Hey remember when this site didn't have 3 tabs in the IC threads? Crazy.

People like to nudge aside the fact that there's a level of commitment to hosting, and joining an RP. The majority of players don't have it in either case, regardless of how interesting an idea is.

I've been gone so long that I forgot what the status bar was like. It's like coming back to an old apartment, except it's not an apartment anymore, it's just two walls and a lot of heroine addicts.

Yzeira Yezia

Eldritch IV - Mess Hall

@Lmpkio@Archmage MC

Trying to deceive his other senses now? Regrettably ineffective, as it would soon would become obvious to the resistance members surrounding Yzeira. As the spike formed to strike Bayonetta, a flurry of feathers approached Yzeira from behind- Only to be evaporated in a small explosion that spread out from one of his remaining orbs behind him as they neared. But more concerned with Kid Flash, who's approach sent a shock down his neck, similar to those that came from Bayonetta's guns. Regardless, he'd been keeping a close eye on that brat, making his approach less concerning than it might have been if his attention was swayed elsewhere. Yzeira shifted his foot ever so slightly against the ground, triggering the dormant energy that he'd stored in the ground nearby to rupture upwards, tearing apart the ground as it sent a several foot-high shock wave towards Wally as his foot met the back of Yzeira's knee, which he bent forwards and slipped to the left, not fast enough to completely avoid damage, but quick enough to avoid having his bones completely shattered. The impact sent the RoC member spinning around on his left foot to face Kid flash, just as a wave of chaotic energy separated them. As this happened, he coated his left forearm with thick layer of energy, and lowered it to his side, guarding his body preemptively as Flash let lose with a few sonic-speed punches. If they'd landed, there would be a significant amount of pain in the boy's future, assuming her survived. Yzeira on the other hand would suffer a broken arm, in the very worst case scenario.
@Blue Demon Right=o. Once you post I can always have you and brian run into @Wind Wild

Alternatively, Wind's character can appear at complete random once the group converges to leave, but it doesn't make much of a difference. Once you two post, I'm grouping everyone in Arcadia up and shipping them out
OMFG STOP
I've been a little busy recently, and I'm about to post, but:

It was a simple matter for the human bullet to shift his momentum. Wally's feet left the floor and he brought his right knee up to his chest. Once he was within range, the speedster launched his leg into the back of Tezia's knee in a devastating side kick, containing all of the force of a crashing jet in an area the size of a human foot. But Kid Flash knew this enemy was dangerous; it was highly unlikely that his attack would drop the Executive. So Wally danced between the remaining chickens and left a parting gift for the red-clad warrior: a trio of extruciating punches to his kidney, a hasty back elbow to his crotch and a right cross to his extended arm. The last of the speedster's energy was spent tackling Bayonetta out of the way of the energy spike.
The maneuver left the winded vigilante sprawled on the floor mere meters from a likely raging opponent.

Isn't this considered an auto-hit? It's not written as a set of 'what if' blows, and has an end result wherein Wally is winded.

The chasm's edge was no place for a gem to be born, but unfortunately, fate guaranteed that Fireonyx's awakening would a crude, unforgiving fall into the pits below. A tall, slim hole near the top of the kindergarten glowed with pale orange light just before its gem stepped out, onto nothing, unbeknownst to the trip she was about to take straight to the bottom of the chasm. The gem fell forwards, still dazed from her slumber, and spun through the air clumsily. What was she looking at? Several gems were scattered across the kindergarten, but Fireonyx only caught a brief glimpse of each as he vision quickly spun 'round and 'round, spanning a great portion of the chasm where she was born. She tried to call for help, but only a feint moan left her mouth, obstructed by the peculiar location in which her gem was settled. It was of no use, she was going to hit the ground. Hopefully she didn't land on anything too sharp.

Thump! The dust flew away from her point of impact, leaving a small indent in the ground where she'd landed. Fireonyx pushed herself up onto her knees and peered at the surrounding machines, all robbed of their life, standing stagnant in the quiet Chasm where gems were made. Fireonyx took note of a very nasally voice commenting on something she could discern in the distance. But suddenly it was drowned out by somebody shouting from above. "Anybody home?" the voice inquired innocently. Fireonyx turned her head towards the voice and opened her mouth, but again, nothing came out. For a moment she was frozen in time. Her life hadn't been very long, but already, she wished she was buried back in the canyon wall.
@Ryuzaki Ah right, I'll get on that now.

"Nope!" Luke howled at the top of his lungs, jutting his arms forward like a robot before chuckling at what he did. There was no need for a plan! Not in his mind anyways. The CMAS may have been organized, but they couldn't possibly stand up to a group of trained divers! Most CMAS mages hadn't even fought against others before! Luke paused for a moment on that though, stopping in his tracks and holding his arm back, slowing the group to a halt. "Didja hear that? Sounds like uh..." Luke stopped talking and reached for his pants for a moment. A few seconds passed before he spun around with a giant smile, and shrugged. "Naw, nevermind!" He barked, marching back in the direction they were intially headed. Truth was, something was watching them, or rather, it was watching Luke. But it wasn't anywhere nearby. Call it a hunch in the moment, but Luke would of sworn it on his artificial heart that he felt a disturbance in his arcane presence for a split second.

Arcadia

Survey Initiative HQ - Command Center

@Unfortunately

Yvette stared at Karida blankly, watching the muscles in her face bend and snap with every word. The stress-torn commander nodded at Karida's assurance with an air of disappointment, looking as if she wasn't convinced, but forced herself to proceed with the debriefing as ordered. "We will be pulling our team through the surrounding plains using the provided machine as necessary, as I'm sure you're already aware, before reaching Xena. The grounds there are too treacherous to simply drive through without possibly damaging the vehicle, so we'll be forced to escort the driver on foot, clearing the path as needed, until we've made our way through the blasted stone-lands in its entirety. Crucial to our success is that we keep the vehicle safe, not only from accidents, but from the local creatures that plague Xena, and any Divers with an eye for shiny equipment. Not only that, but I'm to believe, or rather, I've been told, that some Divers aren't too fond of the Survey initiative, and may interfere with our mission. Of course, nobody knows about Survey group Alpha except those within it, and the highest order within the CMAS, its council. If we are attacked, it's been asked of us to capture and detain any Divers we come across for later questioning at the hands of Arch-mage Sydney himself, Yvette explained curtly, swishing the liquid in her bottle around as she did so. The woman then glared at Karida again and narrowed her eyes. "It has been ordered that you are equal with my rank, despite your title. But please, don't let that fool you. The only person you are to take command from while out there, is me, and if you disobey, I'll be sure to enforce my orders with gusto. Do not acknowledge the pain of our allies, and do not let their weakness jeopardize the mission. Understood?"
@User I'll do that. You can intro yourself now if you want, in the sky over the ambush point if you want (Which is aptly known as 'Xena' if you want to add that detail) and I'll tag you when the groups converge.

@Wind WildThe majority of No-Mans-Land is covered in wildlife. There are trees and grasslands spanning for miles in every direction. About 70% of no-man's-land would actually appear quite habitable. As habitable as it might seem, there are a plethora of dangers to behold.

Arcadia's surroundings are covered in very large grassy plains with worn-out paths that lead into the surrounding territories, towards Illon, Hyznia, and Teknoh.

Hyznia Castle is south-west of Arcadia about 20 KM, built on top of a large hill where the grass starts to thin out. A large string of mountains rests not too far in the distance in the south, dividing Hyznia's backside from the rest of Thorisa. A large lake rests not-too-far to the west of Hyznia as well, shaped much like a cheese-puff. The lake is aptly called the cheesy experience Oloso, named for the ruins within, and the creatures that inhabit it and the lands nearby.

Illon is south east of Arcadia, far past where the grasslands end, past a small thick collection of trees that pollute the hillside for about a kilometer before reaching the city, and smack dab in the middle of a very damp swamp-land where it rains very frequently. It's about 23 KM away from Arcadia. The west, south, and eastern edges of the city are surrounded by a massive expanse of water that goes on for kilometers, and hugs its borders, granting only one entrance.

*Bonus* Teknoh is barely 10 KM away, to the northeast of Arcadia, with the grassy-plains spanning across half of its borders. The west of Teknoh is a massive expanse of uneven rocks and upturned dirt known as Xena, where several thousand shards of stone, ranging in size from relatively small to astronomically huge, stick out from a mixture of soft dirt and gravel. There's a river that runs through Xena, passes right through Teknoh dividing it in half, and extends further to the east.

I'll draw up a map eventually.
Sorry about the tiny post, there's not much to be done and I have a HUGE headache.
