Let me know if the following is ok.

Name: Igraine Grangrel
Blood: PURE. BLOOD.
Age by appearance: 14
Immortal age: 169
Appearance:
House: Grangrel
Rank: Adjutant
Short bio (+personality):
Igraine is the result of Amaury's fleeting interest in the pleasures of 'younger flesh', Igraine's mother having been turned at the age of 14 and kept as a sort of concubine. While no one would dare ridicule Amaury Grangrel to his face, having Igraine's mother around invited an awkward and silent judgment that became simply too inconvenient to maintain. Igraine's mother was dismissed from Amaury's side to become a low-ranking and clout-less member of House Grangrel. It is into this unusual disgrace that Igraine was born; however, she sought instead to rise in the ranks based on her own merit in spite of the stigma surrounding her.

Unable to physically age beyond 14, Igraine knew she would have a hard time putting herself to work in the brothel competing against the more well-endowed individuals. Of course, part of her also wanted to distance herself as much as possible from her mother's folly. Instead, she became something one would least expect of a girl who would perpetually be in her young teens, 'muscle'. Igraine started off learning how to fight in order to protect the house and its businesses, though soon she demonstrated a knack for management, allowing her to take on the heavy responsibility of managing the House's drug cartel as well as training House members in combat.

Strangely enough, she doesn't resent her father, admiring him for his strength and dominance. As Amaury's daughter, Igraine considers herself superior to the rest of the House, though no one takes her seriously and she doesn't have the support of Amaury to back up her arrogance. Where it counts, she keeps in line, but for the most part she is petulant and demanding, scathing and critical. Igraine absolutely despises Persephone for being Amaury's favorite. Igraine also considers humans as livestock and wouldn't be caught dead romancing one as her concept of pure-blooded-ness is restricted to children of vampire parents (both parents, of course), in other words: herself and those like her. Igraine's demeanor switches constantly between a coy, childish innocence, and a mature, sadistic tyrant. She's not above ingratiating herself to men with her nubile graces to get what she wants, but more often than not, she flies off the handle and resorts to violence instead, preferring force to guile. Anyone who calls her 'Iggy' or tells her that her full name is pretty hard to pronounce is punished instantly.
@Stern Algorithm
You can still be part of Grangrel if you want. Even if it's popular. So far two official main characters are in it. A slutty cute vamp and a Madame who already holds managing roles in the red light district. Perhaps your character should be in charge of the drug cartel and training people to fight.

Great, that's a good job for her. Though I realize I made a mistake saying she should be the 'granddaughter' of Grangrel since daughter still actually makes more sense.
@Stern Algorithm Same race can breed, so Vampire to Vampire, Human to human. Also mind you pamperedness in the house of Grangrel is punishable. His personality is like... "Disrespect me, I'll kill you." In my old roleplay, he had three wives. His second wife saved her son from a beating, but she got a heated fireplace poker to her ass and then dragged her to the bedroom for sex. He's kinda extremely controlling so you'd have to justify why she doesn't get treatment similar to her other family members. He also finds women to be incompetent in most things. He would prefer a son over a daughter. So you got a lot of thinking to do to work around him.

That's fine, I can zero-in on an idea better with constraints. And yes, I was planning on making a pureblooded vampire. So instead of pampered then, she was just lucky enough to be mostly ignored by Grangrel. Although since you explained the rule on vampires not aging past when their mothers were turned, I'm thinking my character could be Grangel's granddaughter. Her mother was still a young teen when Grangrel turned her, so my character would be perpetually a young teen. She'd bristle against being considered 'incompetent' by her grandfather, she flaunts her relation to Grangrel though no one would take her seriously, but otherwise, she'd pour herself into service to prove she's useful. I think she'd become manager of Grangrel's red-light business, while double-dipping into combat and/or assassinations.

In terms of specialization. Alchemy is more of a trade than anything else. Ravnos House are more likely to study it because he has the resources and they're the house of knowledge. Look at the other houses more by their values. Grangrel has a major hold on the black market (and political intrigue), but it isn't too far to say that his people are more likely going to kill without second thought. I do need you to justify how you know some of the whereabouts of the Nests. Since they're extremely hard to find. Or if not in a nest, how does your character get an Aspirant to reveal he is from a certain house? They pledge secrecy, so they aren't that dumb to reveal their Houses secrets.

Sorry, my mistake. I thought aspirants hung around at the school rather than new vampires. My idea was that as long as my character knew which aspirants were House Grangrel's, she'd just stalk the school and occasionally kill people she doesn't recognize. But if there're new vampires at the school instead of aspirants, then that idea goes out the window.

Although now I'm worried since House Grangrel seems pretty popular and I don't want to step on any toes.
Hey @lovely complex, I sort of followed you here from the Shine City RP. This RP has piqued my interest and I wanted to ask a few questions:

1. You mentioned Ravnos' House specializes in Alchemy. Do the other Houses have specializations?

2. I'm thinking of playing as a sinful, pandering, pampered princess/gothic lolita with something to prove, a chip on her shoulder, and a violent streak. Possibly a daughter of Grangrel. Her closeness to Grangrel would afford her a rank due to nepotism (family favoritism), but she fails to achieve any higher rank due to lack of obedience and lack of self-control. She also has a bad habit of killing Aspirants of other Houses. This character would be the same age she appears (somewhere in her mid-teens), having not yet matured to the point where she stops aging. Let me know if anything about this potential character is unacceptable or doesn't make sense given Grangrel's personality/House.
"We'll hold position here," Sion declared. They were standing on an asteroid, behind a rock outcropping. Peeking over the outcropping they could see enemy ships, though when Mayura opened its sensor array, everyone got a digital layout of the battle field sent to their cogs. "As long as Mayura stays here undisturbed, we'll have eyes on the enemy," Sion said, "Orpheus will also use this position to engage in long-range bombardment. Our job," Sion indicated himself and Blythe, "is to defend this position. Engage and disengage at your own discretion. I trust your battle instincts, but protecting these two is our highest priority. As this is my...first time commanding, I will keep my main unit here as well." Sion's Fury split into three seemingly identical units. One hovered near Orpheus and Mayura, the others flanked Nyx. "My auxiliary units will aid you."

"Our team will weave in and out of combat," Maya explained, "but our main objective is to damage the ships, our secondary objective is to defend the other team if they are getting overwhelmed. I will defend Asteria; Legion, you're our main damage, so go wild, but don't stray too far, come back to Asteria for repairs. Alright? Commence operation!"

Orpheus peaked over the outcropping, opened its shield cape and released a blistering salvo of beams. Obsidian charged forward with Asteria following close behind, and Legion flitting about nearby, releasing its Demon Bits which began firing. The enemy ships released interceptors in the form of Strikecraft, while also retaliating with point defense guns.
"S-sorry about that," Sunder apologized, rubbing the back of his head. Balio looked at the way Sunder behaved with a slightly disgusted grimace. "C-care to join us for lunch?" Sunder continued.

"If we're going to eat together, you should invite your brother as well," Balio suggested, putting a small wrench in Sunder's plans. Sunder turned to Balio with a defeated and piteous look, while Balio simply kept his unfriendly scowl.

"Ooh! And what have you been picking by the river?" Reas asked.

"Haha!" Harin guffawed, "Maybe instead of inheriting your father's store, you'd do better as the next apothecary." Harin then turned to Illithor, "Maybe your son can inherit the shop instead of Reas!"

Amie looked up at the quiet waitress gratefully, "Thank you, darling. You can expect a tip before I leave! You're doing great."

@Dynamo Frokane

"Thank you for the compliment, a tip is always appreciated," Shizuka replied. Though Amity seemed rather gaudy despite her attempts to 'disguise' herself, Shizuka appreciated her generosity and didn't judge the way she dressed or behaved. If anything, Shizuka was rather impressed at Amity's self-expression in her personal style as well as her character and personality, what little of it Shizuka had seen anyways. It was the very fact that Shine City had so many colorful people that made the city so interesting, and also why she felt it was improbable that Nick would like someone like herself. There were so many more interesting and outgoing people, so many people far more attractive. Nick deserved better than someone so plain; Nick could attain better, being a radio host and such a colorful personality himself. Shizuka saw herself as an anachronism, an old lady trapped in a young woman's body, too old-fashioned and uninteresting perhaps for this city.

Taking Iruka's hand, Ryoki starts pulling her along at a speed-walk-jog-run-thing-sort-of-speed, heading straight for the closest place they could get something to eat. As it would happen, this turns out to be the Shining Kettle.

Quickly finding a place to sit for the two of them, Ryoki takes a seat, urging Iruka to take a seat as well.

"So, Iru-chan," she didn't seem like she was going to let that name go, regardless of if she were corrected or not, "mind telling me a little bit about yourself? Don't worry, I'm not trying to pry or anything, just curious! Here, I'll give myself as an example." Ryoki clears her throat in preparation for what would be a voice acted performance in the middle of Shining Kettle, though of course, she made sure not to make herself too loud.

She regards Iruka with a mischievous smirk as Ryoki got into character. "My name's Ryoki Mochizukki, hun~! But I'm fine with you calling me whatever you want...~" The Raven winks with that same level of natural talent as she had the previous night, delivering her flirtatious persona to a t. "I enjoy lots of things, like making music, voice acting, and..." She trails off and licks her lips, leaning in close as she whispers: "... doing the naughty...~! Teehee!"

As soon as she leans back, her character breaks immediately, as she beams a large grin. "Was that good? Ehehehe! Sorry. I probably caught you off guard a little with all that, huh? I was just demonstrating my -- ahem! -- voice acting skills." The following giggle that ensued was slightly perverted-sounding as well as a tad sinister, though she finally returns to a state of normalcy in order to listen to what Iruka has to say, as well as place her order, as the waitress/waiter had arrived immediately after doing so.

After giving their standard greeting and asking about their order, Ryoki contemplates to herself what she'll be having, before making an order for the sweetest slice of cake they had, if they actually served cake there, prioritising cheesecake above all else, shortly followed by pavlova. Should neither of those be served, then the closest she could get to something fruity or sweet, cake or not. Having placed her order, she patiently waits for Iruka to make hers, even going as far as helping her should she find herself struggling. With all that said and done, Ryoki continues the conversation with Iruka, should there be need to continue, asking about her choice of food and if she wanted more.

Shizuka took Ryoki and Iruka's order, though she was somewhat flushed. Ryoki's 'demonstration', while not loud, was rather immodest and made Shizuka rather embarrassed. She tried not to let her embarrassment show while she took their orders, and returned a while later with their food and drink. Women of this generation were so...bold. Here was a woman who could have any man she wanted by the power of her voice alone. Shine City truly was a beautiful city with beautiful people.

"Honey, what did you do?!" Alban asked her, getting her back to her feet and doing his best to console his crying daughter.

"I hit my head on the mean tableeeee!" Lucille replied, tears bubbling in her eyes.

At the first sign of crying, Shizuka quickly and safely put down whatever she happened to be holding and ran to the kitchen. Since a majority of all accident-related fatalities occurred in kitchens, the Shining Kettle kitchen was well-equipped to deal with bruises, cuts and burns. Shizuka rummaged in one of the freezers and took out an icy gel pack. She headed back to where Alban and Lucille were apologizing to Iruka. "Here, hold this to your 'ouchie'," Shizuka said, placing the gel pack to Lucille's head, "It should numb the pain and stop the swelling." Shizuka patted Lucille's head and ran her fingers through Lucille's hair before placing her hand on Lucille's shoulder, looking deep into her eyes. Seeing that Lucille had gotten most of her crying out, Shizuka smiled, "There's a strong girl," she praised her, and placed Lucille's own hand on the gel pack to let her keep it in place herself. Shizuka stood up and faced Alban, bowing deeply, "I'm so sorry your daughter got hurt, it should never have happened. I should have been more vigilant. I promise it won't happen again."
"And what do these do?" Reas asked about the herbs.

"Shouldn't you be helping your father watch the shop?" Harin said, laughing. He was, by now, used to Reas' antics, but felt that as a responsible father, he should still try to get Reas to be a bit more obedient.

"Sunder saw Eline and without thinking shouted, "Oi! Eline!" which prompted a punch in the arm from Balio, who could clearly see that such a racket would scare away Eline's prey, but it was too late.
