C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T ___________________________________________________________________________________ Peter got bit by the spider in 2002, learned the big lesson in power and responsibility, and a rough version of all the big events from the comics spun out from there - barring a few exceptions, since it doesn't make sense to include every single crossover and team-up he's ever been apart of in a collaborative setting. So no Secret, Civil, or miscellaneous wars to speak of. But he fought The Sinister Six several times, while still in High School. He lost Gwen Stacy and Captain Stacy in college. He'd been cloned a time or two by the time he graduated. He took on an alien costume that wound up creating Venom. The city's turned against him multiple times thanks to Jameson and The Daily Bugle. He's married to Mary Jane, they were gonna have a baby, a miscarriage happened, they split up, got back together again. He was a science teacher at one point, a full-blown engineer at another point, and has been making pitifully little money selling photos to Jameson for half his life. And a couple of years ago, Otto Octavius was in control of his body for an extended period. All of this is compacted into 24 years of character history rather than 64 years of comics' history. Point being, this is a Peter Parker that's been tempered by the weight of experience. He's about to turn 40, but he's closer to the end of his career than he is to the beginning. Because of that, he's grown more confident in his abilities as a hero, struggling way less with balancing two lives than he used to. I'm playing with the idea of Peter being the first major superhero NYC ever had, so he's having to contend with the fact that now there's a bunch of superpowered individuals popping up all over the world that might make him redundant. Not looking up at a bunch of older heroes with stars in his eyes, but looking back at a generation he may have helped inspire, wondering if he's done right by them. Which will be reflected directly in characters like Miles Morales, the Spider-Women, and a version of Spider-Gwen, but I want the interactions to have Peter be the guy in the room who's seen and done it all, for a change. One thing I will specify is that I want to stick with the idea that death matters in Spidey's life. That when Norman Osborn got impaled by the glider, or when Harry succumbed to the Goblin formula, or when Aunt May died peacefully at home, they were never undone. Which means that storylines like Sins Past and One More Day couldn't have happened - which is just... so unfortunate, y'know? So unfortunate. P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) __________________________________________________________________________________ The keyword in what I want to do is "rebuild". Peter's life has been a chaotic mess for years, and he's only started to get a handle on it again after he and Mary Jane reconciled following The Clone Saga, Superior, and a few other periods that drove them apart. He lost a promising job thanks to Otto test-driving his mind but gained a tenative second chance, Jameson is about to retire and finally get off his back, and all of his big villains are starting to wind down after years of being humiliated by him. So of course, the Parker Luck has to kick back in eventually and he's going to have to be tested. But at this point, that's just business as usual for him. The more startling status quo would be if forces didn't conspire against him and everything he loves. I'm hoping to interact with a variety of characters, since Spider-Man is a very established presence in a world that, so far, doesn't feel like it has alot of those. I'll likely have some solo plots going on, but I'm basically free to cross paths with whoever on the side, as long as they're either in New York or have a very plausible reason for Peter to travel. But a home turf's a home turf, y'know?

Created in a response to successfully creating a Super Soldier in Captain America, CADMUS has been dedicated to recreating super soldier, crafting several experiments to help humanity stay ahead in the age of Superheroes. Due to the success of the WEAPON X Program, Abraham Cornelius is the current director and lead scientist. CADMUS works with every governmental organization at some level.

C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T C H A R A C T E R C O N C E P T ___________________________________________________________________________________ The concept for this iteration of Wolverine is not too wildly different in personality from his comic iteration. The difference lies in how Logan's life has played out. Keeping on the theme of long life, Logan has fought in almost every war imaginable since the 1870's, trained as Ogun's greatest student, and saved the life of a young Kenuichio Hoshida aka Silver Samurai. Where things differ is Logan is blood brothers with Sabertooth and Nick Fury would end up recruiting the pair for the Weapon X program under SHIELD where Logan would earn the codename Wolverine. This program would introduce them to Logan's most trusted ally in Wade Wilson while also tearing Logan and Victor apart. Under Abraham Cornelius, Logan still undergoes the process that bonds adamantium to his skeleton. Due to how they were treated and the things they were forced to do, he would eventually defect after injuring Nick Fury. The major inspiration for the next part of Wolverine's life would be from stories like Lone Wolf and Cub, Vagabond, and God of War 2018. Logan falls in love with Sarah Kinney, who at first is working undercover for SHIELD, and they sire a child together, Laura. Laura is special as her body creates adamantium, not needing the bonding process like her father. Sabertooth would be sent to take the child, killing Sarah in the process. Spending years on the run, Logan now has to raise Laura while dealing with his past. P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) __________________________________________________________________________________ I think Wolverine is one of the most well written characters in comics. All his stories are personal and about facing his past. He's one of the few where the writing is consistent without hard swings in his character. The one thing that Logan has never gotten to do is raise his children. While he has mentored and played father figure to many characters, I think there is a story to tell of him being a father despite the things he has to face. I think this grounds him to an extent, forcing him to truly think about his actions, instead of diving head first into violence. The story will put him at odds with Nick Fury and SHIELD, who is envisioned as a bit of a villain, but not evil. Logan and Laura will roam, facing daunting odds and growing as a family....alongside Laura's annoying Uncle Wade Wilson.

Alessia gave a heavy breath as her rage subsided, her body seemingly deflating. She mulled over her recent actions, staring at the man she had rag dolled like a child playing with her favorite doll. The idea that these were mage knights made her laugh just a bit. These men were weak and pathetic in Alessia's eyes, they were touted as knights for the Mage King and they couldn't handle a few people attacking them. Though Alessia was not downplaying herself, she knew that even the toughest of mages would fall at her feet so, even standing before her was a testament of one's strength. Her attention would eventually deviate to the group of fighters that she had just fought alongside, her curiosity peaked.

"You trav'lers jus' happened t'be around and figured you'd jump in t'help when you saw the fight? Suppose there's some thanks t'be given, then."

The man that spoke sparked arousal in the barbarian as she locked her eyes upon him. Even she understood that this moment was not the time to embrace her base urges and scoop this Nika fella off of his feet. Instead she just responded in kind to his thanks.

"Its no issue. Crushing mage knight goons is a favorite pastime."

She turned her attention from the handsome man to the lady of the hour, Brigitte Fenris. The barbarian stomped through the snow toward Lady Fenris, her demeanor seeming aggressive and her face giving off a glare. She cared less for who was in her way, determined to reach her destination, which only was a few feet away. As she approached Brigitte, the size difference only grew more apparent until she was towering over the leader of the group.

T H E S T O R Y S O F A R... T H E S T O R Y S O F A R... ___________________________________________________________________________________ Eighty-one years ago, love bloomed upon the battlefield. Steve Rogers, The hero known as Captain America, and US agent Peggy Carter would find each other through the chaos of World War II, producing a son together after the war had been won. James Buchanan Rogers would be something special, the super soldier serum pumping through his veins thanks to has father being the world's first super soldier. A widely sought after child, Steve and Peggy were constantly having to protect the child from forces that wanted to take him for their own agendas. James, aka Bucky as coined by his father, would grow up within SHIELD, the agency started by his mother, always watching his parents do what they do best, fight the good fight. Eventually the role of sidekick would be bestowed upon the boy, learning and fighting against those that would seek to harm the people of America, a strenuous activity that many a times left Steve and James at odds, James feeling as though his father held him to impossible standards. This would lead to one of the most pivotal turning points of their lives. A sect of HYDRA would attempt to assassinate Steve Rogers, bringing down an entire building. Fortunately Steve survived the attack, unfortunately Peggy Carter would not survive the attack and Bucky would end up losing his left arm. This would create a lasting rift between Steve and Bucky, the son believing that they could have done more to protect Peggy while the husband fell into a depressive state, unable to comfort his son. Peggy's death would push Bucky to acquiring a metal arm and becoming a shadow agent under SHEILD. IF he couldn't bring peace to the world in the way his father once did, then he'd do it from the shadows, doing the things that would not be deemed heroic. Steve Rogers may face the world eye to eye but Bucky slits the throat of those that seek to harm it. P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) P L O T ( S ) & G O A L ( S ) __________________________________________________________________________________ I want to present a Winter Soldier that has his life together currently and has to face the world once things start going to shit. The intrigue of changing the relationship between Steve and Bucky from best friends to father and son is high and brings forth different ideas that I can delve into. Bucky will eventually become Captain America and he has to learn what it takes to be Captain America. In the comics, he only took the mantle to preserve Steve's legacy and disliked it while I want him to willingly decide to be Cap, have the hope for the world that his father lost while still being different in how he handles situations. Also his story will facilitate the rise of HYDRA in the present era, which should open avenues for events. In regards to being a traveling hero, Bucky will travel at times. I want to do as many crossovers as possible and build the world.
