Eh, not entirely. But mostly, yeah. We dont let them vote in groups, though. We allow them to vote individually.

Is that any different, in the end?

<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Now that's an accomplishment!

<Snipped quote by Fractured>

What?? Like, I understand the terms and the structure of this sentence but what??

*Shrugs*
It's just a part of engineering.
<Snipped quote by Fractured>

How do you know more errors won't crop up?

<Snipped quote by Techspert>

That's awesome! Practical science is so cool.

*Smiles*
Especially when things start working after fifty tests.
<Snipped quote by Fractured>

What if that happens again? Can you reset to the Automatic System, fix the errors, and switch back?

<Snipped quote by Techspert>

A great passion! We're all scientists here, and by "all" I mean, me, Data, and you!

I... enjoy applied science myself. There are some pet theories I really enjoy, but there's nothing better than seeing the concepts you love become a reality.

Curiosity is fine—that's how you do science!

*Nods*
A passion of mine.
@Techspert@souleaterfan320 Ooh, politics!

I apologize if I come across as overaggressive. I would very much like to learn the underlying motivations of the organization, as the EDB owns a particularly sizable territory in my time.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Individually yes. In groups, not so much. A person is intellegent. People as a whole are finicky, frail and prone to bad decisions.

And you're letting them make decisions for everyone as a group.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

It allows the people within it to choose the best way to get things done. Want a small business law put in place? Vote on it. With enough votes, it gets through. They are in near complete control of what they want done. Plus, within the EDB, we arent a two-party system. Everyone is fairly represented.

On average, do people make good decisions?
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

It has its own flaws, but its the best current form of government in my opinion.

Why?
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

People of all species tend to bw frail things. They lack proper guidance, hence why governments are born. With the EDB, I can assure that everyone will be given fair treatment under a genuine democratic system. Granted, we dont typically 'meddle' with different planets, only those in which the major powers have agreed to join our cause. The others we simply safeguard.

Do you believe democracy is a good system?
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Shinji: we're doing good things to help great people all over existence. Its a collective of governments, not an empire.

Because you believe meddling is better for everyone in the long run? Genuine question.
