Shinji:
*looks pissed*
OR WHAT?
*Holds onto you*
Please don't hurt me...

Shinji:
*looks pissed*
OR WHAT?
<Snipped quote by Meta>
I want an explanation. Nothing makes any fucking sense right now. This feels like a fever dream.... also sorry for the cursing I....
*gets pissed*
Fuck it, I need a drink.
*pulls a flask from my sleeve, downing its contents in under 6 seconds*

If that was as you claim, he would not be able to speak, decide, or even function without your support. But as it stands he is still himself and can still make some choices on his own. So although you are indeed supposed to be a support and safety net for him, it does not mean that he should have to rely on you completely.
After all, I am not asking you to leave him or stop caring for him. I'm asking you to take a chance that might help him make another step forward without losing what he cares for.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
This is exactly the time and place to do that. An adult is just a teenager with years of experience behind them who knows how to handle responsibility. That makes him no different from anyone else, especially right now. As a therapist you also have the duty to not get involved in your patent's life and to make sure they can stand on their own again. If he asks for your help I will let him, but that's his choice to make.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
According to mental health, just because someone or something can comfort him doesn't mean it will be good for him in every situation. Kids have to discard their security blankets and some point, and alcoholics either die or put down the bottle. I'm not saying that if he asks for us to let him see you that I'll stop him, but at the same time you can't always be there every step of the way.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
*Looks at you unamused.*
It's not ok.
Not only would that leave the chance that one of you would be chosen with a bias, but it also renders the whole point of you both leaving mute.
So instead, I can send you both to a place where it would be near impossible for you to harm one another.
<Snipped quote by Meta>
Then maybe clearing that up without attacking would help.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
Then how about this.
*Looks at both Star and Fairy Blue.*
If neither of you are willing to leave if the other stays, why don't you both agree to leave together and keep an eye on each other.
Of course like you said though, this depends on Shinji being ok with the situation.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
I can completely understand that. But as of right now I can't completely trust you. As the mediator of this situation, it is my responsibility to see that both Shinji's life is preserved, and that the situation attached to him doesn't spiral out of control.
Because of that, I would like you to at least trust in my sincerity as a mediator and as a person that I will do everything in my power to ensure that this goes through without a loss.
If you require a token or proof of my sincerity, I will provide it.
<Snipped quote by Techspert>
As admirable as it is, that doesn't mean you can be guaranteed as an asset in Shinji's recovery and stability. If we succeed, I'm sure you'll have many more chances to stay by his side and help him.
<Snipped quote by Meta>
Thanks.
@Techspert
*Turns to Fairy Blue.*
Right now we're trying to help solve a problem with Shinji in a way that ensures he lives. But as Star has pointed out, you don't exactly have a reputation that would help in doing so. So may I ask that you leave?
