You should never brush your teeth with your left hand. The reason mostly comes down to the fact a toothbrush works better.

It's at times like this that I remember my dad's final words to me before he passed. "Careful son. I don't think the safety is on." Such wisdom.

I think due to the nature of Morgan's powers. I am going to try and post last for this round. Since his light drives away the darkness to a degree and will bring some comfort to the nightmares everyone is feeling.

I am quite excited though!

Unless most of you think it would be good for me to go sooner then later so you can respond to Morgan's power? I'm open for suggestions.
So a few questions!

This keep. I tried to read things twice to make sure I didn't miss it. But what is the location of this keep? Is it in the middle of nowhere? Surrounded by a town that it was once there to protect? Protecting a mountain pass? Is it surrounded by a moat? Ditches with soldiers posted?

I would assume the guards are always on high alert. Ready to kill whoever. Fling a spear first and ask questions later type of situation?

I actually have a pretty decent idea for a character. Do I submit it to you via PM? Or just start writing?

EDIT: I see now some of these questions could have been answered if I just read the first IC post.

Whomp Whomp lol
The crackling of the fire and the smell of roasted pork wafted through the air as the Storyteller sat surrounded by children. It was evening and several of the children were munching on bread and dried fruit as the main course was reaching perfection in the kitchen. The old man chuckled as he popped a few grapes in his mouth and smiled enjoying their sweet yet tart flavor.

He sighed contentedly as he rolled a grape in-between his thumb and pointer finger. "So where was I?"

The children laughed at how easily the Storyteller was distracted, yet several of the adventurers gave one another knowing glances. This was a common maneuver of his to see who was actually listening because if he was not holding his listeners attention, he'd quickly switch gears depending on the age of his audience. One of the adventurers chuckled to himself as he vividly remembered how it had been a story of halflings until the Storyteller noticed most of the children for some reason or another were falling asleep, and the story morphed into something about a cricket that tried to marry the sun.

Oh, how the children had laughed, while internally he had been quite annoyed as he much rather would have heard about the adventures of Filgo Habbins and his journey to destroy the one bracelet but alas he knew if he hung around long enough the Storyteller would be bound to repeat himself. His attention snapped back to the situation at hand as he heard one of the children squeak a response.

"The princess had fallen into the goblin kingdom!"

"Yeah!" Shouted a different kid! " But these goblins were indestructible!"

As the Storyteller chomped on the final grape he smiled at his more eager listeners and continued.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Young Princess Leana had just gotten grabbed by several of the goblin guards after she had fallen into the dark underground kingdom. Despite being named goblins these creatures were roughly the size of humans with giant bulbous noses and bodies riddled of warts of various sizes. She had been sneaking about in the mountain woods with an urchin she had befriended when she had tumbled into the hole. Though a child she had grabbed her small dagger and jabbed it into the nearest goblins eye. Yet instead of screaming the creature just laughed as the now broken dagger tumbled from her hand as the goblin was completely unharmed.

The small boy had carefully followed behind the princess and arrived just in time to see them starting to pull her away. The boy only had eleven winters under his belt making him barely older than the princess, but he had often heard from his pawpaw about what to do if one ever encountered a mountain goblin. Their skin and bodies seemed to rival that of the mountain itself, but they had two weaknesses. He frowned as he realized he could do nothing about the first weakness, but he could still handle these two.

As the goblins of the mountain feared nothing, they were unarmed only intending to take the princess to their king. Quickly and carefully, he got closer and yelled getting the goblins attention.

"Hey butt face! Let her go!" He yelled causing the first goblin to let go of the princess and grab the boy with a wicked grin. The goblin had the man child. It was going to be a good day as far as he was concerned until a wave of pain radiated up his body. The boy had stomped on his feet. The second goblin didn't fare much better despite its best efforts to dodge the boy's feet stomping abilities. It was a strange weakness of these mountain goblins. The tops of their feet and toes were extremely tender much like if one kicked a man in their lower regions.

As the two guards were rolling around on the ground hollering and clutching their feet. The boy grabbed the princess and they fled from the cave.

Neither has been on in over 10 days so it’s hard to say.
Honestly Zeroth its completely ok if you don't hear the first thing Chanticleer said. You are over there yelling and he's just speaking in his normal tone. That sounds about right for him. lol

Chanticleer
Early Evening
@Xaltwind@Zeroth

Chanticleer rubbed his large belly absentmindedly as he waited. His free hand rested on the hilt of his short sword. This was always the worst part about calling out monsters. It was either a tidal wave of activity or a slow roar. His eyes widened as he was surprised to see two humans come strolling out the town.

Well this was complicating things. Were the goblins tricksy and sending out armed bait to entice him to lower his guard? As the younger of the two called out to him. Chanticleer knew he had to be tricksy-er. Moving his hand away from his sword Chanticleer put on a massive smile that was mostly pointless as it was hidden behind the red forest of facial hair.

"Nevermind me good sir! I am merely seeking somewhere to lay my head and needed to make sure this place had nothing untoward buried in it."

Getting into the village would help him in multiple ways and then he could find the goblin overlords and he'd just play along until they chose to reveal themselves. He slowly began to come down from the raised bit of land he had been standing on towards the two humans that had come out to greet them.

With a flamboyant wave of his meaty paws several magical circles appeared by his feet and out from the circles came chickens with azure plumage and golden colored crowns. That clucked and pecked at the ground and stared in amazement at their surroundings. Quickly pulling off his hood revealing his entire wild mane of fiery hair. The dwarf gave a bow as his hair that was strangely mixed with red feathers fell across his face.

"I go by Chanticleer and I am just your humble Chickenmancer!"
These are about to be the most colorful batch of 'goblins' Chanticleer has ever seen!
*blows a bit of dust off the interest check*

Who's ready?!?!
Well I have often wondered if Morgan was going to take any points in healer or not but this seems to answer that question with Serena definitely being a dedicated healer. I think I’ll still keep his light being a soothing helpful type buff for allies if that’s fine with you Blitz.
Are you still accepting? Am interested in joining this if you are!
