Got up a post, sorry about its short length though.
@Stern Algorithm

"Ah fair enough then would you like to have a flower form my garden?Something of a nice memento?" Leonard then asked now walking up to him smiling that could creep out some but this was not his intentions of course."Oh the next door neighbor?You might want to be careful he doesn't like people going though his things like me..." Leonard said thinking of his neighbor Bunny Man.

Bunny Man was known to be a very private person not wanting anyone in exact his victims way back when.

"I won't be taking anything," Hammond said, "Your cooperation was sufficient. As for your neighbor, he'll have me, like it or not, he can take his grievances to the business office. Have a pleasant day." With that, Hammond left, and knocked on the Bunny Man's door, "Termite inspection!"

What a interesting question, what was it that people traditionally ate? Boogie himself usually ate the same simple meal everyday, nothing more than a glass of water and a sandwich that he picked up from Johann the Cut Above Butcher shop. "Dinning locations hmm. Simplicity is usually the best option." Boogie pondered for a moment before he turned his attention back to Antoinette. "Does the Eggman Dinner sound acceptable to you Miss Fermi?"

"Yes, that sounds like a plan," Antoinette replied, meticulously adding it to both their schedules electronically.
Hi sorry for not having said anything in a while. I think everything is fleshing out in a really cool way and I want to thank everyone for asking thought-provoking questions and making contributions.

I want to ask what forms Galatec complacency can take. For example, some forms of complacency are 'glad', as in, "Boy, I love Galatec!" Other forms are less glad, for example, hopelessness, as in, "Galatec is my only option, I better not act up or I'll lose my job and my family." Then there's distraction, as in, "I'm too busy with trying to make ends meet to even think about 'what-ifs'." All are, in essence, effective forms of brainwashing and population suppression. Like people in my country don't vote because they think the system is rigged (AKA hopelessness), and consumerism and a 'suffering economy' (AKA distraction) keeps people so involved with work that they don't stop to question the system.

I'm just wondering if the brainwashing takes different forms depending on people's personalities, like some people are most complacent when pleased, while others are most complacent when faced with soul-crushing hopelessness. If possible, I'd like to make someone who was one of the hopeless 'sheeple' who was somehow 'woken up' to his/her plight by some event. This person would have serious doubts about their abilities and be overall rather pessimistic.
"I am not like the others here..." Leonard said quietly to himself looking around seeing that he had nothing more private out in the open.While Hammond had his back to Leonard his eyes turned pure black for a moment before going back to normal."So how is your day today?Would you like some tea?" Leonard said to Hammond in a polity and as friendly as he could.He now walked a few feet away form where Hammond was looking him over with his now normal eyes.Leonard was a little offended by what he had said but of course he had heard worse about him but he did not let it get to him as it use too.

"My day has been as you might expect, impeded at every turn by reluctant clients," Hammond replied. "People want a thing done for their own good but won't cooperate, won't allow themselves to be even mildly inconvenienced."

When Leonard offered tea, Hammond seemed startled. "Tea!?" Hammond said with a surprising amount of alarm, "No. I am being compensated by Ms. White for this inspection. I take only what I am due, no more and no less. I can take nothing from you; my integrity has been sullied in the past for taking even that which I was owed, so far be it for me to accept something that I did not earn."

Hammond finished tapping the last spot on Leonard's walls. "Well, looks like this room's clean. I'll be moving on to the next room unless you had any questions."

Boogie gave a quick curt nod in response to Antoinette's answer, just as he always did in their little daily to and fro of words. Antoinette was one of the very few Fables that Boogie interacted with on a regular enough basis and wasn't one of his clients to warrant such familiarity from him. He always found her professional manor quite refreshing, especially in regards to his former less reputable business associates. When Antoinette brought up the proposal of lunch Boogie couldn't help but find himself going through a mental checklist. "Lunch. Merely looking for sustenance? No, would of simply went alone if that was the case. Looking for social interaction? Possible." Just as quickly as it had started the thought ended and Boogie refocused on Antoinette. "That sounds quite enjoyable Miss Fermi." Boogie said, offering his dry, paper thine smile to the young lady.

"Great," Antoinette said, making a note on Booker's schedule. "Did you have a place in mind?"
"Must be," Solomon said, surprisingly, without any arguing.

"What are we going to do about enemy cogs?" Israfil asked.

"Well, we've already started having training matches between pilots, which was a fortunate coincidence," Maya replied, "We just need to focus a bit more on that and analyze how each pilot deals with fighting other cogs, and what are the best team dynamics for doing so."
They traveled for a short while until they reached one of the lower peaks. Kalram looked out into the horizon. "I was born in Elsil," he said with some seriousness, "but I mostly only remember Soren. I wanna see what's out there, but Mom and Dad say that there's nothing but sorrow and pain."
What are they feeding her? It looks like either a nice juicy steamed scallop, or perhaps Chinese New Year's rice cake?
@Stern Algorithm we probably don't have a theme like that.

Remember, you can't use Mighty Morphin as a bases here, they were powered by magic and had profficies and destiny and all that.

Jungle Fury

Mystic Force(throws up in mouth)

Ninja Storm

All had animal themes but they were all based off of mysticism. We have to base this off of technological based rangers like

RPM

SBPD

Time Force

And the like. They didn't have "rangers chosen by destiny", they had "operators of the ranger system."

And that is why I think we might not have a theme.*walks back to seat*

Right, dinosaurs/animals was a bad example, but SPD, RPM, and Time Force had different vehicles as their zords, the keyword here being different even though they were all vehicles of some sort. Themes like "rescue vehicles" count as a diversifying theme. My question is mainly what, besides color, will differentiate the rangers from each other. Will we have zords? Will the rangers have unique abilities that let them fulfill niche roles? These can exist in a technological system as well as in a magical system. Of course, these are questions for the GM.

Wow, you guys were busy while I was sleeping. Very nice, that makes me excited. :D So I'll go ahead and address a few things here.

1) The diversifying aesthetic of the rangers will be which color they represent on the color spectrum. Rainbow wavelength bee-yotches! This also means that there won't be a black ranger (being as black is the absence of color) and green will be in their place.

2) In terms of weapons, everyone be will have a blaster and an energy shield come standard. Each ranger will also have a personal weapon made of hard light, which can be whatever the player chooses at character creation. Sword? Hammer? Halberd? Nunchucku? Claws? Bow? So long as we don't end up with 5 swords, make it whatever you want.

Too bad, I was hoping for some ranged weapon diversity as well.

Lost Galaxy had a somewhat animal theme and it was mostly about space.

Though I'm thinking if we do have a theme, why not make it planetary? Or if that's too restricting, just space related.

Ex. The Blue Ranger could be a Comet.

Yellow = Star

Red = Sun

Black = Void or Vacuum.

So on and etc.

I actually gave up cause I couldn't think of anything for the rest lol.

This is more or less along the lines of what I was asking. I think this idea makes sense, maybe the rangers could specialize in science-y powers, like gravity, electricity, LASERS, etc.
@Stern AlgorithmIn an oppressive world where even the very lights are designed to be bleak and cause a draining effect on the populace, the Strike Force teams costumes will be brightly colored with accents of neon to inspire the people. Additionally, the weapons of the Rangers will be made of hard light constructs (think Green Lantern style). Light plays a huge and important role here. The costumes themselves will look very streamlined and space inspired due to how these particular ranger powers were made. The mentor figure is going to be a middle manager for Galatec secretly working against them. Galatec is large enough that they've encountered other ranger teams on other worlds before, and they have won, thus confiscating their tech. So the mentor cobbled together what he (or she!) can from the remnants of past alien rangers.

OK, so light will be the unifying theme, but what about the diversifying theme? What will set our rangers apart from each other, theme-wise? For example, The original Might Morphin's theme was dinosaurs, so each ranger had a different dinosaur. Will we have unique 'elemental' powers? I'm hoping we all have different weapons, melee and ranged. For example, MMPR had different melee weapons (sword, bow ,axe, etc.), but everyone had the same blaster. If our ranged weapons were different, that would be cool, for example, dual pistol, assault rifle, sniper rifle, shotgun, etc. Of course they'd be the future space-y versions of said weapons. We will have zords, I hope.
After Anya made sure Kalram was ready, she let them go. Kalram rushed ahead towards the mountains, leading Ryul to a path hewn out of the rock by the dwarves. It was relatively safe.
