one that successfully strikes a bargain with the incubators (those lil' bastards just love bargains, don't they?). And the promise of a steady-state, stable, never-ending supply of energy may placate them for as long as they don't think of a more lucrative alternative (for example, letting Witch Madoka AKA Kreimhild Gretchen destroy Earth because the energy released more than makes up for losing earth as a source of renewable energy). But anyways, I'll stop talking about it since you said this isn't really an interest Check appropriate topic (I just like trying to get inside the heads of incubators). /人 ‿‿ 人\

I'm thinking of a character who wields warhammers and projects force fields as her magical ability; in short, a hard-hitting, close-range, bruiser-tank type character.
Alright done. Sorry for the short post, we can get some walking around/conversation out of the way, then I'll describe the Dorms/Barracks.
Israfil looked behind him wondering who Claire was talking to. When he realized she was talking to him, he stuttered, "M-me?" He looked between Claire and Tera, then realized he should introduce himself. "Ensign I-Israfil Eihon," he said, saluting awkwardly. He wondered at his good fortune, having two nice people approach him in one day. "Sure, I'm honored to join you if you'll have me."
Otonashi Shizuka

"Classics? You mean like Voltron?" Shizuka asked, her eyes lighting up. People probably thought concepts like five lion robots combining was corny, but Shizuka loved that kind of stuff, which spilled over into a love of Super Sentai and all things tokusatsu.

When Wataru demonstrated his ability, Shizuka looked on in awe, but when he said that it was kind of useless, Shizuka shook her head vehemently, "Just because you can't directly hurt people with it doesn't make it useless. People, especially people who are over-confident, trust their own senses above all else. I'm sure that as a member of JUDGMENT, you've used your powers in really helpful ways..."

Bringing up JUDGMENT reminded her of the hammer, and the possibility that he was investigating her. Her first instinct was to continue to hide it for fear of being implicated, but the more she thought about it the more the tension build up in her anxiety became unbearable, she figured it might be better to present the evidence, come what may. "Umm...Satou-san? H-here..."

Shizuka pulled the fire alarm hammer out of her bag and showed it to him. "I-I don't know if you'll b-believe me, but I didn't do it! I-I j-just found this in my bag was all!"
Cool beans.

I'm imagining a nation run by magical girls that is in full alliance with the incubators.

Basically, a government can maintain power by promoting fear, but if it is fear in the government, the people will be in a state of unrest and may rebel at some point. So the better option is to create fear in an 'enemy'. if you can fool your population into believing that you are protecting them, they will love you and support you, all the while hating their enemy. And if you are able to continue to 'manufacture' this enemy, then your control will be perpetual.

This nation would therefore find a means of creating desperate situations in nearby, heavily controlled foreign territories, send incubators into those territories offering magical girl status to the populace, push those magical girls to the brink until they become witches. Let those witches wreak a decent amount of havoc, take it down, rinse, repeat. The people will continue to live in fear of the 'enemy' and receive 'security' from their magical girl overlords, the incubators get their energy, and the ruling magical girl party maintains eternal control of the populace: win-win.

I hope someone is willing to play the leader of such a nation because I want to play the 'trusty lieutenant' to such a leader.

A similar example can be seen in the prequel trilogy of Star Wars, where Palpatine sends Dooku to start a Separatist faction for the Galactic Republic to fight against, allowing him to be elected chancellor, and ultimately to crown himself emperor. I guess that would make the character I want to play Darth Vader, lol.
@Masaki Haruna

Who are all these people you're mentioning? I'm incredibly confused with the seat numbers and who (pardon my Old English) the hell is "Under Blast"? >.<

I don't think those are seat numbers, I think they're Level 5 rankings. Basically, characters that the GM probably has hidden as part of future plot.

From Ria's CS:
Level Five Line-up with their Epithet.
1. "Dream" World
2. "Little" World
3. Handler
4. Crash
5. Singularity
6. ????
7. ????
8. Absolute Zero, Tsurara Ria
9. Emulator, Kurogane Kiyoshi
10. ????
??. Unknown

EDIT: They may also be characters from the previous incarnation of this RP from another forum.
Otonashi Shizuka

Shizuka looked up to see that it was Wataru addressing her. "S-Satou-san?" The presence of a JUDGMENT student made her realize what she was holding. She tried to quickly stuff it back in her bag surreptitiously, but that only made it seem more conspicuous. "A-ah...yes, electronics is a hobby of mine, I like computers, games, mecha anime..." Shizuka caught herself, this was exactly how she could make people avoid her, by talking too much about her hobbies.

"My power?" Shizuka replied, "Acoustokinesis. I emit and detect sound." To demonstrate, she let out a steady A440 pitch at a low enough volume to not be threatening, but enough to be audible. She wondered why he was asking, curiosity or investigation? "What's yours?" She asked, hoping that he was just making small talk.
I guess naturally speaking, Israfil's too timid to approach Claire and Tera, and will join them only if invited. I'm not saying Claire has to invite Israfil or anything, I just want to know what Claire would do character-wise.

Alright, thanks for letting me know that you won't be posting tonight, it won't be a problem of course. I hope you feel better soon. Get some good rest.
