Didn't they just have a lot of power to do whatever they wanted? And they could make rules using the System?

It's effectively a similar concept, but on a smaller scale. The larger your territory, the more power you can store and call upon at a given time.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

How does this territory thing know that you own a territory and somebody else doesn't? What do you mean by control? What do you have to control?

Do you know how Tier Five exerted control over all of Existence? They had special privileges due to their class?

I mean, it's hard to get 600 wins at all. But yellow rank is above-average so who knows.

Was it fun, at least?
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Yeah, that's almost certainly what happened. That's why I was mad in the first place.

He probably also only has that record because of ragequits.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Unfortunately not. But even if it did it'd still be annoying because he was a great challenge aside from me apparently getting sharingan on that last match with how well I was reading him.

He probably ragequit then.
That's so fucking annoying
I fight the guy with the best connection I've ever gotten, barely pull out a win, get my ass handed to me, and in the third set I happy birthday his entire healthbar and right before I doublekill and win he disconnects even though he's high ranked in casual and had 600+ wins.

Your game doesn't auto-win for disconnects? Lame.
Hell is just FNAF 50/20 but with you actually in the office having to do all that shit by hand.

You can remove the "but" and everything after.

How do you, like, conquer a territory?

It is effectively exerting one's control, presence, and influence over a dimensional region. Typically, the owner of the territory will defend it and attempt to prevent a takeover. The more territory you have, the more strength you likely have at your disposal. Of course, you could run out if in nonstop battles, but for the most part, that's how it works.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

Do people not just settle? I know conquering territories on planets is hard once everybody has their countries because then you need a big war and have to topple the government and install your own and everything, but how does it even work with territories?

Dimensions are typically left out of it. Could you ask your question in a different way?
<Snipped quote by Techspert>

I've never played that!

It is a fun game, regardless of the implications.
