Bio

I have been writing as a hobby for longer than you have been alive. I have been a regular member and roleplayer of no less than fourteen different online forums during that time (including the old RPG), five six eight of which no longer exist.

I was previously a regular on the Homestuck forums, but I became so sick of thread turnover there that I asked around and eventually found the Guild. Since joining, I have exclusively only participated in Advanced RPs. Before Mahz gave NRPs their own subforum, I used to be an NRP regular in the Advanced Subforum. I am a Guildfall survivor, and know/regularly write with a few others.

If you ask anybody who has written with me in previous RPs, they should tell you that I have a generally open schedule, I post regularly and in a timely fashion, and I never drop an RP once I join unless the thread dies. Some of them may tell you that I have extensive expertise within the realms of Biology, Psychology, and Physics, which I will make no effort to validate since there is no way I can provide hard proof of aforementioned alleged expertise to anybody over the internet (though I am happy to try and answer any questions you send my way).

My favorite fandom is the Myst franchise, which seemingly nobody other than me has ever heard of.

I was a Contest Moderator for the Writing Contests Subforum for just a little bit over two years. I wrote the Moderation Policy for that subforum and I ran a contest called the Twelve Labours; you can still go there and see all of them and the entries people wrote for them in the Contests Section and the Victory Archives.

I have been quadruple secret banned from the guild discord. That is not a joke.

A'right, submission for TTL ends in around four and a half hours, but I will not be around for it. I'll be putting up all the entries sometime tomorrow though regardless, so look forward to that.
The extremely slow IC is definitely something to make a person consider not bothering.

The IC is slow because of people waiting for stuff to happen resulting in them leaving because nothing is happening because nobody is doing anything because everybody is waiting for stuff to happen.

I'm sending out Probes to surrounding powers, AmongHeroes and SgtEasy have something going on, others have meetings being worked out in the background - nations are not static.

If you're looking for something to do, I would advise going out and exploring. You have evidence of other nearby powers existing, why not attempt making contact?
Hey, just coming in to tell everyone I'm still around. New Arenas are mostly done but I have to take a break since judging for the Third Labour starts tomorrow, but you can expect all six to be ready and up by the 5th of August at the latest.

Here's a spoiler of their names and a hint at the nature in the meantime.

-Recursive Gameboard: Hope you've been practicing your Metagame.
-Geodesic Valley: Straightforward, in a roundabout way.
-Onslaught Station: A Prisoner's Dilemma run through a meatgrinder.
-Clockwork Fairground: A race to the finish - but it's not about who comes first.
-Timeshare Lodge: Where schedule conflicts become invariably fatal.
-The Rhino's Den: Never bargain with a Demon unless you have to.
@Terminal Do you want a new private convo for every entry in the twelve labours with the number of the labour in the title or would you prefer if I make one general twelve labour convo and put every new entry there? I don't mind either way, but maybe you have a preference for one or the other.

It is much easier to tally them up if you have a separate PM for each specific Labour.

The deadline is midnight, EST?

The deadline is OBJECTIVE Midnight. I.E., Midnight once experienced by the entire world. GMT -12.
Less than twenty-four hours remain.
"Once everyone's in position, I'll get to work. Keep an eye on your comms, I'll be messaging you if I see something worth noting."

"Just keep an ear out for the PD. If they came along I want you to detonate the insurance charges I told you to set up." Traction mumbled through a mouth half-full of Soyjerky. "Otherwise Damien will scope your back for you." She swallowed and stuffed the half-empty snack bag underneath her seat.

"Kali, you just hang out until we need you. Be ready to drop in through the skylight or by any of the doors in case we need you to brick anything. Caewil, Yegor, and I will go in through the front, no fuss. We get stopped, we're here to pick up a personal item, Caewil can take point while I own any commlinks or tags they pull to check for verification. We go in chill, there's no reason they won't know we're legit unless they check their manifest, in which case we know where it is. If they let us be, I'll find the manifest while you two window shop for the CDs. We'll wait until I've spoofed the manifests, then run a blitz on the pallet. If they decide we have no business in there, we dump them." Just like that, Traction climbed out of the Gopher's back passenger cabin. She sent an AR message to Damien as she left the vehicle.

Inform me immediately if you see any obvious cargo or shipping vehicles pulling in, or any Go-Gangers for that matter. Also make sure Kali doesn't do anything stupid while she's in the air.

"Let's go people, we don't have all night."
Welp.

That's exactly not enough time.

Why is it that I can never actually do something for these?

To achieve great things, two things are needed. A plan, and not quite enough time.

Tick tock everyone.

As of right now you all have around, oh,

*Checks clock*

77 hours minus some minutes to submit your entries.
I'll see about getting a post up sometime tomorrow.
