I've lived in the same small southern Appalachian town my whole life, and aim to travel one day. I told Jesse he'd have to deal with me wearing converse, regardless. He'll get me in a dress, but heals... oh hell nah.
Luckily, he got a black tux with red trim, and mom was like 'well, you guys should match, probably...' so that means I have a chance of my dress being black, despite her previous protests.

@HaleyTheRandom XD People spending shitton of money while my dress was reasonably priced, my friend's uncle worked for a limo company so we got that for free, I used one of mum's old clutches, All my make-up was brought using a make-up voucher I won and mum styled my hair XD. The most expensive thing for me was getting it dyed and that wasn't just for formal XD
