Shizuka was a bit flustered when Maribelle assumed they were dating, but calmed when Alban denied it; after all, they'd only known each other for a few weeks. He was just a customer she had who took her to a fancy dinner and they've been in contact since. Thinking back on it, it was a rather unusual circumstance, but they were just friends. But then, Shizuka saw a hatred in Maribelle's eyes, the same hatred she had seen in Alban's only moments before. Maribelle suddenly dragged Alban over to the bar, leaving Shizuka in confusion. Afraid that they would get into some sort of drunken trouble, Shizuka turns to Kazuma and bows apologetically, "P-please excuse me," she says before taking off after Alban and Maribelle.

Shizuka wanted to advise Alban that he should cut back on the alcohol consumption but it was already too late. By the time Shizuka catches up to the pair, they're already wrapped around each other and completely inebriated. Shizuka stops dead in her tracks for a few moments as a hollow sensation slowly grows in her chest. Shizuka begins to rationalize in her mind, "Of course, she's Lucille's music teacher so they've known each other longer. And we're just friends, he invited me here as a courtesy. I-it's good that he's seeing people, it means he's getting over Lucille's mother leaving him. This is good for him, zi should be glad he's in a relationship, and I should support him all the way." She sees the two completely enamored with each other walk towards the DJ and request a music change. "Still, he seems quite drunk, but he was my ride here. I at least have the responsibility to make sure he doesn't do anything dangerous like drive intoxicated. I-I should...stick around and...wait for him..." Shizuka thought to herself. A pair of dancers suddenly bumped into her, pulling her out of her thoughts. She realized that she had frozen in a very awkward and in-the-way spot. Bowing to the dancers who had already moved along, Shizuka quickly made her way back to the table where Kazuma sat, bowing to him again, "S-sorry for leaving like that."

Shizuka sat down and, with slightly trembling hands, pried open the mouth-guard of her helmet. She reached for some of the food that she had gotten and took a bite. It was surprisingly tasteless.
Eileen lay on the ground of her lab with her arms positioned across her chest like a corpse at a funeral, staring up at the ceiling lost in thought, anticipating the earthquake that she had caused. She was sure that the Assassin's HQ which was built to withstand super-powered assault could withstand a measly earthquake. When Harth returned she assumed he had a mission announcement, hearing him summon the team. She motioned with her hands to the helper robot, which rolled up to her. Still laying on the floor, Eileen rolled onto her belly and grabbed the droid with both hands, pointing towards the exit. It rolled towards the door, its motors groaning from the added weight, dragging Dr. Fang along. it carried her out of her lab and out into the common area, from where she could see the gym where Chi-Tah was training. A bit away she could see Explosion as well. Her robot went back into the lab while Dr. Fang rolled onto her back again. Harth was in the middle of explaining the mission when the earthquake finally struck. As the ground rumbled, Dr. Fang pondered on the possibility that this earthquake was maybe just a bit stronger than she had intended. She heard glassware rattling in her lab, followed by the sound of something falling and shattering. Yup, definitely too strong. She thought about how much less frightening an earthquake was lying down, but then again, it helped knowing exactly when it would happen. Hearing Chi-Tah mention the Botanist, she chimed in, "Oh hey, it totally didn't occur to me that this 'might be his doing'. Mutants, am I right? Hah!" Being a mutant herself, Eileen thought the stale irony was hilarious. Eventually the rumbling stopped and Eileen stood up, ceremoniously patting dust and lint off her labcoat. "So, what was this mission again?" she asked a bit annoyingly.

Horizon reaches the burning building, seeing a window where people were desperately trying to leave from despite the elevation. "Please stand back!" Horizon commands, and when he was sure the people were a safe distance away from the wall, he strategically punches out a section of it, making sure to let the ceiling maintain structural stability. Then he projects a large rectangular box made of hard light which the people from the burning building rush into. When the box was full of people, Horizon flew away from the building and towards the ground to somewhere safe to deposit his 'passengers' before returning to the building to find more victims. He notices Mantis Boy nearby and flies up to him. "Insect Child, if you are here to help, it would be greatly appreciated."

Kyouma tried to keep a straight face as he passed the Phantom on his way to the kitchen to get some snacks and maybe a drink. Something about the way he unashamedly stared at Kyouma gave Kyouma the creeps. It also didn't help that the data from the Bresleen sensors that Bresleen 'astronomists' used to scan other humanoids in Kyouma's vicinity returned inconclusive data on the Phantom. However, upon approaching the kitchen, Kyouma lost his appetite as Necron was performing some sick and twisted ritual of sorts.

"We still have plenty of energy reserves left," Emtardas consoled Kyouma.

Suddenly the order to brace for impact came as the base was struck by a seismic shock. Kyouma, using something that was some strange cross between instinct and precision computer-calculated response, widened his stance and shifted his center of gravity in a way to compensate for the swaying and rumbling, much like how a Segway can keep itself upright. he looked around to see how Necron and Phantom Leech reacted.
Hi all, just read through the OOC, you guys have been busy. I've been called in due to vacancy.

Awaiting my stats and I'll get a character up. Gotta read through the characters tab to make sure I don't step on anyone's toes.
Igraine wakes up and grabs her head in confusion. She finds herself on top of the human and quickly gets off. She gives herself a quick once over to make sure she hasn't been touched or violated in any way. Assured that nothing had been done to her, Igraine picks up her pike and looks down at Augustus. She considers ending him here, but Ravnos' words held her back. She doubted that she could expressly disobey an elder while in his territory immediately after he had issued those orders and expect to live. She slings the pike over her shoulder and makes sure she still has the block of coca. While the human wasn't much of a threat, the fact that Ravnos had told him all about the coca was worrisome. She didn't know what the erratic Ventrue would do with such information. It was also troubling to know that Ventrue had managed to steal it off of her father in the first place. Either way, her mission was accomplished, she could return to the nest and present the brick to the Wraith; she might even offer it in Lady Park's behalf, the Wraith would know Igraine retrieved the coca, but maybe it would make Elizabeth more appreciative of Igraine. But Igraine still couldn't shake the fact that letting this human run free was a good idea. Unsure what to do, she roughly prodded Augustus with her foot. "Hey! Wake up!"

@luclovers

Augustus didn't move, maybe he was still out cold. She again considered running him through, but decided against taking such a risk and ran back to Grangrel territory.

The next few days made it known to her that she had missed out on a fight in the streets with the Malkavians and that Elizabeth was somehow partially responsible. Though it seemed that Lord Vlad had chastised Lord Amaury for his house's involvement, Amaury didn't seem to think his house had done anything wrong and apparently didn't seem to want to punish Elizabeth in any way. If he had, Igraine would have tried to comfort Elizabeth in an attempt to get on her good side but things being as they are, Igraine simply expressed adoration that Elizabeth single-handedly picked a fight with so many Malkavians and lived, expressing a desire to accompany her into combat next time.

As for the block of coca, Igraine wasn't sure how she would find the Wraith, but the Wraith found her. She gave him the coca, and didn't even dream about making any demands such as to have him relay to her father that she was responsible for retrieving the coca. She didn't know if she wanted to tell the Wraith that Lord Ventrue was the one who stole it, as that would require her to admit that she had been captured by Lord Ravnos. She decided that she wouldn't say anything unless he pressed her for details.

Besides, there were more pressing concerns. An expedition was being organized to go to the Middle East to take revenge on the assassins who had poisoned the countess and to locate the antidote. Igraine volunteered at the first opportunity, citing her familiarity with drugs and combat as assets to the expedition.
"I see," Emtardas said, "an adventurer, I presume?"
As the enemy ships started to retreat, Obsidian accelerated, ramming into one of the ships like a meteor. Legion and Orpheus fired at another, disabling it, but it was already too late as the remaining ships successfully jumped away. With the battle over, the cogs returned to the hangar.

As Shizuka entered Alban's car, she felt a twinge of regret that she wasn't familiar with the character whose mask she wore, though she was glad Alban didn't find her getup unacceptable. Relieved, Shizuka chatted with Alban during the drive, noticing that the mask distorted her voice slightly. As they were entering the ballroom, Alban dropped some condoms while taking out his tickets. At first, Shizuka wasn't sure what they were, having seen them so rarely, but Alban's 'explanation' that he handed them out to promote safe sex confirmed what they were in Shizuka's mind. She was a little startled and wasn't sure whether what he said was true or not, though she figured that maybe it was just an extreme safety precaution.

But when they reached the bar, Shizuka noticed something in Alban that she hadn't seen before. He was staring at a woman on the dance floor with what Shizuka could only identify as hatred. "I-I'll have the same," Shizuka said, unsure what had come over Alban. As if to distract himself, Alban noticed 'Lucille's violin instructor', and dragged Shizuka along with him to greet her. Shizuka went along willingly, glad that this took Alban's mind off of whatever was bothering him. "A pleasure to meet you, Miss Maribelle," Shizuka said, being polite. When Alban handed Maribelle a condom, she believed what he had said earlier, though she blushed, wondering if he was being less than tactful, even though he was promoting public health.

As she put the cocktail to her lips to take a drink herself, she caught a strong scent of alcohol and suddenly it hit her; Alban was drunk. Shizuka quickly put the drink down without touching it and held Alban's shoulders, directing him to a seat. In a way she as relieved, she didn't know how to dance and now she probably wouldn't have to make an attempt to do so. Though she didn't drink much, she remembered some advice from her father, who enjoyed his beer, about ways to suppress drunkenness, one of which involved getting food in the stomach. As a waiter passed by with a tray of food, Shizuka quickly went over and grabbed two small plates, putting them on the table that she and Alban now shared with Maribelle and Kazu. "Here, let's have some hors d'oeuvres and enjoy ourselves." She sat down and looked around the room, content to just people watch and keep an eye on Alban.

What's up man? Can you please edit your two new characters into your post located in the Characters tab? It took me a bit to find your character in order reference it in my writing. As the OOC section grows, that will just become more of a pain.

Thanks.

Hey man, thanks for the reminder and sorry for the inconvenience.
"Glad to have you back," Maya said t oClaire, "We've cleared out most of the strikecraft, now we just need to make one final push and see how many enemy ships we can disable. Some of them have already escaped, but it can't be helped."

Obsidian started to advance along with Orpheus and Legion; Fury and Mayura stayed behind with the asteroid.
"I see," Emtardas replied, putting away the shovel, "It's dangerous to travel alone." Emtardas placed a few compasses on the counter to let Freya inspect them. "Will you be doing any ocean traveling?" he asked while taking out a special waterproof bedroll.
